The passion that both of them wished....started to blossom.. in such small ways


He could not believe it.

Kagome was in his arms, was slightly naked--

Inu-Yasha threw that thought to the side, murdered it violently, poured a dark oily substance on it, and watched it burn with an angry embarrassed look on his face and flipped it off.
In all things holy, he was NOT about to ruin a moment so pure an innocent like this one. Hell, it was the first time that he felt was a mutal moment between the two..

not even mutual..

more like a "fleeting moment" of love to Inu-Yasha. Yet that was a very quickly passing moment as he saw the sun peeking through her window. The boy winced in his head slightly and gritted his teeth. Why did it have to end? Why?

Kagome noticed this too and sighed. It was too soon that this moment would so possibly die that she clung to him harder. Kagome had no intentions of letting go. Still though, it kind of hurt her to think about it, she had no idea wheather the feelings she had for him would ever be returned to her. Inu-Yasha's latent ties with Kikyo had always been getting in the way of Kagome ever getting the chance to just barely manage to whisper that she did love him. Closing her eyes, Kagome felt him shift his weight against her.

"You smell like .. sage.. Kagome"

Inu-Yasha had no time to stop himself from uttering what he smelled from her. It was so intoxicating. Inu-Yasha always remembered it when Kaede burned it in the temples because she claimed that full blood and smaller demon kinds hated the smell. Him being half demon it made him want to cringe and go shove his face into something other than the smoke filled room. But, for an odd reason, it was not bad at all when he smelled it on her. It was like inhaling a soft fragrent inscence that Kagome's mum burned sometimes when she burnt food on a rare occasion, or when she felt it was a nice enough day, or for her ancestors. Snapping out of his daze, Inu-Yasha shuddered slightly. He felt his face turn crimson red and he closed his eyes, not wanting to see the weird face that he expected to get from his crush.


Kagome blushed brightly and did not move. Sage? She couldn't remember the last time she was exposed to sage. Maybe it was the new shampoo that her mum got for her. It had Sage, Rosemary, and Peppermint in it. That could very well be what was throwing Inu-Yasha's nose off cue.


"umm.. its new, my mum got it for the family to use--"


Inu-Yasha interrupted slightly.


"So your entire family is going to smell like that?!"

" NO! Or at least I hope not.."


Kagome knew she only wanted him to be able to enjoy her scent. Especially when she smelled of sage and rosemary.

The girl froze, holding her breath for a moment. What if, what if she could show him what it smelled like by taking a showe-


"What are you thinking about now? Your heart is racing a mile a minute.."


Inu-Yasha made her thinking process come to a screeching hault. Kagome looked up just slightly so only her eyes and the bridge of her nose could be visible. Still clenching on to him, she whispered so quietly that he was glad to have his dog senses.


"will you.. well.. I.."

" " I " what? What are you going on about Kagome?"

Kagome felt her pale cheeks getting real red at the moment. Staring the Demon straight in the eyes, she asked in more of a scared hiss


"..will you take a shower with me.."

Inu-Yasha nearly had a heart-attack before Kagome finished the sentance.

SHOWER?!?
