After the hungry little darlings had all been fed and put down to sleep Miroku hefted Inuyasha up and to his feet and led him to the nearby springs to wash off. The hanyou did not want to do anything but sleep, the old healer and his mate prompted him to take the chance while he could as he had five mouths to feed now.
The monk helped the him into the pond, getting in himself too and supporting Inuyasha against his chest.
Miroku kissed his neck tenderly as his hand worked in the knots on his shoulders.
“I love you so much,” the monk sighed into his ear happily.
Inuyasha moved his head lazily and enjoyed the soft kiss Miroku pressed onto his lips. “I can't believe we made them,” he said to Miroku, looking deep into his eyes.
“I cannot either, but they are ours...” Miroku murmured softly, caressing his cheek on his palm.
The hanyou smiled happily. “Our.. love you so much, Miroku...”
The monk kissed him languidly.
It was pleasant.
Inuyasha let Miroku wash him. It was intimate and a chance for them to centre themselves after the birth. They were now even more tightly linked than before.
The hanyou grimaced as the water stung on places and his muscles twinged. Miroku whispered comforting words to his ear as he came apart and together again in hi nimble hands.
Exhausted, Inuyasha fell asleep in the monks arms and was carried back to their hut to sleep before the next feeding. Watching over him and their sleeping babies, Miroku felt that his heart was full. And it was.
