Kagome and the group finally reached Kaede's village. They went to the priestesses hut. "We're back Kaede!"

Kaede came out of the back room of her hut. "Did ye find Sesshoumaru?"

"We found him Kaede but he didn't know anything about the collars. In fact he had one that matched mine but his was gold." She grabbed her bag and found her bath stuff. "I am going to take a bath. Would you like to go with me Sango? Shippou I want you to stay here and watch Miroku. Make sure he doesn't try to follow us please." She followed Sango out of the hut.

"I am glad the hot springs are close to the village. I'm too tired to walk much farther." Kagome looked over at Sango. At least she looks as tired as I do.

"Me too. It has been a long day. After we bathe and eat I plan on going right to bed. At least Miroku doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping. Normally that is." She shook her head.

"He really needs to stop doing that. I wonder what it would take to make him stop. I know why he touches you but why does he have to do that to me?" Kagome saw her friends face turn red.

"He does it because he is a baka monk and has no control. Although I think he is getting a little better. He only asked ten women to bare his children this week. Now if I could stop him from groping my backside it would make my life easier." Sango saw the hot springs up ahead. Thank goodness. She and Kagome removed their cloths and sank deeply into the water. She turned to get the soap from Kagome and noticed the mark on her neck was brighter today than normal. "So Kagome what happened with Sesshoumaru while you were behind his barrier?" Now it was Kagomes face that turned red.

Kagome raised her hand and lightly touched the mark on her neck. "My your observant today. Nothing much happened. But if Inuyasha hadn't started trying to destroy my barrier its hard to tell what would have happened."

"You made that barrier? We thought Sesshoumaru had done it. I didn't even know you knew how to do that." Sango turned her shocked face back to her friend.

Kagome laughed at the shocked expression on Sango's face. Wait till she learns who taught me that. "Sesshoumaru taught me how to do that and a few other things." She was right Sango's face was even more shocked now. Kagome decided to wash her hair and get back to camp before Sango could ask her any more questions.

Sango couldn't believe what Kagome had just told her. How could a demon lord teach a miko how to use her powers. She was shocked so she quickly finished her bath then her and Kagome went back to the village. They didn't talk much on the way back. They were too tired. Besides Sango still had to find a way to ask Kagome more about Sesshoumaru. She would do that later. When they weren't so tired.

Kagome was glad that Sango didn't ask any more questions. They returned to Kaede's hut and found Miroku and Shippou eating. They took the bowls that Kaede handed them and sat quietly and ate. After supper they laid down and it didn't take long for everyone to fall asleep.

Inuyasha made it to the village just after dark. Everything was quiet. He walked to the hut. He could smell Kagome and everyone else inside. He knew they were asleep. He really didn't want to bother them now. He could wait till morning. He ran to the Goshinbuko tree and jumped to the highest branches. He would rest here tonight. He caught a movement out of the corner of his eye. He saw one of Kikyou's soul collectors flying deeper into the forest. I can always rest later. He jumped down and ran after the thing. It didn't take him long to find Kikyou. "Hi Kikyou. I didn't expect you back in this area for a few days. Is anything wrong."

Kikyou smiled when Inuyasha joined her. She liked the face that he came to her when ever she was near. He may think he loved her reincarnation but it was truly her that he loved. She hoped that he would realize that one day soon. Then she could drag him to hell with her. "I saw you leave the village this morning. I thought you would be gone. Did you go after another shard?"

"No we went to find my brother. Kagome had to ask him a question." He walked up to Kikyou and took her into his arms.

"You faced that dangerous lord just because my reincarnation had to ask him a question. You could have been killed." Kikyou was angry at him for that. If he died at his brothers hands she couldn't drag him to hell with her.

"Sesshoumaru didn't hurt me. It was me who almost hurt him and Kagome. But a friend of Kagome's helped us all out and saved us all." He pulled Kikyou closer to him and lowered his mouth to hers. When Kikyou started to kiss him back he forgot about everything else. It felt good just to hold her close to him again. He didn't care that she wasn't completely whole. It was who she was now and he loved her regardless of that. He broke the kiss off and looked into her lovely eyes. "I love you Kikyou."

"What about my reincarnation? I thought you loved her also?" Kikyou watched his face closely. She wanted to see him lie to her.

"I love only you Kikyou. I thought that I loved Kagome because when I looked at her I saw only you. I know that you are two completely different people now and I came to realize that it was only you that I loved. I will always care about Kagome but I love you and only you." Inuyasha lowered them both to the ground and brought his mouth back down to hers.

Kikyou couldn't believe what Inuyasha just told her. He truly loved her. After all the things she had done he still loved her. Not Kagome but her. Maybe she could drag him to hell with her now. "Does this mean you are ready to join me in hell Inuyasha?"

"Kikyou, you know that I can't do that until Naraku is defeated first. When that happens then I will let you take me to hell with you." Inuyasha had enough talking for now. He started removing Kikyou's and his clothing. This night is going to be better than I thought it was. He didn't think any more for the rest of the night. He finally fell asleep with Kikyou held tightly in his arms.

Sesshoumaru watched his brother and the dead miko from high above them and a little distance away. He didn't want Inuyasha or the miko to sense him. How could he do that with her. He could smell the scent of decay from where he was. Well he should be busy for the rest of the night. He wouldn't bother Kagome now I can return home. He called his cloud and headed for his castle.
