Still two weeks before Sesshoumaru and Kagome’s first meeting.
After the talk with Sesshoumaru, Lord Toga retired to his bedroom for some much needed rest, however, rest was not to find him tonight. That is, until his beast had his say.
‘I wonder if our son has read the history scrolls of our TRUE MATE CALL in mating?’ ‘I have instructed him in his education in the history of the Inu ways.’
‘Are we sure that our pup truly realizes the difference of the true mating that will come upon him when he fines his TRUE MATE. The difference between a rutting of a stray loose female and his TRUE MATE. The actual first mating will be the pupping of the female in the truest of inu-youkia form. How Inu go from our physical human form to our truest beast form while mating by turning into the actual lock position to release a formed knot for several hours only for the basic instinct of first pupping. Only then, after the knot has past, shall we turn back into our human/demonic forms to continue on with the mating process to the exchanging and placing our marks on each other?’ Does our Sesshoumaru understand that several different generations of pupping has to be done this way to insure that several pure blood pups will have to exist if something should happen to one of the offspring, because, only one will be conceived at a time like this in this mating ritual? ‘ Although, this is as close as to the truest blood as it can possible get, we do not do as our ancestors did in mating close in the family as first cousins and some even closer. Sesshoumaru’s mother and I were second cousins, but that was so, so, long ago. Kagome and Sessoumaru are distant cousins, maybe, seventh or eighth. Nevertheless, the blood is still Inu blood, just either dark hair or white hair. Kagome’s parents were fifth cousins and they were TRUE MATES just as Sesshoumaru’s mother and I were.
Inuyasha’s was born from’‘I know why Inuyasha is hanyou, you need not remind us of the death of our TRUE MATE Kara, Sesshoumaru's mother by that murderous demon that raided the village when she was on a goodwill visit to aid the rebuilding. We did not arrive in time for our life sword to save her. Yet, we did track him down and kill him! Do not sadden us by her memory tonight.’
‘I am thankful , even though Izayoi could not be another TRUE MATE, there can be only one, she was another love of my life.’
‘Inuyasha’s mother was a good woman and she died a hero’s death protecting Inuyasha while we were away at war from those coward idiots that she had called family that could not understand love of a mixed raced marriage. We seen to their demised.’ ‘Yes we did.’
‘I just am concern if Sesshoumaru truly read and really comprehends the conversion and what takes place. So much depends on his understanding! His very TRUE MATE could lose her life if she does not transform! Even if he finds his TRUE MATE and takes her from just being able to smell and track her. Sesshomaru, would do what only naturally could be consider as Inu mating, at that time and moment! If he does not understand and command his TRUE MATE to submit and change to her true inu form, she will die!! Have you made sure he has read and comprehends the difference?’
‘Yes, but, I will remind him beast, do not get so worry. Sesshoumaru has not even met Kagome and will not meet her for another few weeks. I don’t even know if she is his TRUE MATE, but, I will remind him when he comes back from his patrol to review the scrolls on mating, does this satisfy you?’
‘Well, we will not see him until he gets back in two weeks, but we must remind him, I just hope he paid attention. Sesshoumaru is very astute in his education, I am sure there is nothing to get concerned with.’ ‘We must rest, go night my friend.’
