Chapter 3: Secrets unveiled

“Oh my…” Their mother said in surprise, shock, her eyes blank and a tinge of concern in her voice “I want you boys to get dressed and go to your fathers study… we have something to discuss…” after saying the last words she left the room without ever looking back at his two sons.

Inuyasha almost jumped in surprise when he saw his mother hurriedly got out of his sight. In an attempt to follow her and luckily persuade and convince her that what she saw was not what she thinks it is! (I think mom is not as stupid as I think she is... but it’s worth to try… if she didn’t disappear like a bubble I should be able to do that!) Looking at his brother, He was dumbfounded that Sesshumarou is kind of taking this easily and seemed to be effortlessly covering himself, he just can’t put his anger into hold for it soon is going to explode.

“What the hell is wrong with you?!” Inuyasha bellowed in a voice that would surely make one’s eardrum fall off from one’s ear.

Sesshumarou then looked at him with his mask of indifference placed ones more and said in his cold monotonous voice “I don’t seem to understand what you’re trying to imply by that… inquiry?”

Inuyasha ones again found himself speechless by his brother’s answer. In shock “Wha-! Well I guess you don’t care that mom just saw us naked… embracing each other… we are brothers… and we will see father in his study!!!” Inuyasha said sarcastically and shouted at the last (oh boy! Father’s going to kill us now!)

Sesshumarou still having his indifferent look “What is done… is done dear brother… and from what is done consequences are inevitable.” Slowly nearing Inuyasha with a mischievous grin… “You would want to get dressed now… “Now whispering to Inuyasha’s ear “for such inevitable consequences may arise…”

Feeling Sesshumarou’s length getting harder as it was pressed at his back Inuyasha can’t force back a scream “Sesshumarou!” he slapped his brother face “Don’t you even care that someone just saw us do what we did? And that particular someone is our MOTHER! You just can’t let your head up there do the thinking do you?” a little flushed from embarrassment and anger.

Sesshumarou just turned again at his brother with narrowed eyes and the facial expression of coldness enough to make someone turn to ice. “That’s not the wisest thing to do dear brother…” showing a grin “you will have to make up for your obstinate behavior, but… there’s still an issue at hand to be dealt upon…” to a more serious tone “fix yourself… our parents awaits us.” He said getting near his brother.

Inuyasha trembled as they were just in a vis-à-vis distance from one another (oh someone help me… I’m going to get it this time…) he closed his eye getting ready for what ever his brother is going to do to him. When he opened his eyes he was surprised to see... that his brother was not there anymore! (Guess he’d gone to…)

PACK! “OOOUCH!” Inuyasha screamed as he felt a slap at his ass. “You bastard! What did you do that for!” Inuyasha bellowed to his brother comforting the now red skin of his ass. “I did say that you’ll be punished for your behavior, did I?” Sesshumarou said with his cold tone but failed to not show his smile for his brother’s reaction. “Now get dressed.” He added turning away and walking out from the bathroom. “What a fucker!” Inuyasha audibly said to himself.

“I did hear that dear brother.” Inuyasha was startled. He looked at his brother’s having his back at him. Not turning to see Inuyasha he continued “some dire punishment for the foolish behavior and the vulgar word… but it’s a punishment to make you scream in pain…” Inuyasha felt cold as he know to where his brother is leading to “… but rather in bliss” now Inuyasha can’t move from where he was standing as his brother placed the words in his mind cementing the speculation of what his brother was talking about. He stiffened as he heard a guttural chuckle from Sesshumarou as he walked away. (oh no… I’m really, really going to get it now! Why do I have to be so COMPULSIVE at times… no! every time! )



Inuyasha now buttoning the last button from his uniform was startled to someone calling him. “Young master Inuyasha? Young master? Are you here?” a soft voice from outside the bathroom called for him. “Yes Nana Kaede! I’m here in the bathroom I’m just buttoning the last button of my uniform.” Inuyasha rushed to where the voice was coming from. He got out of the bathroom to see his nanny, an elegantly dressed, a bit old woman with wrinkled face and hair fixed on top of her head as if to make a ball. Looking at her, you would know she’s not a regular servant but someone with a higher rank, but nevertheless still a servant. In fact she’s the head servant for the woman maids. “There you are young master.” Kaede said with relief. “What is it Nana Kaede?” Inuyasha asked her politely. “It’s your father and mother... they sent me to look for you. You and the young master Sesshumarou are needed in the study.” Inuyasha stiffened and started sweating from what he heard. “Ah… ok… I’ll be there in a… short while…” Inuyasha said shakily. As he let down his arms from failing to button his polo and from what he heard (Oh god… judgment day… will they kick us out of the house? Or…or…send either of us to another country? Now I’m making myself nervous! Be calm Inuyasha… be calm!) He didn’t notice Kaede going near him and buttoned the last button of his polo. She patted the collar and his shoulders straightening the creases. “There… all straightened up…” she said calmly. She looked up her young master and was shocked to see him pale and sweating, trembling, and looking at one spot from the wall. “Young master! Is the something wrong?! Are you ok?! Is the button too tight?!!” she said frantically as she shook Inuyasha still not looking at her. (oh gosh… oh gosh “young master!” gosh… “young mater!... young master!”) “Young master Inuyasha!”, “Wha-…! Nana Kaede!”, “Oh young master!” Kaeede said panting holding her chest to where her heart is “are you ok?”. “why wouldn’t I?” Inuyasha said a bit confused. “You were looking at a spot on the wall trembling, and sweating, and pale! Are you sure you’re ok? I’ll call the doctor if you want.” Kaede still frantic, going to the telephone. “Nana Kaede!” the woman looked at him “that won’t be necessary… I’m fine now… a thought just came to me and it’s a bit scary… that’s all… I’m fine now…” Kaede did a deep breathe and said “are you sure?” still having a worried tone. “Yes nana… I’m fine… you need not to worry…” Inuyasha said reassuringly. “Ok… better go to your parents. You will not want them getting impatient from waiting for you.” Inuyasha nodded and made his way to his father’s study.


Inuyasha walked along the hall way to his father’s study. No thought was coming to him. All that was in his mind is that he needs to get to his fathers study. Every thought just vanished and that is the only one that remained. He stopped in front of a wooden door towering over him. “Brother…” he jerked startled at the voice “How did you get there without me seeing you?” Inuyasha said shaking a bit. “I see…” Seshshumarou audibly said to himself. “What?” Inuyasha said confused “could you answer the question?”, “You were in a daze… it seems that you were sleep walking and was awaken from it when I called you.” Sesshumarou said in his normal cold tone. Inuyasha was about to say something when they heard a low cold voice from behind the titanic door “Sesshumarou… Inuyasha… come in” the voice called on them making shivers come up Inuyasha’s spine. “Father” Inuyasha said with a sigh.


The door slowly creaked open revealing the highest shelves and the biggest collection of books the world had ever seen. The inside of the study is a circular 3 story structure with the shelves by the wall. They saw their father facing a big glass door looking at the labyrinth garden behind it. They saw their mom standing at one side of a big old english medieval desk. And an attractive man at Sesshumarous age standing at the other. He has long black hair braided in one piece, having azure blue eyes, and sun kissed skin. (Hmmm… I must say… he’s cute…WAIT! Am I really thinking this?! I’m a man! But… it’s not unusual for elites here to be coupled with the same sex… If there’s a demon in me… you ass hole! Get out of me! Get out of my mind!) He looked down to the floor to stop looking at the gorgeous man in front, and to stop explicit thought go inside his head.

A long silence filled the air. Inuyasha shot up his head to his father remembering courtesy. “Good morning father, mother.” He then looked at the man adjacent the other side of the table. “Good morning.” He greeted then lowering back his head. Sesshumarou did the same with normal coldness. “Good morning Inuyasha… Sesshumarou…” not bothering to look at the brothers. Still looking at the labyrinth “Do you still remember your cousin Kouga?” (oh… that’s who he is! Now I remember…)

Kouga walked to Sesshumarou. Having dead lock stare with each other. They both raised their hand as if going to punch each others nose. (Oh no! trouble) “Fa-…” Inuyasha was cut off to call his father when he saw Sesshumarou and kouga in a warm friendly embrace. “Seshumarou! Long time no see cousin!” Kouga said to Seshumarou patting his back. “Long time Kouga… but… can you stop patting my back as if you want me to belch like an infant.” Sesshumarou hissed at the latter. “Still as unwelcoming as ever, huh Sessh!” Kouga said as he released Sesshumarou. “You’re acting as if you’re a commoner” Sesshumarou said a bit annoyed but still with his coldness. They both looked at Inuyasha as they heard him chuckle.

Inuyasha stopped chuckling as he felt two searing pair of eyes looking at him. He saw Sesshumarou having his you’ll- get- another-punishment look in his eyes. And Kouga having his brows almost meet in an anger like look. (Why can’t I keep myself from trouble!? But I can’t keep the laugh! If only Sesshumarou could see how annoyed he look! Kouga! Now I’m in trouble!)

“Inuyasha…” Kouga said as he walked to Inuyasha stopping in front of him, he raised his hand. Inuyasha quickly shut his eyes and preparing for a blow that would knock him unconscious (that is what he always does when he used to visit us when we were kids. It just pains me to see him, when we were kids that is… he usually get to all kinds of trouble with me and brother and would always punch me in the nose when I disagreed. I think now I’m going t o get one just to tell me he’s come and visit. ).

He waited for the K.O. blow but it didn’t come! Instead he felt his left arm being raised to an angle just a distance away from his waist, he felt something warm and moist touch his hand. Inuyasha opened his eyes and was shocked to see Kouga in kneeling holding his hand and placing a soft, gentle kiss on it. Kouga then raised his head and looked at Inuyasah with an admiration in his eyes.

After kissing his cousin’s hand Kouga raised his head and looked at Inuyasha straight in his eyes. “It is good to see you again…” he smiled “and how you’ve grown to be so beautiful.” His smile grew wider and placed another kiss on Inuyasha’s hand.

Inuyasha was dumbstruck! He quickly pulled his hand away from Kouga as he placed another kiss on it… he was flushing red like blood itself. (Is this Kouga’s idea of a joke?!! He treated me like I’m a girl! He’s going to get now… he’s really going to get it now!) Clenching his fist he prepared to punch Kouga on the nose when in a blink of an eye he saw Sesshumarou on top of Kouga having crimson eyes and his claws clutched on his neck, dripping with green fluid that’s slowly burns Kouga’s skin. Surprisingly Kouga’s eyes were crimson too. His claws also clutched on Sesshumarous neck. Both barring their fangs. (wait! Fangs!?! Claws!?! Where did that come from? And the green fluid? Is it Sesshumarou’s blood? Is he an alien or something? And their eyes… crimson… Inuyasha you jerk! They’re going to kill each other!)

Inuyasha looked at his mother and father. His mother’s face having no concern look at all and his father still has his back on them. He was going to call on his father to stop them when he heard his father speak in the most cold, guttural, that promised direly kind of voice that send shivers to his spine “You two stop this insolence ones and for all.”… His knees almost gave but summoning all his strength he remained standing limply. He saw his father emitting a red flowing glow. And when his father turned to face them… (no… this is not my father…) he saw his father also having crimson eyes and barring his fangs his hair is being pushed up wind that was never really present. Inuyasha looked at his mother seeing her looking at him with a smile uttering in her lips “don’t worry everything will be ok.” He ones again heard the terrifying voice of his father but now he can say that its out of this world! Maybe below it! (A voice from hell…) “STOP THIS INSOLENCE!” his father shouted that made Sesshumaoru flung away from Kouga hitting the shelves. Books pilling over Sesshumarou. Then he saw his father’s face going back to human like. And saw Kouga lying unconscious in front of him.

Then everything seemed to spin. The whole world seemed to spin! The last thing he heard was his mother calling, screaming his name “INUYASHA!” then everything turned black.


Inuyasha slowly opened his eyes but all he saw was black but he could see himself. “Where-… where am I?”, “You are where your soul dwells.” Said the voice the same as his… “Who are you? Why am I here?” Inuyasha said trying to look for the voice, to where it’s coming from.

“I am you… and you are me…” said the voice. Inuyasha turned to the voice and saw himself standing in front of him but there’s something different with the other him… it had crimson eyes and fangs and claws just like his father, Sesshumarou, and Kouga! “No! Your not me! You’re different! You’re a monster!”

Youkai: On the contrary Inuyasha… I am you… you can’t go out calling yourself a monster.

“But…”

Youkai: Inuyasha… the same with your father… Sesshumarou… kouga… and your mother you are all demons.

“What are you talking about!?! I have to strike your statement back to you… I can’t go out calling myself a demon!”

Youkai: but on the contrary Inuyasha… you are a demon… us and our family…

“But how can that be possible! There’s no such thing!”

Youkai: but there is Inuyasha… there is….

“But…”

Youkai: if you would let me explain… maybe… everything will be clear to you… can I begin?

Inuyasha nodded “Yes”
Youkai: It all began in an era unknown to the humans but well recognized to the demons called “The Demon Era” where demon lords rule. Demon lords have vast lands of their own. One can be as big as a whole continent and some can be as small as an island.

Your family came from such a family. Your great ancestors are Demon lords. From your great grandfather and so is your father, they are great dog demon lords of the west, that is now known to you as Japan.

“You said dog demon… do you mean there are different kinds of demons?”

Youkai: Yes.

“And you said lords of the west known to me as Japan… Do you mean we own Japan?”

Youkai: Yes… but only to the demons…

“I’m sorry… but I don’t understand…”

Youkai: if you would let me finish with my story then you would understand…

“My apologies… you may continue…”

Youkai: demons have their other souls in them called youkai.

“You mean…?”

Youkai: Yes, Inuyasha… I am your youkai… and these youkais makes the demons… demon like.

“I see…”

Youkai: humans and demons a like prosper. But there is such a thing as good and bad. There are those demons that really stand up with their names as demons. For they slay humans and demons alike. But humans are the ones that took the toll for they are weak against demons.

In relation to vile demons… there are also vile human beings… they kill demons most at their infancy for it is when that demons are compromised. They also kill demon females and hanyous. They would rape and after which kill them. The same fates happen to the hanyous.

“Hanyous?”

Youkai: They are half demons.

“Half demon, half human?”
Youkai: Yes…. Your mother is such.

“My mom? She’s a half demon?!”

Youkai: Yes… he is a half demon…

“I’m sorry for being such a grammar Nazi… “she” are to be used for females… mothers are such.”

The youkai smiled as if knowing something.

Youkai: “HE is a half demon.”

“But…”

The youkai looked at him. The look of let- me- finish kind of look and he was silenced.

Youkai: going back… that is what started the conflict between the demons and humans. In an outcry for peace the leaders of each of the alliance met at a summit but instead of a treaty of peace… a war was made for the humans poisoned the demon leaders’ food in the conference. Upon hearing the news demons prepared for the greatest war ever.

In Japan such a war erupted due to the capture of the hanyou Inuyasha the youngest son of the demon lord Inutaisho your grand father and the only mate of the young lord of the west Sesshumarou.

“What a coincidence… they have me and my brother’s name….”

Youkai: coincidence? Not. It is not a coincidence that you and your brother have the same name of the two young lords…

The two lords are brothers, the same as you.

Like the two lords… they look like you.

And you and your brother are the two lords.

“Oh… What?! I’m sorry but did I get the last one right? WE ARE the two lords?!”

Youkai: Yes… you and your brother are reincarnation of the great demon lords Inuyasha and Sesshumarou. The great Inuyasha died morbidly in the hands of the humans. When the great lord Sesshumarou found his mates body, its chest open his heart taken out from it. Seeing his mate’s heart skewed on a spear. Everything turned red for all humans.

Sesshuamrou underwent a blood lust. In full demon form he killed every human, destroyed every village and city he would see. Spilling the blood of humans all over the lands of the west. All human life was close to extinction not until his insanity from the loss of his mate killed him… the demon lord Sesshumarou killed himself by doing the same thing the humans did to his mate. On a cliff by the ocean he stood regally in human form. He clawed out his heart and let the ocean lead him to the next world to where his mate Inuyasha is.

Sesshumarou and Inuyasha had two pups and were taken cared by your great grand father Inutaisho. They are your father and mother. The older is named Inutaisho, your father, named after your grandfather and the other Izayoi, even if it’s a woman name it is still named to your mother from the name of your grandmother… a human.

“You mean?!”

Youkai: Yes… your mother is a he. Your father and mother are brothers.

“Incest! We are products of incest!”

Youkai: you are really brought up as humans by your parents Inuyasha… to the demons incest not a taboo… not immoral… not unethical… but is widely accepted. Not unlike humans.

“But it’s wrong!”

Youkai: to humans it is. It is due to their greed of power for they don’t want any family other than theirs to rule over the lands they own. They had that idea from the demons. But unlike the demons the union of brothers and sisters for humans gave dire consequences not like demons.

Genes of demons and humans are very not alike. Humans can only union with the opposite sex to bear children whereas demons can with the same but still bear children.

“But it’s still wrong! BROTHERS! Brothers just don’t “unite” here”

Youkai: it’s seems to me that you don’t get the point.

“The hell I don’t!”

Youkai: It is as simple as you don’t belong to that “here” you are different from them. You are a DEMON.

“Ok… I can accept the male to male thing but to my brother? Can I at least choose someone to be my mate?”

Youkai: It is up to you Inuyasha… you weave your own thread of life. Inuyasha from the past, may and can be different from the present. All I can give you is… that you follow your heart. Your happiness will not depend on what others think but to what your heart thinks can make you happy. At the end Inuyasha… it is you to decide… not them.

The figure in front of Inuyasha is slowly disappearing in particles going to the darkness.

“Youkai! What’s happening to you!?!”

Youkai: time is almost over… you need to go back to the real world.

Inuyasha looked at himself; he too is slowly disappearing in particles.

“But I still have so many things to ask you!”

Youkai: I am only to clear things on which who you really are Inuyasha. To what had happened to the demon world will be explained to you. But it is not me to do that.

Then it hit him. (If he’s me and I’m him and he knows everything about Inuyasha.) He looked at his youkai his one’s crimson eyes are now golden like him and he saw that it’s smiling at him.

“Wait! You’re Inuyasha!”

Youkai: No… WE are Inuyasha…

“Your Sesshumaoru’s mate! But I don’t get it!?! Why didn’t you force me to love or even have my brother as a mate?”

Youkai: I may be you and you may be me… but I am the Inuyasha of the past… and you… you are the present… as I told you… it is not for the others to decide for you… but for you to decide for yourself… again… you weave your own thread… you choose your own path… as I chose mine.

“Wait Inuyasha! I still have so many things to ask you!”

Their disappearing already reached their shoulders and is fast proceeding to their heads.

“But...!”

Youkai: just follow your heart Inuyasha… follow your heart…

As their disappearing reached their neck…

Youkai: can I ask you something Inuyasha…

“What’s that?”


Inuyasha sees tears flowing from the past Inuyasha’s eyes.

Youkai: Inuyasha… I wasn’t able to say goodbye to my sons when I was captured by the humans… and I can’t take your place even for just a while…

Inuyasha sees now that the past Inuyasha is sobbing even if what remains are their heads…

Youkai: can you tell my sons that their mother loves them very much… tell them that their mother is sorry and his heart aches to not say goodbye and tell them how much I’m sorry.

The only part that remains are their heads… it seemed to be slowing… but the disappearing still continues…


Youkai: tell them that their mother loves them with all his heart and will forever love them even through the end of time.

“Yes… I’ll tell them…”

Now that the disappearing is nearing by their eyes Inuyasha can’t stop himself from crying… for he felt how hurt the Inuyasha in front of him is.

Youakai: and Inuyasha one more thing…

“What’s that?” Inuyasha said a bit shaky from crying.

Youkai: tell them… that they did the greatest job raising such wonderful children.
Could you tell these exact words to them…? “Inutaisho… Izayoi… I love you with all my heart…” Lastly Inuyasha… I leave you this… follow your heart…


Then everything turned white. One time he felt that he’s like floating in air and now he fell to something warm. Then he could hear someone calling for him. “Inuyasha! Inuaysha!”

He opened his eyes and saw his father cradling him in his arms. He saw his mother on the verge of crying by his father. When his father held him in an embrace he felt warm moist on his shoulders. He looked at his father he saw tears coming down his eyes.

“Inuyasha… I thought we lost you…” his father said in the warmest tone he had ever heard.

“Father… why would you think that?” Inuyasha asked in confusion.

“After you fell, your father caught you before you fall on the floor. He was thrown away by an aura that engulfed you and you rose to the air.” Her mom said worriedly but now in relief.

“Really?” Inuyasha still confused.

“Your father almost turned to true demon form to-…” Izayoi stopped her explanation.

“Mom… its ok… I know everything…” Inuyasha smiled at her mother.

“What? How?” Inutaisho and Izayoi said in unison.

“Your mother… Inuyasha… my grandfather Inuyasha that is, he showed up in my dream… maybe it happened when I was being engulfed by the aura. He explained everything to me.” Inuyasha said.

Inutaisho and Izayoi looked at each other still in confusion.

“Father… mother… I know you’re brothers. Son of the great lords of the west Inuyasha and Sesshumarou. Grandfather explained everything to me… everything about them, the mating, the history of the demon world but he did left out some details, everything about you… and I accept you… now I’m wishing that you didn’t raise me as a human. At first I almost rejected you when I’ve known about you father and mother… but when he explained that I’m a demon but not a human everything is clear to me now…” Inuyasha explained further.

Now his father and mother are looking at him intently. Seeing if he would still say something.

“… and yeah… me and my brother over there… we are reincarnations of grandpa and grandma.” Inuyasha tried to say normally as not to dumbstruck his parents.

But he failed to do so… they were shocked and failed to utter words to say when he said that.

“Mother? Father? Are you ok?” Inuyasha said full of concern because now he could see his parents unable to speak which is not normal in any case.

Inutaisho shock his head mentally and Straightening up he put Inuyasha on his feet. “We are ok son… it’s just what you said… we we’re bewildered and it was able to de-word our minds to say anything.” Inutaisho now said with normal cold tone voice.

As Inutaisho and Izayoi turned their backs on him and was now wlaking to where Seshhumarou is.

“Father… mother… grandma wanted to say something to you.” Inuyasha said shaking.

Both Inutaisho and Izayoi turned to look at him with facial expressions no one thought would display on their faces.

“He said…” Inuyasha tried to mimic the past Inuyasha’s tone of voice… but was surprised to know that it was not only how he speak he had mimicked but also how the past Inuyasha had talked to him… “Weeping”

“he wanted to say sorry for he wasn’t able t o say goodbye…” he tried to relate what the past Inuyasha said in verbatim… then he found himself like he was the past Inuyasha.

“I wasn’t able to say goodbye to my sons when I was captured by the humans…”

“Can you tell my sons that their mother loves them very much… tell them that their mother is sorry and his heart aches to not say goodbye and tell them how much I’m sorry”

“Tell them that their mother loves them with all his heart and will forever love them even through the end of time...”

“Tell them… that they did the greatest job raising such wonderful children.”

“Inutaisho… Izayio… I love you with all my heart.”

“That’s what he said.” Inuysha now lowered his head because he can’t stop himself from sobbing. Then he felt warm arms embracing him… he looked up to see his father and mother embracing him in the middle…

“Thank you Inuyasha… thank you…” his father said. His mother can’t say anything but cry. Then silence filled the air.

Sesshumarou audibly cleared his throat with a cough.

“Sesshumarou… I see that you’re already awake.” Inutaoisho said with his coldness.

“Yes I am father… and father, Grandfather explained everything to me… but it seems to me that Inuyasha already told you what had been talked about… he told me that what is said to Inuyasha is the same to what had been said to me. And what you would do is to clear things on what happened to the demon world after the uprising of the humans.” Sesshumarou said having his indifferent look.

“Very much our father…” said Izayoi a bit sadden.

“And… father, mother…”

“Yes Sesshumarou?” asked his mother.

“Grand father wants to tell you that he loves you, even if he didn’t have the time to tell you, or the time to let you feel how he deeply loves his pups and their mother.” Sesshumarou’s coldness broke when he said the words. It is also the way how his grand father said it.

Izayoi can’t stop tears flowing down her eyes from she heard. Inutaisho had his bangs covering his eyes but if you were in the room you can see tears flowing on his cheeks.

Straightening up Inutaisho looked at his eldest son… “Sesshumarou… you said that there are still unclear things to you regarding the demon world.”

Sesshumarou a bit surprised but didn’t let it show “yes father… he didn’t clear things after the human uprising…”

“Yes… the uprising…”Inutaisho walked to the desk at the middle of the room and seated at the chair behind it. “It is known to the demon world as the “Great Uprising” and the “fall of the demon world.”

“But as grandmother said… demons are strong and humans need all their power just to kill one demon!?!” Inuyasha said a bit shocked.

“Yes Inuyasha… demons are strong but… without their youkais they are close to being humans.” Inutaisho answered.

“Is there a way to stop the demons youkais from coming out?” Inuyasha answered back.

“Yes there is...” Izayoi said getting in the conversation. Walking to where his mate is Izayoi continued “It is if the humans use the jewel known as the shikon no kakera…” now beside his mate.

“Shikon no kakera?” Sesshumarou said still with a high brow.

“It is a mystical jewel that can fulfill any wish asked to it.” Izayoi continued. As Izayoi saw the enlightened look from his sons but knew they still have to hear the explanation. “The humans got the hold of the jewel and wished that all youakis of demons be sealed so as the demons will not be able to use it.

But it seemed to be that the jewel was not able to seal in completely all the demon youkais for all youkais combined… it is too much for the jewel… it used up all its power for the wish that after the wish had been fulfilled the jewel turned to dust never again to be used.
But nevertheless it was able to stop, not seal, the youkais from coming out. The jewel had slumbered the youkais in to a deep sleep that the demons will not be able to use it if they were just to call it. It would require a great feat of emotion to awaken them and of course nobles have some leverage for they have such strong demon bloods.”

Now it was Inutaisho’s turn to explain. “It is evident to the two of you. You coming from the lineage of the great dog demon lords and with the great emotion that has awaken your youkais with your mating.”

Inuyasha chocked from what he heard “Ahm! Father!?!... Ahm! Mating?! Are we mates already?!”

“Maybe… maybe not… for me and your mother…” Izayoi blushed from the mentioning of their names in the conversartion. “We have to do the mating twice… the first mating was void for it was to awaken the youkai… knowing that there’s something wrong we mated again and was successful to that.”

“How would we know that our youkais are awakened and how would we know that our…” Inuyasha stuttered “I mean that the mating is successful…?” Inuyasha finished a bit shaky.

“Apparently your youkais are awakened from what your mother had told me after he saw you when…” Inutaisho tried to say the next as normal as possible…”when you were together.”

Inuyasha turned red and felt so hot he felt that he would erupt like a volcano. He could hear Sesshumarou chuckling and he glared to where the sound was coming from. (If it wasn’t for you I would not be in this kind of embarrassment you dumb ass!)

Shaking his head mentally and straightening up he turned to his parents “How about our mating? How would we know that we are mates?” he found himself blushing from what he said.

“The mating mark is not the same to all… it is different to every demons… one demon has a different mating mark as the other.” Inutaisho said matter- of- factly.

Then Inuyasha remembered the mark he noticed a while ago when he was getting dressed.

“Father… what if the mark made is like a side- lying 8” Inuyasha asked skeptically

“A side-lying 8? Ah yes… It is the mark of the dog demons… Usually it is found present at birth but as the youkais were sealed it appeared after the youkais awaken.” Inutaisho said.

(Oh yeah! At least I know I’m not mated to that dumb ass!) He was cut off from his musing when his father asked him something.

“Inuyasha… can I look at your back?” Inutaisho asked.

“Ok father if you say so…” Inuyasha then removed his polo… as he was unbuttoning his polo he smelled something familiar… (I think I smelled this scent when… oh… shit…I smelled this kind of scent when… me… and… Sessh…) he looked at Sesshumarou looking at him lustfully (god… I can smell his lust from over here…) after letting his polo fall down to the floor he faced his back to his parents and heard a gasp. He turned to look around and saw his mother in shock and his father with wide eyes.

“Mother? Father? What is it that you see?” Inuyasha said really puzzled.

Then he heard Sesshumarou at his back said “A great Dog demon lord in his true form… Exquisite.”

“The same as mother had.” Izayoi said still inshock.

Inuyasha turned to his mother with shock (I think I Know what will come next Oh god… please no…plea…)

“The mating mark of your grandmother… Inuyasha…” Inutaisho said as if sealing in the information into Inuyasha’s head. (No… no no no no no! this can’t be!) He then turned to look for a mirror. He ran back and forth as if he was a lost child. Then he saw a big mirror to he know was the door. He turned to look and he saw a black tattoo outline of a dog demon in full beast form.

“It is what the great Sesshumarou looks like when he’s in full demon form…” Inutaisho said to Inuyasha.

“Sesshumarou… can I take a look at your back?” Inutaisho asked Sesshumarou.

Sesshumarou willingly removed his top and turned to let his parents see what it is on his back.

“As I suspected. You have the same mating mark as your grandfather.” Inutaisho said affirming.

Inuyasha turned to see what they were talking about for he was still looking at the mark behind him. He ran to his parents to see what they were looking at. He say a tattoo like outline of a man standing in front of him with his long hair spread out, eyes even without the color he know it was crimson red, its fangs showing, his face adorned by stripes, with his claws spread out at his side. “Father?” Inuyasha confused for what he saw.

“It is a hanyou… Inuyasha… that is what your grandmother looks like in his demon form.” Inutaisho said.

(Does this mean!?!)
“Father… does this mean that I’m a half demon?” Inuyasha inquired.

“Apparently… yes… you are a half demon.” Inutaisho answered back as a matter of factly way.

“Oh… does it make me a lesser demon to that?”

“Identifiably speaking… yes… but with youkai power… knowing that you are from a noble blood and to a strong blood to that… you can equal or be a lot more powerfull than other demons… as your grandmother is… and as you said you are his reincarnation.”

(Oh… wait… I have his mark... he has my mark… does this mean… oh no.. oh please no… no…)

Inutaisho felt his son’s uneasiness “Are you ok Inuyasha?”

“Father… does this mean… that… me and Sesshumarou… that we…” Inuyasha said stuttering.

Sesshumarou turned to his parents and mate “We are mates.” Completing the sentence his brother can’t quite finish.

Inuyasha stiffened to see his brother look at him intently. (Oh no… I guess I’ll be receiving the punishment after all…! oh god…)
