Chapter II
Chapter 2
"Heh, here we are, guys." yelled out Inuyasha as he brought his bike off the side of the road and parked it outside of a courtyard.
The courtyard, really an abandoned building lot decorated with graffiti of every kind, was located precisley on what was considered the border between the western gang territory and the northern gang territory.
Unlike the normal kind of gang wars, the dons of the two rival groups had decided to settle their differences between each other on a duel. One member of each respective gang would fight it out, old school style, using select swords and their dueling skills instead of machine guns and what-not.
The Serpents dismounted their bikes and proceeded to the center of the building lot, where the house's foundation rested. This slab of concrete was the "arena" so to speak. It was surrounded by a makeshift wall of barbed wire and electric fence, and access was provided by two steel cage doors.
Kikyo grabbed onto Inuyasha's arm, signaling his attention.
"Hey, good luck out there." she said, before planting a passionate kiss right on his lips.
"Don't you worry about a thing, Kikyo. I'll make it out of here in one piece. After tonight, we'll be celebrating the acquisiton of new territory." replied Inuyasha, returning the kiss before breaking it off.
Hefting his trusty dueling sword, the Tetsuiga, he entered the arena, awaiting his opponent from the Thunder gang.

"Go get 'em, Hiten." said the bald headed younger brother Muso.
"I will Muso, don't you worry about a thing." replied Hiten, hefting his trusty halbred and grinning.
He looked back over the other members of the Thunder gang, at Takemaru, Jaken, and the others. They were a rag tag bunch, but effective, so long as they had effective leadership that he could provide.
Focusing his thoughts inwards, preparing for the oncoming battle, he entered the arena.

"So, there you are at last. Prepared to die?" questioned Inuyasha, hefting his huge wedge shaped sword onto his shoulder.
"I am always prepared to die. However, I will not die tonight by your hands, pitiful puppy." snarled Hiten in response, assuming a battle position with his halbred.
"Keh. We'll see who walks out of here alive. Let's do this." replied Inuyasha, before madly charging with his sword swinging.
Hiten simply dodged out of the way, letting the impulsive young whelp crash into the electric and barbed wire barrier, getting a few cuts and a good shock for his trouble. He then went for a strike on Inuyasha's left knee, intending to cut out his mobility.
Recovering quickly though, Inuyasha jumped up and away, bringing his sword back down for another hard strike.
This time Hiten was caught dead center, and attempted to block with his halbred.
In the event, Inuyasha cut right through the wooden staff section of the halbred, and straight through Hiten as well. The young duelist collapsed to his knees, as his weapon snapped in two. Then blood sprayed out from his bisected body, as he collapsed onto the floor of the arena in a bloody mess.
"Hah. Looks like I'm the one that's walking out of here alive." said Inuyasha, grinning in victory.
He exited the arena, and was engulfed by a very happy Kikyo, as the other gang members surrounded him to offer their congratulations.
The thunder gang recovered the body of their leader, and bade a hasty retreat from the dueling arena, which was now exclusivley Serpent gang territory.
"Hell yeah. First we'll go to the don and report. Afterwards, it's time for some serious partying." hollered Inuyasha, pumping his fist into the air. The other gang members followed, showing off the tattooes of the serpent on their right arms and fists.
