A Royal Pain

Inuyasha felt the change begin as the beautiful pink and blue sunset faded into darkness. It was the night of the new moon and it was time once again for his change from hanyou to human.

Kagome watched as her husband’s long silvery hair became black as night as he sat by the doorway watching for any signs of danger.

Even with Naraku gone, Inuyasha was still on edge about his human nights. If they were lucky, sometimes Koga would bring his packs down from the mountains to watch over the village for all the times Inuyasha had helped save them. A demon never forgot their promises and in the night he could hear Koga’s wolves howling in the dark making certain that all was well.

“Is that Koga’s packs?”

Kagome asked as she lay down in their futon watching her husband knowing Inuyasha never slept on his human night.

“Ya. I think they are circling again. They seem a bit restless.”

Inuyasha stated softly.

“Do you think perhaps they sense a demon?”

Inuyasha smiled.

“If they do the demon will die. Koga’s packs are strong enough to kill lower demons. It is either that there is a lower demon around or my brother is lurking about still. His scent is pretty prominent in the area, but that could be just because he was bathing in the hot springs. His scent usually dissipates after a few hours. I can’t really smell him anymore, but as a human we can still feel his demonic aura.”

Kagome sighed.

“I wish he would find himself a new hobby or something. Why is it now he wants us to pay him back? It has been five years since the battle with Naraku. Why didn’t he say something back then?”

Inuyasha frowned.

“Demons do not forget what is owed them or who they owe. Just because it seems like five years ago was a long time, to a demon five years is nothing. In fact I wouldn’t have been surprised if he had taken care of all these loose ends ten years from now. I think this is his way of getting back at me for all the times I pissed him off.”

Kagome felt very afraid. What would Sesshoumaru request of them next? Would he make them do something horrible or would he make them his slaves? There were just so many bad thoughts that Kagome could imagine the Lord of the West forcing them to do and the guy was cold as ice so to him they were merely a blink of the eye. They would be useful to him for a time and then die before him. It was just inevitable.

“What do you mean when you said bathing Sesshoumaru was not a big deal? I felt like I was cheating on you with him when he made me look at him while he was naked. I was so afraid he was going to rape us.”

Inuyasha looked down at the ground. Kagome’s feelings about that incident made him feel ten feet tall since she was thinking of him the whole time.

“Sesshoumaru is above raping people Kagome and you were not cheating on me. I don’t really know how to explain this, but my Mother taught me some things about Lords. Now, I don’t know everything, but I do know that Lords can make certain demands upon the subjects of their lands and although I am also a Lord I am the younger brother to the heir of the Inu throne.’
“Even if I don’t like it Sesshoumaru holds certain powers over me and my decisions are reflected of his leadership so if I do anything to insult his laws I am basically performing mutiny and labeled as a traitor a punishment that condones Sesshoumaru to put me to death.’
“What he did to you and Sango was not that big of a deal since he didn’t request for you to do things like forcing you to give up your virginity for him. He could make you do that and I would be powerless to stop him, but I know I would make his life even more of a living hell if he did.’
“There are certain rules that have to be followed even for simple things like giving him a bath. I don’t know all of them, but what I do know was that he did not hurt you or Sango so there really is no reason for me to pick a fight with him about it.”

Kagome looked horrified at that.

“So you are saying if you refuse to follow his ways of doing things he can kill you or force himself upon me?”

Inuyasha laughed a bit.

“Do you think he hasn’t tried to kill me? I am always doing things to piss Sesshoumaru off, which is one of the perks of being his younger sibling. He doesn’t have to acknowledge me as a brother though so he can just use me as one of his more bothersome subjects. Then he can either protect me or kill me at his leisure.’
“So far he has put my life in his hands which means whatever I do, no one can kill me except for him. It is the Lord’s way of saying I accept you as a brother without losing face and without acknowledging our relationship to others so that our family is not shamed anymore.”

Kagome shook her head. None of this made sense. How could Inuyasha be considered to be a brother to a man who acknowledged their relations, but at the same time ignored them?

“I don’t understand how you cannot just say you both are brothers. Isn’t it easier to just say it and get past all this other nonsense?”

Inuyasha smiled a bit, but it wasn’t a smile that lit his eyes. It was a dark smile that made him look a bit sad.

“Politics are not that easy to understand Kagome. There is a lot of stuff involved in being a Lord and trying to be something more than just a man in these times. You can’t be just a man when you are a Lord.’
“If I was invited back to my brother’s castle, if he even has one, I would have to conform to his way of thinking. But out here I can just be a man. I can allow Miroku or another male to be the leader of this village. Being just another man here makes me happy and there is a lot of freedom for me in that. If I go back with Sesshoumaru I will have to behave as a Lord and I don’t want to do that. He can keep that fucking title for all I care.”

That still didn’t answer her question on what Sesshoumaru would do if she refused to bathe him or whatever else he might try to do.

“I am glad of that Inuyasha. I am glad that you are able to be just a normal man. Still, that doesn’t answer if Sesshoumaru would force himself on me and Sango. Can a Lord do that?”

Inuyasha sighed. He hated having to tell Kagome about this especially since they had yet to consummate their marriage. It would indeed be very easy for Sesshoumaru to demand Kagome’s virginity if something didn’t change soon.

“As far as forcing himself on you, Sesshoumaru won’t do that even if he could. He is very vain and would assume it would be an honor for you to have sex with him especially considering you are a human. If you said no, he might persuade you in other ways, but he isn’t used to people saying no to him so you have to be careful.’
“If you do say no just know Sesshoumaru will probably be pissed and tell you to leave him. He might even denounce you as his sister in law. That would of course be the most lenient way of doing things. If not he would attempt to either show you the error of your ways or he might just take Sango in your place. Either way he will get what he wanted.”

Kagome thought about Sango and what would happen if she took her place. Kagome couldn’t let that happen. She would sacrifice herself first before anyone got hurt even if it did hurt her in the end. However, being denounced as Sesshoumaru’s sister in law wasn’t that bad. She could live with that.

“I don’t mind being denounced Inuyasha. As long as I can be with you I am happy.”

Inuyasha smiled and pulled Kagome into his arms.

“I love you Kagome.”

Kagome kissed her husband as he moved away from the door and proceeded to plunder those sweet lips of his wife.

“Kagome, I want to try again. Do you think you can be patient with me?”

Kagome smiled at her husband and held his hand.

“Yes. I want to do this too.”

Inuyasha carefully removed all of his clothing and then went over to his wife and helped her remove hers.

It was so dark in their hut that Inuyasha couldn’t see his wife very well, but he could feel her. His hands went immediately to her full breasts. Inuyasha had no idea why he had this obsession with her boobs, but he wanted to touch them all the time. Just having the privilege of touching his wife’s naked skin made him hard as a rock.

Leaning down he found his wife’s lips and kissed her deeply allowing his tongue to join with hers.

“I know this is supposed to hurt you, but if we are to do anything more I have to do it…..”

Kagome put a finger to her beloved’s lips.

“I know…..it is ok.”

Soon Inuyasha felt her warm wet core. Sliding a single digit into her womanly folds he felt Kagome lift her hips a bit.

Inuyasha grinned a bit at Kagome when he found that little button of pleasure and kept pressure on it as he used his thumb and slowly pushed a finger inside of his wife realizing she was almost too tight for even that.

Smelling her sweet scent Inuyasha wanted to try something new so he put his head in between her legs and then licked once causing this beautiful sound to come out of his Kagome.

“You like that Kagome?”

Inuyasha asked softly as Kagome moaned out a yes which made him want to continue as he lapped at her wet warm nether regions placing a second finger inside of his beloved mate.

Kagome was in rapture, she didn’t want Inuyasha to stop.

“Inuyasha I need……….I need……..”

Kagome whimpered out.

Inuyasha understood and placed his hard member against that tight hole. Pushing himself gently into her he was only able to push the head of his hard cock in before he suddenly came with a grunt. It was all over in a matter of milliseconds.

Still he didn’t want to stop, but Inuyasha felt his member soften.

“Kagome……..I am sorry.”

Kagome sighed and although frustrated she understood.

“It is ok Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha wanted to weep. It was so totally unfair.

“I am going to take a walk.”

Inuyasha muttered as he pulled on his hakumas leaving his underclothing and haori behind.

Sesshoumaru had watched the whole scene play out and was on the ground laughing harder than he had in his entire life. He actually found himself snorting a bit.

If anyone could see the High and Mighty Lord Sesshoumaru they wouldn’t believe it.

Koga soon came onto the area where Sesshoumaru was laughing. Looking at the diayouki on the ground laughing his ass off Koga wondered if the demon Lord was under a spell.

“So you are the one that is upsetting my wolves. Aren’t you Inuyasha’s brother?”

Sesshoumaru tried hard to keep a serious face, but it wasn’t working very well.

“I have no ties to Inuyasha. I have not claimed him as a brother.”

Koga frowned.

“I see. Then why are you here?”

Sesshoumaru frowned a bit. He didn’t like this wolf asking him questions. It was none of his business why he was here.

“That is not your concern wolf.”

Koga shrugged and started to walk away. Sesshoumaru frowned at the wolf as Koga took off. That wolf owed him too, but that was for another day. Now that Inuyasha was alone he could do what he pleased.

Watching his little brother curse himself would have been amusing too if Lord Sesshoumaru had not been so rudely interrupted. Deciding it was time to get his errant brother Sesshoumaru flew out of the woods in seconds flat, grabbed his little brother and took off into the forest before anyone could do anything about it.
