(Sobs ) i'm sorry!! I thought people didn't like the story i didn't want to waste your time or mine to keep writing if no one was reading! So remember review! Also i really weighted the idea of inuyasha still as a hanyou but, in the end he just fit so much better as a human. It makes it so she has to protect him, it makes him the weak figure. But he's still male making him strong, also Kagome has her own period of weakness. So lets see what happeness when i write that chapter...

Kagome shot up from her sleeping spot her dark eyes wide and her chest panting, her black Kimono ruffled along with her red obi. That's when a scream along with smoke brought Kagome out of her waking nightmare. Turning her head towards the village she watched as a large demon tore threw huts. That's when a flash of the village protecter's face ran threw her mind. Without thinking she was on her feet running to the village.

At the outside of the village she saw him. His ebony hair free from his low pony, his face was smeared with blood along with his already red clothes. He was hardly standing as he shot arrow after arrow at the demon's, at time's throwing small like swords at them as will. Having seen enough Kagome ran in front of him, not understanding why she was helping the human protecter.

"BEGONE HALF-BREED!!" His voice hissed behind her. Kagome narrowed her eyes as she stared down the demon's.

Kagome pulled all the hari's holding up her hair and ran at the demon when close enough she threw them into one of his eye's an grin as he squealed from pain. The demon's eye dripping blood he came running at her, Kagome showed off her claws like nekote's as she slammed her hand into where his heart laid. Giving the demon's heart a twist as she pulled it back showing the demon his bleeding heart in her hand.

"Whoop's. Guess you need this, huh?" Kagome said smuggly as the demon dropped dead before her.

Kagome's ears flicked back to hear the sound of villager's calling for the man behind her, Kagome knew any closer and they would shoot at her without thinking. Jumping up in the tree she watched as people came. She mostly watched one.. A female, her pin straight black hair and blank black eyes popping out against her pale skin as she rushed to the village protecter's side.

"INUYASHA-SAMA" the women's voice sounded like she was about to lose a lover.

Kagome watched as the protecter's legs finally gave out on him. Kagome almost jumped out of the tree an went to him and then she felt like slapping herself. How dare this human make her feel like protecting him.

"Lady Kikyo, we should get him to your hut and fix him up." Said another villager as two men grabbed the protecter and carried him away.

Kagome didn't like something about this village protecter he had made her acted without thinking. She had protected him without cause to herself and now here she was sitting outside this "lady Kikyo's" hut to make sure he was okay. Deciding to wait against her better judgement Kagome feel asleep in a large tree only a few feet away in case of another demon attack.

Morning came, hitting Kagome in the face it's bright light making her growl. Sitting up Kagome looked down at the little hut to notice the protecter gone. Frowning she jumped from tree top's to find him limping down a dirt path bow in hand, his face winching from pain every now an then when he stepped on a rock. That's when he paused and Kagome perked up her ears.

"Come down here..." His voice was tired and demanding.

Kagome almost jump but, she jumped down from the tree and stood a good ways from him his back still to her. Kagome's clawed hand went tight on a bag of metsubishi in case of emergency. Before Kagome could blink she was in a hug. Her head along with her ears were pinned under a strong jaw, warm arms held her body tight. Kagome's hair was knocked lose on impact an ran free down to her hips.

"Thank you..." His voice was soft and thankful, things Kagome had never heard before.

Kagome didn't get to think about it much more because he had let her go and was walking down the dirt path. Kagome jumped back up in the tree's and kept fallowing him. That week when ever Kagome even felt a demon close she was the first to attack, throwing a shuriken into their head's or heart's. Kagome never gave them a chance to get close to the protecter...

Then one day Kagome saw him sit down in front of a tree in a far valley so she sat down 2 trees down. She knew, he knew she was there.

"You don't need to fallow me half-demon." Kagome's eye's looked at him, with a glare.

"Kagome, protecter" She hissed, the protecter's sun like eye's darted over to her tree.

"Inuyasha.Now come sit down here" Kagome didn't know how far she was willing to go with this Inuyasha. Going with it anyway she sat a good yard ruler away from him.

As soon as she sat down he asked the question that had been bugging him and she had been dreading.

"Why did you help me that day ?.." His voice was calm but ruff. Kagome's pale face blushed.

"I'm not really sure. Why did you hug me, to thank me." Kagome said and watched as inuyasha's face turned a slight pink on his tan cheeks.

"I-um...keh.." He said pouting turning his head away from her so she couldn't see his face.

Kagome broke out laughing her giggles surprizing her. Inuyasha turned his head back round to see Kagome shocked face and looked alittle concerned.

"Whats the matter?" Inuyasha said worried about her. Her dark eye's were sad and distant.

"It's been so long since i laughed." Kagome said without thinking.

Kagome came back to reality facing gold colored eye's and realized she was getting to close. Getting up Kagome ran into the forest not looking back when her name was yelled. She grabbed onto a large tree as silent tears fell out of her midnight blue eyes. From now on she would protect Inuyasha from away and not speak to him.

Darn this chapter looks short.......That SUCKS!! I'm so pissed for you guys(for people who like the story anyways) I get so mad when stories i like have short dinky chapters and now i wrote one. Sorry this one took some real mojo this is like the 3rd time i wrote it, one time i had rin in it another was a different fight sence. So blah. Next chapter may take longer to write but, will be a longer chapter i SWEAR!! Remember review, cause it really made me want to get this chapter out!!
