Back at Sesshomaru fathers house Izayoi walked down a large stair case over to the two men sitting in the living room both of them on couches facing each other.
Inu Taisho turned to her “how is she doing.”
“She has cried herself to sleep it will be good for her to escape this world for a little while” Izayoi said sitting down next to her husband.
Inu Taisho took in a deep breath and looked at his son.
“Do you remember the promise you made her father?” Inu Taisho asked
“Yeah but you cant be seriously thinking about that I mean the school wont go for it I could lose my job not to mention it could come between the treaty with the south.” Sesshomaru looked at his father.
“You gave him your word that if anything ever happened you would take care of her Sesshomaru and I will deal with the treaty I will talk to the lord of the south maybe I can convince him that her living with you wont effect anything.” Inu Taisho said
“Why cant she live here I mean she is closer to the mutt anyways they are practically brother and sister not to mention besides the miko she is the only one who can keep him in cheek” Sesshomaru said
“Because Sesshomaru we have no more room with InuYasha and Rin Me and Izayoi there just isn’t anymore room we would have to move back to the castle. Plus it is important that we keep her safe no one would suspect he to live with you considering you are her teacher and you are to be mated with the Daughter of the Lord of the south.” Inu Taisho said getting frustrated with his son.
“Why is she so precious to you father what is so important about her, she can hardly be considered a demon she is more or less and human, not to mention she is Disrespectful she doesn’t know how to hold her tongue she speaks her mind to much, and the way she moves like some…some…nymph or something she is a tease” Sesshomaru began to rant

“Because Sesshomaru she is HER she is the moon maiden and her powers are starting to unseal themselves which means something is going to happen soon.” Inu Taisho began to explain
“Wait but the moon maiden is suppose to be born into the royal family” Sesshomaru said
“That was the case in the past but I guess she chose someone else this time she chose Anaminé and now since her parents are dead I’m sure people will be after her wanting her dead or wanting her for her power so it the reasonability now falls on me and you to keep her protected and safe. The chain of events starts with the death of her parents I do not know when her powers will break free but untill then we must keep a eye on her.” Inu Taisho said
Sesshomaru knew he wasn’t going to be able to get out of her staying at his house.
“We will allow her to stay here for a few days untill after the burial then she will move in with you I will handle stuff concerning the school.” Inu Taisho said
Sesshomaru nodded and sighed he stood up and headed to the kitchen he needed something to drink.
Inu Yasha busted threw the door stomping into the living room as soon as he came threw the door he could smell Anaminé, tears and Sesshomaru. He stood in front of his father.
“What the hell happened to Anaminé and why did she leave school with Sesshomaru?!” Inu Yasha demanded
Izayoi smiled at her son “Welcome home Inu Yasha I assume you had a bad day today?”
“I did not leave with her mutt she left and I simply followed” Sesshomaru said sitting down with a glass of whine.
“Inu Yasha you should sit down befor I explain” Inu Taisho said calmly
Inu Yasha sat down his father was normally calm and collected much like Sesshomaru but tick him off and it was like all hell broke lose.
“Today Anaminé’s parents where in a bad car accident, while out doing errands. she got the news of the accident while she was in her third period class with Sesshomaru’s class being next door to hers he heard the commotion and came out to see what was happening and finally got them to tell her where her parents where and she ran out of the school Sesshomaru called me and we all headed to the hospital. When she got there her mother was already dead and her father soon followed. It doesn’t matter if they could of saved him because due to a extra mating ritual that demons can perform if one of them died the other would soon follow it was just fortunate that her father could hear her one last time.” Inu Taisho explained to his youngest sun.
Inu Yasha looked down he couldn’t believe Anaminé’s father died the man seems invincible he thought nothing would be able to take that man down.
“Where is she?” Inu Yahsa asked softly
“She is sleeping right now in your room I figured she would be more comfortable there.” Izayoi said looking at her son.

“Since she is not 18 yet and not a legal adult she will be living with Sesshomaru at lest untill she is 18 then she can decide if she wishes to move back to her own house or stay with Sesshomaru or even get a small apartment of her own. Due to demon ways everything that was her parents is now hers and she has authority over it even if she is not a legal adult yet. So she will not have to worry about money or a house, but due to her not being 18 she can not live on her own.” Inu Taisho said he wasn’t going to tell his son about her being the moon maiden, he knew then that he would either blab it to her or attack every person that approached her.
“WHAT?! She is going to live with HIM!” Inu Yasha said pointing to his older half brother who was casually taking a sip of his whine.
“Do not point mutt it’s rude” Sesshomaru spoke coolly.
“Yes it was determined back when you guys where young that if anything happened to her parents that Sesshomaru would take care of her untill she was of age then she would be free to do as she wished” Inu Taisho informed him.

With that said Inu Yasha headed up stairs just as he began to head up stars a small girl of the age of 8 came busting into the door.
“SESSHY!” The little girl squealed as she ran to Sesshomaru and threw her arms around him almost making him spill his whine. Sesshomaru almost nearly cringed at the name his young adopted sister called him. He patted her head as she hugged him.
“Rin please befor you make me spill whine on you” Sesshomaru spoke smoothly.
“Oh sorry” Rin said and pulled away and turned to her parents
“Papa, mama, guess what?” Rin said with a big smile
“What is it darling?” Inu Taisho asked with a smile.
Rin pulled out a piece of paper and held it out “I got the highest score on my vocabulary test”
“That is just wonderful isn’t it darling” Izayoi beamed.
Inu Taisho nodded “I think that calls for ice cream after dinner why don’t we make it a family trip Sesshomaru will come as well along with Anaminé”
“Anaminé onee-san is here to where is she?” Rin’s eyes lit up
“She is sleeping Rin Anaminé probably wont want to talk to much her mama and papa died today” Izayoi said taking the young girl in her arms.
“So Anaminé onee-san is a orphan like I was now?” Rin asked
“Yes she is so we have to be extra nice to her okay” Izayoi said looking into her adopted daughter’s eyes.
“Then you and papa can adopt her like you did me then she really will be my onee-san” Rin said with a smile
“No sweet heart we cant but she will be staying with Sesshomaru untill she is old enough to live on her own so she wont be moving away so I’m sure you will see her just as much as you use to maybe more” Izayoi explained to her daughter.
“Okay Mama do you think if I drew her a picture she would be happy again.” Rin asked
“I’m sure it would help and I’m sure she would love it” Inu Taisho said with a smile.
Rin smiled and raced up to her room to start on a picture for Anaminé.
Anaminé laid in Inu Yasha’s bed asleep dreaming.
She walked threw a field filled with moon lilies the field seemed familiar but she didn’t know how. She kept following the sound of someone calling her name. She came to lovely ethereal girl in a flowing kimonoish dress and long white hair and blue eyes. The girl looked a lot like her but on her forehead she bore a royal blue crescent moon like Sesshomaru that was surrounded buy a white circle and under her eyes she had two slashes of baby blue like her fathers.
“Anaminé I have waited a long time for you” The girl spoke
Anaminé stayed a few feet away from the girl as she looked at her confused “what do you mean…I don’t know you” Anaminé said
“You don’t know me but I know all about you I have been with you since you where nothing more than a tiny baby in your mothers womb….” The girl began but then a strong wind came with a loud roar the girls threw their arms up to shield their eyes for the sand that was blowing.
“Anaminé I’m sorry I can’t explain right now but please know that trouble is coming be careful in who you trust. We will meet again I promise!!!” The girl called as began to disappear.
Inu Yasha peeked into his room and saw Anaminé laying down on his bed his room was filled with the scent of tears. He walked in and over to her. Some of her hair had come out of the pony tail that she wore causing her to have a strand of hair draped over her cheek and stuck to the corner of her mouth as streaks painted her face that showed where her tears rolled down her face.
Inu Yasha gently moved the strand out of her face and left the room pulling out his cell phone and keys. He walked out of his parent’s house and got into his car sending a text out to everyone in their group.
The text read ‘Man down emergency meeting at the park’
Inu Yasha got into his car and headed to the park. When he got there Kouga, Sango, Miroku, and Hiten where already there.
“Hey mutt face what with this man down shit?” Kouga asked

Once everyone had arrived except Suikotsu due to him still being on his shift and him already knowing that Anaminé’s parents where dead Inu Yasha went into detail.
“Oh Hell No! No baby girl of mine is going to live with that heartless bastard!” Jakotsu Exclaimed
“Not to mention it’s putting your father’s treaty in danger if they find out about her living with him” Kouga said sitting on a bench of a picnic table with his arms crossed.
“We have to find a way to keep her from moving in with him. She could stay with you couldn’t she Kouga you’re the head of you pack what you say goes.” Bankotsu said
Kouga shook his head “I would be more than happy to but there is no fighting this, it was determined when she was a young girl I hate it as much as mutt face dose but we cant fight this. All we can do is sit back watch over her and be there for her if she needs us.” Kouga said
Hiten sighed “Of all people why her and why now? The school year is almost over and we had one more year left untill we all graduated except for Bankotsu’s two brothers, and now her parents wont be there to see it.”

“Well I better head back befor my pops raises hell because I’m not home for dinner. Sango, Miroku, Kagome, Kikyo, And Bankotsu along with your two brothers you guys wont be able to make it into the viewing due to demon law that will be strictly demons mainly of upper class such as tribe leaders, lords, and other generals. But ill keep you guys posted with funeral plans.” Inu Yasha said

Anaminé had woken up and stood on the stairs watching Izayoi help Rin with some homework and Inu Taisho read the paper much like her father use to. “Thank you Anaminé I drew you something.” Rin stood up picking up a piece of paper that sat next to her and began walk to her as Anaminé came the rest of the way down the steps. Anaminé smiled and knelt down and gave Rin a hug.
“Thank you Rin I’ll hang it up in my room” Anaminé said trying to force back tears

Anaminé walked threw the rows of flowers trying to keep her mind off her parent’s deaths. A warm breeze blew as she looked up from the coble stone walk path that she walked around and closed her eyes letting the wind brush her cheeks and run threw her hair. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around and saw Sesshomaru sitting under a tree with two swords sitting next to him She knew one of these swords very well one being tenesagia the very sword she begged Inu Taisho to use to bring her parents back. He seemed to be resting. Anaminé walked over to him as quietly as she could and slowly bent down to pick up the sword that she didn’t recognize. Just as she was about to unsheathe it she heard a snarl and because of reflexes she jumped back completely unsheathing and sword and standing in a fighting stance.
“You shouldn’t creepy up on a sleeping demon” Sesshomaru said stretching some and standing up and scoffed some.

Anaminé looked down at the sword remembering all the afternoons she spent after school training with her father. The group nodded and said their good byes going their separate ways.
Anaminé had woken up and stood on the stairs watching Izayoi help Rin with some homework and Inu Taisho read the paper much like her father use to. Inu Taisho and smelled her coming down the stairs and stop. Her folded his paper down and looked at her tears fighting to break free. He gave a sweet smile
“Did you enjoy your sleep Anaminé?” Inu Taisho asked
Anaminé averted eye contact and nodded “Yes thank you m’lord”
“Please Anaminé I have known you since you where born call me anything but m’lord.” Inu Taisho said with a smile
Anaminé looked up at him and nodded “yes Mr. Taisho”
“Anaminé me and Rin are almost done here then I’m going to start on dinner if you wish you can help me, then after dinner we are all going out for ice cream because Rin got the highest score in her class on her vocab test” Izayoi said with a smile
Anaminé forced a smile towards the smiling girl that sat at the coffee table in front of her mother. “Congratulations Rin”
“Thank you Anaminé I drew you something.” Rin stood up picking up a piece of paper that sat next to her and began walk to her as Anaminé came the rest of the way down the steps. Rin held up the piece of paper and gave it to Anaminé. Anaminé looked at it, it was a child’s drawing of a girl in a field of flowers with her friends and it said ‘we are always here’. Anaminé smiled and knelt down and gave Rin a hug.
“Thank you Rin I’ll hang it up in my room” Anaminé said trying to force back tears
Rin hugged her back and smiled.
Anaminé pulled back some “you better go finish your homework so you don’t have to finish after dinner”
Rin nodded and ran back to her spot at coffee table.
“Um Mr. Taisho could I go for a walk in your garden out back.” Anaminé asked
“Sure” Inu Taisho said
Anaminé stood up and walked to the large back yard that harbored a garden just at the bottom of the stone steps of their large back patio that was on the other side of a pair of double French glass doors. Anaminé walked threw the rows of flowers trying to keep her mind off her parent’s deaths. A warm breeze blew as she looked up from the coble stone walk path that she walked around and closed her eyes letting the wind brush her cheeks and run threw her hair. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around and saw Sesshomaru sitting under a tree with two swords sitting next to him She knew one of these swords very well one being tenesagia the very sword she begged Inu Taisho to use to bring her parents back. He seemed to be resting. Anaminé walked over to him as quietly as she could and slowly bent down to pick up the sword that she didn’t recognize. Just as she was about to unsheathe it she heard a snarl and because of reflexes she jumped back completely unsheathing and sword and standing in a fighting stance.
“You shouldn’t creepy up on a sleeping demon” Sesshomaru said stretching some and standing up and scoffed some.
“And you can lower that now” Sesshomaru said
Anaminé lowered the sword stood up straight “like you didn’t smell me coming Sesshomaru come on”
“You came from down wind and that’s why I did not smell you untill you had my sword so now give it back.” Sesshomaru said
Anaminé looked down at the sword remembering all the afternoons she spent after school training with her father. Her father was one of the strongest and one of the most feared generals in all of Japan and was known for his sword fighting. From a young age she promised him she would become as great a swords master as he was, that it would make up for her lack of demonic powers. She was always trying to make her parents proud thinking that they where ashamed of having such a weak daughter even though they did nothing but show how much they loved her. Tears began to form in her eyes once again as she looked at the sword.
“Now your going to cry all I did was tell you to give me back my sword” Sesshomaru scoffed.
Anaminé squeezed her eyes shut and threw the sword at Sesshomaru’s feet.
“You know what Sesshomaru fuck you! You’re nothing more that a cold heartless bastard and I never want to see you again!” Anaminé Screamed and ran off
Claps came from behind Sesshomaru causing him to roll his eyes and sighed turning around facing his father.
“You really are a number Sesshomaru, Where did I go wrong with you?” Inu Taisho asked looking at his son.
“Where you went wrong with me you’re kidding right? Where do you think I get it from befor you knocked up that human wench you hated humans as much as I do and do not deny it father I can tell when you lie” Sesshomaru said angry at his fathers statement.
“Yes but unlike you I saw the error of my ways; you really should open your eye son. You would then realize that Anaminé is just like you when your mother died.” Inu Taisho said
“I was in no way shape of form was I like that weak runt” Sesshomaru said
Inu Tiasho’s eyes flashed red. “Watch what you call her my son she has more power than you can imagine, and you where just like her you where angry and hurt you lashed out at everyone so I guess in a way you where worse at lest she knows how to be kind and caring towards people that try to help her. Maybe her living with you will help you open your eyes and see things that you are so blind to now.”
Sesshomaru stood there watching his father beginning to walk away.
“Izayoi is starting dinner it will be done soon come inside clean up and be ready by time she is done” Inu Taisho said coolly.
