meet the guarded
Chapter 2: Meeting the Guarded
Immediately after she was announced that she was a guardian angel, the four old people known as the Wise Lords of the Heaven’s Temple presented her the rules. They were really simple. She thought it was only a formality, she didn’t believe she would break any of them.
The Rules were easy to learn:
1. Always protect your guarded, night and day
2. Under any circumstance let yourself known by other mortals
3. If is necessary to show yourself to your guarded, be it by dreams. Not something else
4. Don’t get too attached to you guarded. Eventually you will have another one
5. Ones your guarded dies, your presence on earth will not be necessary until further notice.
That was it, very simple don’t they?
Afterwards they send her to earth. Her wings allow her to travel between worlds, and gave her powers she has yet to discover. And now here she was in a room painted completely in red, it was big with an extraordinary view, she was amazed with all the lights and annoyed by all the noises, this is what she wanted.
She hadn’t met her guarded, she wondered if it was a she or a he, how she could help to save thy soul. She was intrigued, for nothing she was known to be a curious girl.
“Yeah, I’ll be down in a sec” someone yelled outside the closed door.
She didn’t know why she felt so nervous; when the door started to open she was very anxious to meet her guarded.
the first thing she saw was a long silver hair ‘a girl?’ but that thought vanished once this person turned towards her ‘… god, definitely a boy’ she was used to see handsome boys anyways, but this guy ehh.. ’What am I thinking? Focus, Kagome’.
“Shit, where the hell is my wallet” said the boy throwing everything in his pad.
This was weird, guardian angels were assigned since the birth of the guarded, but this boy look like a teenager, maybe around 18 or so.
“And you sure have a bad temper” said Kagome out loud, forgetting that he couldn’t see her nor listen to her.
“HA, I found it” said the boy excited leaving the room
Kagome followed him out of his room, he lived in a nice place not too fancy but very comfy, it was a big house and she couldn’t see anyone else besides him.
Finally getting to the first floor, they reached what it seem a dinner room, and then a little man come out.
“Lord InuYasha the dinner is served”
“I’m not hungry, tell Sessh that I go out, see ya ” he didn’t let the little man say anything else when he was already outside.
“Bad manners, the ‘bad things list’ increasing in less than an hour” said Kagome to herself.
Once outside there was at least three cars parked outside the house, they seem really expensive, sure Kagome had never been on earth but she had stories about the life in here, and knew that not everyone could afford having those things. She was starting to question her assignment, she didn’t wanted to be the guarded of someone who had everything he wanted, she wanted to really help someone who needed it.
But as strange as it sounds, she felt a connection to him, and she had the hitchthat she would need him as much as he would needed her.
The boy who was addressed as InuYasha got into a red luxurious car, and quickly she sat beside him. He was driving like a mad man, he was going to hurt himself. “Please, slow down” she told him playing like his conscience, “you’re going to hurt yourself” but it didn’t matter it was like he wanted something bad to happen to him.
They stopped outside a big house whit a louse noise coming from inside ‘this must be a par’y’.
He parked the car and walk to the house. Kagome looked the surroundings. Outside were a bunch of people fighting, smoking, this was hell !!. Inside was no better, people groping each other and acting like they were having sex, she was blushing all the time.
“”what’s up Roku” said inuyasha greeting a tall black haired boy.
“I thought you wouldn’t come, what took you so long?”
“Na, my fucking brother didn’t wanted me to come, and start giving me the same speech as always ‘you’re wasting your life, bla bla’” the last part said imitating his brother’s voice.
“But you’re here now. So let’s get wasted” said Roku handing InuYasha a beer.
“Damn Riiiiight”
While Inuyasha spend the night dancing, drinking and smoking, the less Kagome wanted to be here, he just seemed a spoiled brat ruining his life, she was constantly telling him to stop, to get out of him, but it seems like that made him drink more and go even wilder. She was beyond pissed.
Then he started going to a yard where apparently there weren’t anybody. ‘What now’ the place was beautiful with all kind of flowers and all in different colors. Then something caught her attention.
“Mom, sniff… why did you leave me, sniffs” ranted Inuyasha over and over again.
He seemed so helpless, she wanted to embrace him and take all that pain away. She walked to him and surrounds him with her delicate arms giving him all the warm and comprehension she knew he needed.
Little by little he stopped crying, feeling so safe and for the first time in a long time not lonely. He could smell something sweet and enticing, he couldn’t say what was exactly, but he felt really good.
It was weird but Kagome had wanted for him to return her hug, to make him know he wasn’t alone. He was transmitting to her so much sadness and anger, how couldn’t she notice before? And that look on those beautiful golden eyes, they were just too empty, like a lost boy. She hugs him tighter. “You’re not alone, you’ll always have me” she said to him.
Maybe he wasn’t what he seems to be. Deep down she knew he will do better than this and finally accepted his mission as his guardian, and she sure was going to save him.
“Yashie… ” said a seductive voice behind them
‘Who is this’ and then saw Inuyasha grinning, dangerously sexy, the sad look removed from his face almost completely.
“What took you so long?, love”
