A Dream of You

What Am I?

Kagome woke up alone and cold. She sat up in the bed, it was daytime. She wondered how long she had slept. The only thing she had to wear was her pajamas, so they had to do. After getting dressed she padded across the cold stone floor. The door opened before she could get to it.

Ayame walked inside smiling. "Morning, Kagome."

"Good Morning. Where is everyone?"

"Oh, everyone else has been up for several hours. You must have been exhausted but with them two I can understand." Ayame saw the blush and smiled. "It's okay no need to blush. I'm suprised the fox is willing to share you, most men wouldn't. Then again those two seem very close. And if they both love you and if you love both of them, I guess its understandable."

Kagome didn't know if she should bother correcting her. It was true she loved both of them but neither loved her. "How is Rin?"

"She's doing great thanks to you. She's back to herself and in the library at the moment. Rin goes there whenever Kouga and his mate stop by."

"Kouga?"

"Yep, he took a mate about fifty years ago. Between you and me I can't stand the bitch. But you didn't hear that. I swear if she makes another move on Sesshomaru I'm going to kill her." Ayame sighed and looked at her. "I trust Sesshomaru, it still bugs the hell out of me to see her throwing herself at him. Kouga doesn't love her so he doesn't care."

"Then why is Kouga with her?"

"I think it was a lapse of common sense on his part. Shame he never had much. Why mate with a woman that won't remain faithful. The few pups she's had aren't his. What can I say he's an idiot. If you want I can take you down. Sesh and Kouga are in the main room with that Yusuke and Hiei. Your two men decided to go for a tour of the estate but I'm sure we can find them."

"That would be great." Kagome followed her out the door. They traveled down a long hallway and took a right. They stopped when they heard voices. There was a high pitched laugh.

"Really? I'm so glad I got a chance to run into you two again. I always wondered why you two stopped coming to see me, we use to have so much fun together. I still remember what it feels like to have both of you take me at the same time. Its been almost what two centuries since you two came to see me. Its not everyday a woman gets two men in her. What do you say?"

Kagome knew who she was talking to. She took the next corner to confirm it. There was some wolf demon with her arms around Youko's neck kissing him, he had his hands on her shoulders. Koronue was standing close to the woman with his hands on her waist. She felt a hand on her elbow and turned to see Ayame staring at her, eyes full of pity. She snatched her elbow away and ran the way they'd just came from.

Ayame turned and watched, to see what the men would do.

Youko felt the woman's arms latch onto his neck and pull him down. He and Koronue had recognized the woman when she'd been introduced as Kouga's mate. They'd been trying to avoid her but she had caught up to him. True they had been with her long ago but neither wanted anything to do with her now. He had his hands on her shoulders trying to push her off but she held on tight. She was trying to force him to open his mouth.

Koronue went for her waist trying to pull her off his friend. The bitch had a death grip on him. "Let go," Sighing Koronue eventually gave up and grabbed her hair yanking her head back. "Owe." Kurama threw her from him and she landed on her ass. "What did you do that for?"

"Don't ever touch me again. Thanks." The fox looked at his friend wiping the woman's slober off his mouth. His eyes caught movement out the corner. He turned his head to see Ayame standing there. "It's not what it looked like." Shit, all he needed was some over-reactive female running back to Kagome.

"I know," She looked down the hallway. "But I think you two better go explain that to Kagome."

Kagome finally found an exit, she ran out into the grounds. She stopped for a minute to collect her thoughts. Not wanting to have anyone follow her, she concentrated. If they decided to look for her they would follow her scent. She thought of hiding it and her aura flared to life. That done she took off once more. She wasn't sure where she was going but as long as it was away. The bottom of her feet started hurting from the rough terrain she ran over. She was sure she was off Sesshomaru's estate by now.

Still she ran, not wanting to stop. They had both been with that woman before. At the same time to make matters worse. No wonder they didn't have a problem sharing her. They did it with all their other women. Kurama had been with her after he had marked her and Koronue had been with the woman after having a relationship with her. She knew that the woman hadn't been the only one either. It hurt to know that she had meant nothing to either of them then and she still didn't. A notch on their belts of a woman they both fucked at the same time.

She was running down a hill and she slide to the bottom. She yelled in pain as her hands scrapped across the hard ground. Tears were streaming down her face. She climbed back to her feet slowly, wanting nothing more than to go home. A sharp pain was felt in the back of her neck and she fell to the ground.

The youkai stood behind her, looking down at her collasped body. He growled looking at the human female. She'd caused him so much trouble. Ever since he'd found out her connection with the fox and bat, he'd been planning this. He had been overjoyed to find out that she was also the guardian of the shikon no tama. He would take the jewel from her then deliver her broken body to them. He would have his revenge, he would have the jewel. Those two had stolen everything from him, now he would steal the one thing they cherished above all else.

He bent down over her and could feel the power coming from her chest, right next to her heart. That's where the jewel was hidden. Yes, he would tear out her heart as he claimed the jewel. He rolled her over, she was pretty for a human. He raised his claws down to tear out the miserable organ. His hand hit somekind of barrier, burning his hand. Impossible, the girl was out cold. He reached a hand out to simply touch her, no harm intended. Nothing happened. So he tried again, he went for her throat. His hand was instantly burned.

Something was erecting a barrier to protect the girl whenever he made a move to harm her. He could sense the power coming from her chest, it was the jewel. It was protecting the girl of its own will. Very well, there were other ways to kill her without laying a menacing hand on her. It would take a few days but he was patient. He picked the girl up and took to the sky.
