Cursed Love

"You ruined my chance to get at that son of yours, so I can give his body to Naraku."
"I'm so sorry."
"You are no use to me. You ruined the boy's life enough a bad mother."
"Shut up!"
Ichijo opened up another bottle and Ren's mother's soul was sucked in. Ichijo then turned to Hiroshi, "You cat demon! Can I trust you to help me to get at Ren the demon you use to guard?"
"Who is it that you work for?"
"I work for myself."
"You're full of crap. So, why do you want Ren anyway? What has Ren done to you that you want to harm him?"
Ichijo let a small smile cross his face. "You want to know why huh? Well I don't think that's any of your concern. I am rather surprised that the lizard demons haven't killed Ren when he wandered into the nest."
"You underestimate Ren."
"Well I'll make sure I won't make that mistake again. Ren will belong to me and don't think you can stop me."
"Belong to you? I wont allow that to happen rather I am dead of not."
"I see. So I guess that means I'll have to go to extreme measures." Ichijo said as he reached for one of his bottles.
He dropped the liquid on the ground a white flash rose up and struck Hiroshi head on. Hiroshi yelled in pain before he was sucked into the same bottle as Ren's mother.
"There you too can stay in there until I find some use for you. Sooner or later Ren will do what I say for the sake of the both of you."

Ren watched as the sun slowly began to rise over the horizon. He heard the mother lizard give off a low growl that stirred him from his thoughts. Ren looked around and smelled the air he didn't see or smell anything out of the ordinary, but the mother lizard had a stronger sense of smell then he did. The three little ones woke up uneasy knowing their mother was in a defensive mode.
Ren got up and watched the area closely for any signs of trespassers. Ren then saw something rush from the underbrush. "Ren!" Inuyasha called out relieved to see him.
Sesshomaru was right behind him just as relieved to see that Ren was alright. The mother lizard got in between Ren and the two dog demons, she gave a low growl. Inuyasha reached for his sword ready to fight to get his mate back, Sesshomaru on the other hand was more senseable and realized that the mother was just protecting her young. Which he noticed Ren became apart of real fast surprisingly.
Inuyasha didn't think as he charged headon with his sword. The mother lizard gave a roar as she became more of the defensive mode. "Inuyasha stop!" Ren called out.
Inuyasha stopped momentarily in his tracks as Ren walked in front of the mother lizard. She gave another low growl not sure what to expect, but allowed Ren to go with the dog demons.
"Are you alright Ren?" Sesshomaru asked.
"Yea I think so." Ren said before he remembered that Ichijo held his mother's soul and his guardian's soul hostage. "How's the baby?" Inuyasha asked as he ran a hand down his abdomen.
Ren let a shiver creep up his spine as Inuyasha touched him. "The baby's fine. can we go home now?"
"Yes we should head back. I am sure Rin will be wondering where I am as well as you. She has become quite fond of you in the short time she's known you." Sesshomaru said.
The three of them headed back towards the castle. Ren turned and waved goodbye to the mother lizard and her young before following his mates back to the castle.
