Chapter Three
Inner Beast

--The Next Morning—
Kagome woke up feeling comfortable more than she ever did before. She looked around and noticed she wasn’t in her own bed. Then it all came flooding back to her. Sesshomaru, the other woman, Inu Tashio’s beautiful singing. She touched her lips for an odd reason that she couldn’t determine. They tingled like they remembered something that she didn’t.

Just as she was about to get up the door opened and in walked Inu Tashio. He was carrying a tray with enough food on it to feed an army. She raised her eyebrows at him as he came in and smiled at her… more liked grinned.

“Good morning Kagome.” Inu Tashio said to her as he sat the tray down on the table that was off to the side of the room near the windows.

“Morning?” Kagome asked shocked.

“Yes morning… I let you sleep the night in my rooms so you would have peace and quiet.” Inu Tashio said.

When he looked up to see her cheeks become slightly pink he chuckled. “Don’t worry my dear. I slept in a guest bedroom last night.” he said smiling at her.

Kagome felt relief flow through her body. Then she felt bad for taking his room in her time of need.

“Don’t you worry about taking my bed Kagome, I didn’t mind in the least.” Inu Tashio replied as if he read her mind.

“Thank you Inu Tashio, but I will be out of your hair as soon as I find my other clothes and change out of this dress so I don’t ruin it anymore than I already have.” Kagome said as she got up. She straightened out the beautiful gown.

“Kagome… Come eat breakfast with me… Please?” he asked as sweetly as he could.

Kagome looked into his eyes and noticed that they looked so adorable… just like a little puppy dog.

“How old are you my lord?” Kagome asked as she came over to the table.
Inu Tashio looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “One thousand years mi lady.” Inu Tashio said as he pulled out her chair for her.

Kagome sat down as he pushed her chair in, just like in times of old.
“One thousand and still young looking mi lord, your absolutely stunningly handsome mi lord.” Kagome said with a smile as Inu Tashio sat down.

“Why Kagome… I didn’t think you noticed how handsome my person was.” Inu Tashio said with amusement shinning in his eyes.

Kagome’s cheeks got a pink tint to it and Inu Tashio had to stop himself from laughing at loud. He almost thought she wasn’t going to respond for a minute there.

“The female population would have to be blind to not notice one such as you mi lord.” Kagome responded.

“You flatter me mi lady.” Inu Tashio said as he lifted the tops off of the breakfast before them.

Each had a plate of pancakes, sausage, bacon, hash browns, a bowl of fruit, a choice of orange or apple juice, some wheat toast and eggs made up the whole breakfast.

Kagome looked at it all with wide eyes. “Do you think you have enough here mi lord?” she said aloud before she could stop herself.

“No, not nearly enough… I shall have to eat you as well mi lady, sorry but it is thou fate.” Inu Tashio stated.

Kagome choked on the drink she had just swallowed as he said this. Vivid visions of Inu Tashio doing exactly what he just said flashed through her mind… and they were not in the eating like they were doing now, but a very sexual eating.

Inu Tashio smelled her arousal and his inner beast shock its cage wanting to be free to take her.

*What the hell is wrong with me?* Kagome thought to herself.

Inu Tashio breathed in Kagome’s scent and it broke the cages bars that caged in his beast. He slid back with the pray that his beast wouldn’t harm Kagome.

Kagome looked at Inu Tashio with wide eyes. Oddly enough she was not afraid of him though. Even when he got up from his seat and came over to her. Even when he moved her chair out and away from the table. Even when he looked at her with hunger in his eyes. Even when he got down on his knees and breathed in her scent by putting his head by her neck. She sat there perfectly calm.

Inu Tashio’s beast roared in triumph inside. *Found her!* it yelled.

He breathed in her scent and sighed in bliss. He began to lick her neck and Kagome closed her eyes as she took in the feelings. He sucked on her collarbone making shocks of pleasure go throughout her whole body and end up between her legs.

*Found mate!* Inu Tashio’s beast roared again inside of his mind.

Inu Tashio feared for Kagome, but was amazed at this turn of events.

Kagome came out of her daze wondering why he had stopped. “Inu Tashio?” she asked sitting up on the bed.

Inu Tashio turned around and his gold eyes landed one the one thing he wanted, and at the moment couldn’t have.

“Kagome….” he tried to find the right words to say, but they didn’t come.

“It’s alright Inu Tashio. I know you don’t want me. I’m sorry.” Kagome said as she burst into tears.

“What?” Inu Tashio asked totally shocked.

“Sesshomaru didn’t want me, why would you want me?” Kagome said as she continued to cry.

Inu Tashio finally got what she meant and sat down on the bed next to her. He grabbed her and pulled her into his lap. Hugging her to him closely.

“For one thing you’re the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen in my life. Two you are loyal, honest, caring, kind, and respectful to those around you. Third… I love you deeply.” he whispered the last one.

Kagome looked up at him shocked at what she heard.

“If that’s true, then why didn’t you take what I was offering?” she asked.

“You would have hated me if I did. You still have things you need to clear up. If you return then I will take you… but only if you’ll have me.” Inu Tashio said with a slight smile.

Kagome’s eyes grew wide. She looked at him in a different light now. She moved up so that she was sitting in his lap. She looked into his lovely gold eyes and kissed him deeply.

Inu Tashio gasped and that’s when she plunged her tongue inside. She felt his fangs and ran her tongue up and down them. When she pulled away her eyes were shinning and she smiled a sweet smile.

“Why wouldn’t I want you Inu Tashio, your everything a girl could ever need and then some.” she said as she just laid back down in his arms and he hugged her tightly.
