Inuyasha's Betrayal

Kagome was thinking to herself while driving home after school.
*I do love Inuyasha, but things changed between us.... It's not like it use to be at all.... I still remember that special night....*
***FLASHBACK***
Inuyasha had taken me out for dinner and a movie... then we had walked down the beach together. It was around midnight then and we had just got done with the movie.
It was beautiful that night with all the stars out. The waves looked like they glowed with the moon and starlight. It was breathtaking really. I had seen the ocean like that before but tonight it seemed so much more.
Inuyasha had been a little bit quieter than usual and I was starting to think something was wrong.
We sat down in the sand, not minding the clothes. We just sat there and looked out over the water.
I looked over at Inuyasha and noticed that he seemed in deep thought. I was worried that maybe I had done something wrong. So I took a deep breath.
"Inuyasha?" I said.
Inuyasha looked at me and then he blushed "Sorry about that Kagome... I just have a lot on my mind lately. I have decided something though... Something important... about us."
"What is it Inuyasha?" asked Kagome.
Inuyasha smiled at me and then reached into his pocket to bring out a lil velvet box. I gasped and looked back up at him, and then back at the box, then back at him again.
Inuyasha laughed at me. He opened the box and there in the middle was a silver ring with three diamonds in it. It was beautiful... just beautiful.
I honestly didn't know what to do. I didn't even know what he was asking me really. We had only been dating six months now... it was too soon for marriage and all that. Wasn't it?
"Kagome you know I love you.... right?" asked Inuyasha.
He honestly didn't know what to say really.. He was nervous. He had been wanting to give her the promise ring all night. But, when it came time for it he didn't know how to do it.
"Yes Inuyasha I know that you love me... just as I love you." said Kagome.
Inuyasha smiled and then put the ring on her finger. "Wear this and know that I will always love you no matter what. This I promise you."
Kagome was so happy. She hugged Inuyasha and gave him a kiss on his lips.

Kagome had tears in her eyes as she pulled up in the driveway at her apartment.
She went to open the door when she looked at the ring. She still wore it. She knew that things had changed, but she still had hope that they would find a way to fix things between them.
She dried the tears and made her way to the front door.
The minute she walked inside she heard panting and voices. She followed them all the way to her room and stopped.

Inuyasha was laying down on his back with Kikyou straddling him. They were sweaty and panting heavily. Kikyou already had three orgasms and Inuyasha was going for his second one.

Inuyasha and Kikyou left Kagome in her room. Inuyasha had never seen Kagome like this.
She had tears in her eyes, but she wouldn't let them fall. Her eyes held hurt and anger and hatred.

Kagome packed her suitcase with some clothes for a couple of days. She grabbed her school things and supplies.
Kagome put all her things in her car. She went back to her bedroom door and locked it closed. She didn't want anyone messing with her things.
Inuyasha came up to her.
"Kagome... we need to talk about this." he said.
"No we do not need to talk. I have tried talking to you before. I have had enough. I'm leaving Inuyasha and I will only come back to get the rest of my things.." said Kagome.
Inuyasha was stunned. He hadn't meant to hurt her this way. Now he watched as Kagome walked out the door. He went to the window and watched as she got into her car and drove away. He felt terrible for the first time in his life.
