To Live Again

Hey everyone! Thanks to all of you who read the new chapter, and liked it. I am sorry about the evil cliffy. But to be fair I will probably have more in the future. I¡¦m putting them up as fast as I can, and as long as inspiration strikes me. It does happen at weird moments, like at work while I¡¦m busy helping someone. I now take a notebook to work with me so that I can write down new ideas or chapters. The secret person is revealed in the beginning, so it¡¦s kind of easy to figure out. Nobody guessed who it was! That¡¦s so mean! Okay so on with the story.

Chapter 2: The Guide and Instructions

Last time:
" So," Yusuke started "what is this thing she wants most in the world?"
"Me." Came a voice from the shadows.

Now:

Everyone jumped at least a foot in the air and spun around, except for Hiei...he just looked indignant.
" Holy Shit! Who the flying fuck are you and where the hell did you come from?!!!!" Yusuke hollered clutching his chest like he was having a heart attack.
Standing before the detectives was a young fox child with red hair and green eyes with a hint of mischief, gleaming behind a devil may care attitude.
" I," said the fox. ¡§am your ticket to finding Kagome. And I walked through the wall that¡¦s were I came from. It¡¦s quite easy to do when you are dead."
"Well young fox, I am Kurama, also known as Youko Kurama."
"Wow, you are the most famous thief in the three worlds. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Shippo Higurashi, Kagome's adopted son, and the only way to get to her. Apparently Sesshomaru used momma's feelings of guilt of not being able to protect me as the trigger for her reawakening. She will feel my presence but not know I'm there. So I have a few rules you need to follow..."
"Hold on short shit, who left you in charge?" Yusuke asked smartly.( A/N I think that came out wrong...He is being a smart ass, not smart)
Shippo just turned his back on the punk and said, " Any who......you guys need to stick close, if she has already awoken due to someone trying to bust in then she will be highly dangerous.."
"It¡¦s just a chick no big I can take her." Yusuke said cockily
" Man that¡¦s not right you can't fight a girl its against my code" said Kuwabara
Yusuke and Kuwabara start bickering once again so Shippo turns to Kurama and Hiei and with the permission of Koenma continued with his instructions.
" There are several traps set so if I get a little behind you might want to wait. There is also the problem that mom might not see me right away and because she doesn't know the requirements of the spell she will think you are trying to kill her while she sleeps so be prepared for a fight. And don¡¦t; underestimate her under any circumstances. It could and most likely would mean your death. She may be tiny but she packs quite a punch. I think that is all Koenma, they are ready
and the mountain is close by so we should leave in the morning to take the traps on in the light hours."
"Thank you Shippo, I am sorry that we can not give you a corporeal body but because your soul isn't ready to be recycled and you are still too young to know that magic then you can only be used as a buffer on this trip." Koenma says sadly.
" Its ok, momma will be happy to see me whether I have a body or not. You guys should head home and get some rest. It is going to be a really long day tomorrow."
" Thank you Shippo for your assistance in this matter and I personally can't wait to meet your mother." Kurama said smoothly.
Kurama and Hiei left while Yusuke and Kuwabara were still bickering.
* So Red, which of the idiots do you think will trip the first trap? I'm going for Yusuke because he is just too cocky.*
& Youko I am not going to make a bet on who is going to get us into trouble. &
$ I'm with the fox, the detective is going to the first one to trip a trap but the idiot will trip the most.$
& You two are incorrigible. I am going to bed. Goodnight. &
$Hn.....night.$
With that Hiei jumped out the window to sit and doze in a tree ( does Hiei doze?).
* The kit really cares for her....... (Insert perverted grin) I hope we dream of her again, but in a slightly more rigorous activity.*
&Go to sleep Youko. We need it. &
As they went into a semi-restful sleep, Shippo snuck into Kurama's room.
¡¥You and Hiei will do fine. You both will bring her back from the brink. But you won't have it easy. She won't love again till she thinks she is ready. And that may take forever in her eyes.'

Several miles away, in a house set in a valley, you can see glowing red eyes...'It is time my little Miko, to pay you back. But your punishment won't be death....Oh no not at all. I want you to suffer. Then when your mind finally collapses' (insert dark chuckle) you will be my play thing for all eternity.

I realized in the chapter about the battle, I didn't mention Kilala. But I did
mention that four of the good guys died. So you will learn who died and who really lives in the next chapter. Hope to get more reviews from you guys and I thank those who already have.....you rock solid. Remember most of these chapters I have already written I am just going through them and tweaking them as I go, and making them better, hopefully. Much love and have a good safe day.
