A/N Higurashi-san is Mrs. H and Miss Higurashi is Kagome: Sess (san) and papa (Mr)
I do the same thing with my clock that I’m having Kagome do, I’m not a day person. There will be links at the end to show you what some of the items (they will be in bold) look like, I‘m to lazy to describe them.

Finally tired of trying to find her alarm clock Kagome got up. Looking around she saw it on the other side of her room. “Stupid morning….. I hate getting up a 6.…” yawning she crossed her room. As she got ready for the day she started to think of what happened the day before. She had been dreaming, Kagome decided. There was no way that she had seen them yesterday, nope, none, zilch, zadda!!! But she knew that wasn’t the case, it was real, they were there and for a moment she wondered why her? Sure she had a crush on him at one point, and yea they could work together but… this was just messed up.
~~~Yesterday~~~
The Doctor explained the results of her test then asked them to wait while he got Kagome's intended.
As the Doctor left Mrs. H watched as her kids teased each other, most parents would think to stop this but Mrs. H knew neither meant what was said and her kids knew that too. This was just they’re way of getting rid of some stress, each was afraid to lose the other as they had their grandmother and their father. Soon however she heard the door start to open and turned to look almost losing her composure.
There in the doorway stood her husbands old friend Toga. She had not seen him in 2yrs, mainly because he lived on the other side of town and was rarely home. “Toga-San how nice it see you.” Mrs. H said while laughing at her kids actions. The Minute Kagome and Souta had seen him they jumped up and hugged him with all their might right after the cry of “Inu-Papa!!!”
After steadying himself for the sudden hug attack, Toga laughed and hug the two back as he greeted his friends wife. He was extremely happy he and Sesshoumaru had been right to guess the girl he would mate with was Kagome. Even when she was a little girl she had been the sweetest thing, yet even he was wary of her was she got mad.
Sesshoumaru smirked as his father nearly toppled over from 2 ningen’s and seeing the Dr.’s jaw fall to the floor. Toga, while not cruel on a normal bases, he was someone who was to be feared and/or respected depending on who you are. To those that broke the law he could became one of the cruelest beings, but to others he was just shy of being impassive. Yet to his own kids. the Higurashi’s and a few trusted friends he was open and kind, well most of the time. Sesshoumaru almost cringed as he remembered the last time his father was angry at him.
Sesshoumaru turned his attention to the girl who just started to yell at his father. He had as hard time trying to keep from laughing as his father tried his best to clam her down while trying not to seem scared. Apparently she didn’t like the fact he was working so much he couldn’t come and visit. He looked ‘Kagome’ over and started to think about all he knew of her which considering he’s known her her whole life was a lot. She had always been a pretty little thing with a temperament to match. He had always, even as children, thought she would be a good mother as she was always taking care of those around her. She was loyal, kind, spirited, and had a rare beauty even the coldest male could not ignore. She was not a supermodel by any means, but had a quality about her that made others pale in comparison. Most he knew thought, that even with who his father was, that he was a ningen hater. This was not true he just didn’t know many and most of the ones he did know were through his fathers company and they were more like parasites then anything, he like his father liked the Higurashi’s. Thankfully they knew that as Kagome turned her sights on him.
“And what’s your excuse for not visiting?! Yasha I could understand but you.” Kagome huffed. Yasha was inconsiderate when it came to most people and was of the thought everyone should go to him, even if they had no way. Sesshoumaru was different even thou he held no real liking to humans the same applied to youkai as well, it was just that most didn’t know.
“I apologies Kagome. I was busy with finishing high school and college courses.” Sesshoumaru gave her a small bow knowing it would be the fastest way to get her good side back, since he rarely bowed to anyone. “I’ll forgive you when I get my hug.” Sess could see the Dr. gaping at what was going on, and the amusement of the others in the room. Beside the Dr. all in the room knew he’d cave in, he always did when it came to her. Truth was they all did it was just easier that way, she is just that scary when mad.
After seeing Sesshoumaru hug the girl the Dr. finally got his wits back and cleared his throat to get their attention. He was still in somewhat a shock the boy could be so nice to someone, he was normally indifferent to most and to those that saw something besides indifference… well they were never around. Even when talking to his father the Dr. had seen the indifference. The girl had him showing emotion. ‘Damn who knew miracles were real. This is a good sign they wont have to face the problems others do if they already get along.’ If the Dr. only knew what was to come.
“As you already know each other I wont bother with the introductions. Miss Higurashi and Tashio-san are to be paired. As Miss Higurashi is not yet out of school you will need her mothers signature to clam her into your house if both parties wish for this to happen now.” The Dr. placed a paper on the desk in front of Mrs. H. Holding up a hand he stopped the comments he knew were coming as he heard them several times a day for nearly a year when he started. “However you can decide to wait till Miss Higurashi is 20 for the two to be mated. Or make any arrangement that pleases both parties as long as the two are mated before Miss Higurashi turns 21. The paper I have placed before you needs to be signed and recorded at the DYM(Department of Youkai Mating), as Tashio-san is youkai, before her 21 birthday. We no longer require it to be done immediately. The is a large fined and jail time if not done in time. If you need longer for whatever reason go to the DYM and the time can be extended by 5 years.” The Dr. explained.
Kagome was still half in shock she was to be mated to Sesshoumaru. She almost miss what the Dr. was saying. She was no longer worried about being forced from her family, even before the Dr. said Sess was her mate, Inu-papa was all for family and she could get Sess to let her see them easily, all she would have to do is pout and go all teary eyed. All the Tashio males hated to make females, at least the ones the ones the cared for, cry.
Kagome sat in silence as both parents filled out the remaining paperwork stating the she and Sess had finished their ‘Testing’. Mrs. H knowing they would all need to talk suggested that they get together this weekend to plan out everything. After getting an agreement, time, and place Kagome hugged both Sess and papa and followed her family out.
The Dr. visit had taken most of the day and with as little sleep as Kagome had been getting she decided to take a bath and go to bed. Saying good night to her family Mrs. H hugged her daughter and whispered in her ear “Everything will be fine or we‘ll sic Grandpa on em‘.” Kagome smiled at the thought of the running inu youkai and ultra sticky sutra’s. Smiling at her mother she nodded and headed upstairs grateful that her mother always knew just what to do.
~~~Today~~~ A/N We know the school clothes right? I don’t need to tell you what they look like right?
“Kagome Hurry up or you’ll be late for school!” Kagome looked at the clock and sighed, she really didn’t want to go today. “Coming mama!” Before she left the room Kagome walked over to her desk and opened the bottom drawer and pulled out a small ornate chest. Using the key she had taped behind her mirror she opened it and looked upon her treasures with a smile. Setting aside her favorite pictures of friends and family she looked through the trinkets. Bracelets, necklaces, rings, and pins. Some were badly made barely held together, it was easy to tell that they had been made by young children. Some where elegant and were very expensive, not that Kagome cared about that. Many more things layed in the chest, all special gifts given to her by her loved ones.
Hearing her mom call for her again Kagome pulled out a white gold necklace. It was a gift Sesshoumaru had given her for her 16th birthday, it was a round byzantine chain. She looked at the crescent blue moon and star pendent that dangled at her collarbone. Smiling she ran down stair said a quick morning, cause lets face you say good morning the day goes bad, and a quicker goodbye she was out the door off to the dreaded school and her make up math test.
