INUYASHA'S BETRAYAL
CHAPTER 3: INUYASHA'S BETRAYAL

Waking to find herself snuggled against inuyasha safe and warm she closes her eyes to drift off back to sleep. Just as she is about to slip back into oblivion she hears inuyasha whimper in his sleep.
“Kikyou I would follow you into hell, I love you” he says in his sleep before turning away from kagome and curling into the fetal position as far from her as possible.
Kagome looks at him with unshed tears glistening in her eyes before silently getting up from the bed and gathering a few shirts, pants and intimates for her long trek. Masking her sent she leaves her room silently and heads to the well. Just as she lets go of the ledge and slips into the feudal era she lets go of her pain screaming at the top of her lungs. Letting the anguished feeling of complete betrayel take over. Her miko powers flaring wildly. With one thought she made her way out of the well and was flying over the lands toward the one she least expected to go to. As she made it to sesshomaru’s castle her powers gave up on her and she passes out midair.
Sesshomaru sensing a powerful aura gets up from his desk, the hair on te back of his neck bristle in awareness of the waves of pure anger and pain radiating from the strange aura. Stepoing outside to see what was coming at him so quickly he snarls as he smells the miko kagome with inuyasha overpowering sent laced with hers. Her lithe form laying on the ground for all to see outside his castle. All her energy gone only a small flicker of her miko energy left behind in comparison with just a few seconds earlier.Crimson tears track down her cheeks. She cries blood? No, she does not cry blood I have seen her tears. There is something wrong with this sesshomaru’s chosen.
Kagome in the recesses of her mind~~~~~
Inuyasha how could you betray me so? You said you loved me? Why would you do this to me. I was ready to give you everything I had, everything that I was and ever could be.Now I have nothing left nothing to live for. I will just stay in here and wait do die. This life is not worth living anymore. This torment I have been throught is enough. I am ready to let go and just be set free. Reunite my soul with kikyou’s and go back into oblivion.I loved you inuyasha. Dear kami what did I do to deserve this pain.? ‘ slowly I feel the layers of my mind block being undone and someone probing my mind’ NO leave my mind it is not to been seen by others.
Sesshomaru uses a little of his strength to pick her up and swiftly moves her to his room laying her on the futon filled with silks and embroidered pillows neatly placed in specific spots. As he layed her donw his face became soft at the thought of her coming to him in her obvious grief.
Ever so gently he begins to probe her mind trying to figure out what had happened to cause her so much pain.
‘Its not worth it any more...just let me die..I have nothing left. Just let me go please dear kami just let me go’ kagome thinks as she devels deeper into her mind trying to find anything that will make it less painful.
Sesshomaru now inside her mind hears what she is thinking and furrows his brow.
‘ why does she think she has nothing to live for...this sesshomaru will never allow his intended to kill herself. No matter what pain she is going through I shall have her as a mate.’
“No..please let me die” kagome says as she resurfaces from the recesses of her mind.
“ you shall do no such thing” sesshomaru says icily trying to perturb her from trying to do such a atrocious act.
Kagome at hearing the familiar yet distant voice flinches. “Please leave me alone, I have nothing left to live for” she chokes out before the tears start to stream from her closed eyes. Her body heaving from the force of it.
Sesshomaru not knowing what to do takes her in his arm and tries to comfort her by growling in a smooth low tone. He stiffens suddenly when she throws herself into his shoulder sobbing her little heart out.
Kagome not really knowing who she was sobbing on just keeps crying letting her emotions flood through her. Taking every last ounce of strength she had in her with one final sob she slips into the dark oblivion of exhausted sleep.
