Sesshomaru sighed. "Father is having a formal party and it's for certain guests, so you can't join this time. I'm sorry Kagome." he said looking at her with sorrow.

"It's alright. I know that your father is a Lord and all of that so you need to impress these certain guests." she said being a little bit over sarcastic.

"Awww come on Kags.... we will be able to hang out sometime... I'm almost positive of it." Sesshomaru tried to cheer her up by giving her a loving hug.

"Alright... alright... Now put a smile on these lips and give me a kiss." she said pouting and looking him in the eyes.

"Haha Kagome your incorrigible.... " he said before he bent down and kissed her on the lips... his hands moving to her ass and lifting her up so she had to wrap her legs around his hips.

"I wonder where I get it from..." she whispered into his ear as she gave it a nip and sucked it between her lips.

Kagome fixed herself up and turned with a bright smile on her face. "Why hello Mrs. Kadae. I was just fixing his shirt. That is all. No harm done here." she said as she put her hands in her pockets and keep her smile plastered to her face.

"I was young once too dear. Don't let me catch you doing anything.... like that again inside this school Miss Kagome or it will be a one-way ticket out of here for you." Mrs. Kadae said. Then she turned on her heal and left the cafeteria.

Kagome folded her arms over her chest and turned in time to just barely catch the wide grin that Sesshomaru was sporting.

"Are you trying to get me expelled Mr. Sesshomaru?" she asked giving a grin of her own, completely throwing Sesshomaru for a loop.

"No... Why would I want that to happen. Then we wouldn't go to the same school anymore, and I wouldn't be able to see you every day." he said looking at her with amusement.

"You should have told me she was coming Sess. Geez... freaking prick." she said the last part under her breath.

"What was that?" Sesshomaru asked, clearing hearing it but wanting to put her on the spot.

"Oh nothing." Kagome said as she walked out of the cafeteria with a smile and a little laugh.

*What am I going to do with her? Hmmmm maybe I should think about that a little bit more.* Sesshomaru thought to himself.

-Saturday Night-

"Father?" Sesshomaru asked looking over to his father.

Inu Tashio was busy getting ready for their guest.

"What is it Sesshomaru?" he asked.

"I was wondering if I could get out early to go hang out with Kagome?" he asked with his head bowed in respect to his father.

"I am not sure at this moment in time. There is a lot that needs to be settled on tonight. You need to be here for most of it, but if I see fit that you do not need to be here then I will let you go." Inu Tashio turned back to what he was doing, dismissing his oldest son.

"Yes father." Sesshomaru said as he bowed out of the room.

He walked down the hallway in deep thought. *What is so important that I need to be present?*

"So Kags are we going out or what?" asked Kagome's best friend Sango.

"Duh... When do we not go out on a Saturday night?" Kagome replied.

"Ha you got me there. So what are you going to be wearing tonight?" Sango asked.

Kagome went into her closet to find something to wear that night. She had already showered and was wrapped up in her robe. *What to wear.. what to wear* she thought to herself.

She pulled out some old blue jeans, that had a couple of holes in the knees and some other places up on her thighs. She throw them out onto her bed and then continued to look. She soon found a black top with a silver dragon on it. The neckline was outrageously low in the front and the back... well there was barely any. She loved it! She throw that out as well and then went hunting for shoes. She located her silver high heels and walked out of the closet.

Sango looked at her outfit with a raised eyebrow. "Umm you sure that those jeans will look good with that top and shoes?" she asked.

"Do I look like I care. As long as I like it, it shouldn't matter now huh?" Kagome asked Sango.

"Yeah sure... if you say so." she replied with a doubtful look on her face.

"Trust me alright." Kagome said and Sango just sat down on the bed waiting for her friend to get dressed.

Kagome went into the bathroom to get dressed.

"Damn all the guys are staring at you Kags." Sango said as they walked into the club.

"I know... I told you this would look great together." Kagome said smiling at her friend.

"So you did." Sango said smiling at her beautiful friend.

"Let's dance!" Kagome yelled towards her friend in order to be heard over the music.

"Alrighty then!" Sango yelled back grabbing Kagome and taking her on the dance floor.

Kagome and Sango felt the music and started dancing. Everyone started to watch them, because they looked so hot dancing up on each other the way they were. Kagome was grinding her ass up on Sango and Sango was grinding back and touching her own body. They were dancing and it didn't matter that there was suppose to be a guy instead of another girl... they didn't care. They started shaking their hips and then they each grabbed someone and added them into it.

Sesshomaru sat at the dinning table, bored and confused. Sitting across from him was a girl and an older woman... both staring at him. He didn't know why they were there, but he didn't like it one bit. He looked over at his father, waiting for something to be said.

Inu Tashio knew there was going to be a problem. Hell he was having problems with it as well.

"Why are you here, just come out and say it, so that I can move on with my night!" Sesshomaru yelled across the table.

"Alright then... before you were born Sesshomaru-sama you were betrothed to my daughter. You are both of age and can be mated. That is why you are here. I am sorry if this may not seem as important as being with your little slut of a girlfriend, but it is." the older woman said.

Sesshomaru's heart stopped and he looked at his father. "Father?" he whispered.

Inu Tashio felt like the scum of the universe. For years he has been trying to get around this betrothal and for years he has gotten no where. He knew his son would hate him now for all time. He knew Sesshomaru loved Kagome and wanted to mate with her.

"It is all true. But Abigail-sama you will not speak about Kagome like that ever again, do you understand me?" Inu Tashio said.

The older woman, Abigail, nodded her head. "I meant no offence Inu Tashio-sama. It is only that he should be focusing on winning my daughter and not some poor human girl." she said.

"She is not some poor human girl or a slut of a girlfriend. She is the love of my life and you will treat her with respect. You will not bad mouth my Kagome in such a manner. Or I swear here and now I will rip out your throat." Sesshomaru said standing up.

"If you think you can. But that is besides the point. You can not see this Kagome anymore Sesshomaru-sama. You must spend time with your future mate now. No more of this Kagome business." Abigail said as she too stood up.

Sesshomaru growled at her and she sat back down faster than anything with her eyes shocked. Sesshomaru's eyes were flickering from gold to red and back again. "I spend time with my future mate every single day. My future mate is not your daughter, and never will she be. I am sorry, but I love another and it wouldn't be fare to your daughter. Did you ever think of that, or is it the title and money that comes with me that you are so stuck on?" Sesshomaru said.

"Sesshomaru! That is enough! You are free to go tonight, seeing as you are not doing so great." Inu Tashio said.

"Fix this father. Or else I will mate Kagome and to hell with honoring this damn... this damn betrothal!" Sesshomaru yelled and then turned on his heel and was out of the room before Abigail could say anything more to him.

Sesshomaru got changed into some jeans and a black shirt. He put his hair up in a low ponytail and walked out to his car. He got into the car and drove to the club that he was sure Kagome would be at.

Kagome and Sango were sitting at the bar drinking some kind of mix they talked the bartender into giving them. All of a sudden Sango's lover bumped into them.

"Hey (hick) Kagome (hick) my beautiful (hick) Sango." Miroku said as he sat down next to Sango.

"Hey Miroku!" Kagome said.

"Miroku if you don't keep your hands to yourself tonight I'm going to rip one off and shove it up your ass!" Sango yelled as Miroku went to grab her ass.

Kagome just laughed at them.

"Kagome are you going to sing tonight?" Miroku asked.

"I don't know. Maybe." Kagome said. She would sing every once in a while here at the club and she would make 500 dollars doing that. Which was great, but she just didn't feel like it tonight.

"Oh someone missing their boo?" Sango teased.

"Shut up!" Kagome nudged her and smiled at the same time.

"Come on Kags I wanna hear you sing tonight. Please." Sango begged.

"Oh alright." Kagome said as she got off of the barstool she was sitting on and went to go talk to the manager.

Sesshomaru walked into the club and saw Kagome talking to the manager and then he spotted Sango and Miroku sitting at the bar.

He walked over and took Kagome's empty seat.

"Hey Sesshomaru." Sango said.

"Yo Sesshy... what's up?" asked Miroku who was drunk off his ass and barely able to stay on his seat.

"Hey Sango. Miroku we may be friends, but don't call me Sesshy again.. I don't care if your drunk I'll still kick your ass." Sesshomaru said smiling at Sango who was smiling right back knowing full well he wouldn't do anything to a friend.

"What is Kagome doing?" Sesshomaru asked.

"She's going to sing me a song (hick)." Miroku said.

"Oh is she now." Sesshomaru said winking at Sango who was trying to contain her laughter.

"Yup (hick) it's a love song too. (hick) You know I gotta keep my bitches in line." Miroku said before he fell on his ass as Sesshomaru moved his foot to topple it over without Miroku noticing.

"Is that so?" Sesshomaru asked with a grin as Sango was busting up laughing.

"Yeah.. I'm sorry Sesshomaru, your just not enough for a girl like her." Miroku said as he picked himself up off the floor and was able to get the stool up and sit down again.

"Oh and you are?" Sesshomaru asked all in good humor. He knew Miroku wasn't sure what he was saying cuz he was drunk as all hell.

"Uh huh." Miroku said.

The lights dimmed a little bit and everyone looked at the stage as the owner got up to say something into a mike. "Ladies and Gentlemen it is a great honor to present to you for your entertainment our very own Kagome singing a song for you tonight. So give it up!" he said into the mike.

Everyone clapped they pretty much knew who Kagome was and they loved her songs. She always sung something different and completely her own. Of course Kagome had practiced with the house band so they knew the music to almost every song she had.

"Hey people. How you doing tonight?" Kagome asked into the mike.

There were some "good" and some "alright" and some "would be doing better if you got your sexy ass down here with me" and Kagome smiled and shook her head.

"Alright this song goes out to two of my best friends. They know who they are. No offence intended though, so don't get upset." Kagome looked over to Sango. Of course Sango knew which song Kagome was going to sing and she shook her head. It was a song they had worked on about Sango's feelings kinda.

The music started to play and Kagome moved her body along with it. It was loud and a mix between rock, pop, and something else.

Sesshomaru looked up from his drink to look at Kagome as she worked the stage.

Miroku frowned deeper and turned away from Sango as he waited for Kagome to finish her song.

Kagome finished and the crowed cheered for her to do another one. She politely declined and jumped down from the stage and walked over to her friends.

Sango looked over to Miroku and then back over to Kagome. Kagome looked at Miroku too, but shrugged her shoulders. Sesshomaru was drinking his drink and moved over one seat so that Kagome could sit in her seat.

"Thank you." Kagome said as she gave him a small kiss.

"No problem." Sesshomaru said returning the kiss.

"Is that how you feel about me?" Miroku all of a sudden asked.

Kagome and Sesshomaru looked over to see him standing in front of Sango.

"Miroku..." Sango didn't know what to say.

"No just answer the fucking question. Is that how you feel?" Miroku yelled getting the attention of a few people that were close enough to hear him.

"Yes... it is." Sango said while putting her head down some.

"That's all you had to say." Miroku said and then he was gone. He walked out of the club into the night.

"What did I do?" Sango asked Kagome and Sesshomaru.

"Nothing Sango. He's just realized that he hurts you too much." Kagome said.

They all walked out of the club in search for Miroku.
