Healing time

A/N: Well I just had a small party at my house, and am slightly inebriated right now, so if sentences stop making sense right at the end, I’m sorry! I just really wanted to get this out. Thank you Notgoingtowrite and KooKooKitty for the reviews! Enjoy, I need to pass out, work tomorrow!

Celina slumped on the floor of the hallway, her knees pulled up to her chin. Her mother lay in a bed in the room beyond the wall she leaned on, fighting for her life. The young pup was under weight but otherwise healthy. Everything was going wrong since her return four hours ago, Celina thought to herself as she let out a soft sigh. Tasshomaru had disappeared about an hour ago, her father was pacing her mother’s room, and Ash was threaten to throw him out for threaten one of the healer’s life. Could this get any worst?

“Celina,” she cringed at hearing him say her name.

“Dammit,” she muttered under her breath, cursing herself for asking how this could get worst. It would figure Koga would have heard of her return at least an hour ago. So why wait to see her, not that she wanted him to search her out at all of course.

“How ya holding up?” he asked her, standing about two feet from her. She stood up, and sent him a fierce glare. Her silver eyes glittered with her inner anger and pain. “HEY!”

Celina decided to ignore him, even as he followed her down the hall. Screw the bastard. She had other more important problems on her mind. Koga had other plans then her walking away from him. He ran after her and spun her around to face him.

“Let go,” she snapped at him, giving him a small warning growl as well.

“Not until you tell me why you are avoiding me!” he demanded, his blue eyes staring into her silver ones. Challenging her to deny him his answers, when she stayed silent, he crushed his lips to her.

“Bastard,” Celina cried as she snapped her lips away from his, and backhanded him. The force of the blow stunned him, and she quickly made her escape. Slamming her bedroom door, she locked her door then flung herself a crossed her bed.

She refused to cry over him or anything right now, she just wanted to feel numb. Where the hell was Tasshomaru when she needed him? He always listens to her rants without much complaining, and she needed to do some ranting right about now.

Tasshomaru felt the woman in his arms snuggle into his chest. He originally cane to here apartment to talk, but somehow the ended up making out on the couch. Two hours later, she was in his arms naked in her bed. She released a small sigh before looking up at him. Her green eyes looked like sparkling emeralds as she gazed into his eyes. Then his cell phone started ringing.

“What,” he barked into the phone he plucked off the floor by the bed. Letting out a small groan when he heard his sister’s voice on the other end of the phone, she was going to be a pain in his ass. While Celina demanded he return home, his once naked woman was putting her jeans back on. His sister was fantastic at killing the mood. “Give me an hour okay!”

“I guess they notice you’re gone, huh,” she sighed as she started brushing her white hair with silver streaks, being mindful of her fox ears perched on top of her head. Huffing, she slammed her brush down on her vanity, and ran her fingers through her hair, refusing to look at him.

“You’re mad at me, aren’t you?” he sighed, as he got off the bed, and stretched. After being with her for three years, he got use to her moods.

“You know what’s wrong,” she replied, opening her bedroom door and walking out into the living room. He followed her once he was dressed.

“Look I promise you I will tell them about you once things settle down,” Tasshomaru told, as he walked over to the couch were she was sitting. “Things are a mess right now, and I won’t add to that by telling them I have taken an intended.”

“I’m not an intended until you asked my father,” she growled back. They been having this fight for the last year, and it was only getting worst. “You have turned down my mother’s invitation to her home to meet them twice now. I’m not sure how much longer I wish to keep a secret relationship.”

“Catalina,” he called after her as she stormed from the room.

“Go away!” she scream as she slammed her bedroom door.

“Can’t do anything right,” he muttered to himself as he grabbed his keys off the end table by the door. Catalina only brought up the secretiveness of their relationship when one of his family members called him when he was out with her. Celina was going to get it when he got home. Besides, was not she the one who fled the country because she could not handle her own shit, and now she needed big brother to help her. Pure bullshit.

Sesshomaru looked down at his too small pup. The pup was born at four pounds and 6 ounces, and a normal weight for a pup was at least eight pounds. His eldest had been over ten pounds, and his daughter had been a little over nine pounds. This pup was so tiny compared to the rest, yet the healers assure him that the pup would survive.

“Father,” Celina said softly from the door to the nursery. She wanted to see her newest sibling after Koga finally gave up pounding on her door, and had not expected her father to be in the nursery.

“Celina,” he noted her presence and waved her in. Quietly, she walked into the room, closing the door behind her, and walked over next to her father. Staring down at her newest sibling, she sighed. “Was I ever that small?”

“No,” Sesshomaru replied, keeping his voice emotionless. “When you where born you were at least twice his size. They say he is perfectly healthy minus his small size.”

“That’s good,” she replied, wondering if she should tell her father she called Tasshomaru home. Except Tasshomaru sounded pissed he was disturbed, which lead Celina’s mind to wander on where he was. Choosing not to tell him about Tasshomaru or her newly resurrected grandfather, whom was in a room at the other end of the palace, she changed subjects. “How’s mother?”

“Better,” he replied, ruffling the patch of silver hair on the pup’s head. “They stopped the bleeding. She just needs to rest now.”

“That’s why you were kicked out of her room,” Celina muttered under her breath, earning a glare from her father.

“I left voluntarily to check up on my pup,” he growled glaring at her. She looked up, and noticed something hiding behind her eyes. “What troubles you my pup?”

“Nothing,” she replied, shifting her eyes away from his. She really wanted to ask him where should she begin, but she sensed Koga’s presence outside the nursery. Sesshomaru felt his daughter’s nervousness and sensed the wolf outside in the hallway.

“I can order him away from here if you like,” he replied. His mate and daughter tended to think he did not notice certain things in his castle, but he knew of the wolf’s interest in his daughter.

“No,” she replied, heading towards the door, but looked back at him. “I ran once, and I refuse to run again. I am your daughter and should face this head on.”

“I’m proud of you,” he told her, and she smiled back. Opening the door, she threw the smile off her face. It was time for Koga to know where she stood with their relationship. No one would mess with her again.
