chapter 3

“If you make another move like that bitch, I will break both your arms then throw you to those slave traders” his voice almost masculine, caught in her ear.

“Fine” she snapped under her breath, red eyes full of rage.

He smiled in her ear delighted by her lack of putting up with a fight.

“Good girl” he muttered smoothly pulling her closer to his hard chest.

He continued talking slowly, hot breath still teasing the fine hairs of her neck.

Kagura eyes narrowed down listening attentively, her wings where pin rigidly to her back sending small waves of discomfort threw out her body.

“On three I am going to jump up to that large branch looming just above, I’m taking you with me if you like it or not” he snarled gold eyes studying the couture of her tilted face.

Kagura glanced up at the branch. It had to have been at least 30 feet high. The demon covered her mouth before she could utter a single word in protest.

He glanced up at the tree measuring its distance between the ground and branch; standing up briskly with the young angel griped between his arms.

He sprang up from of the ground with speeds and height not possible to the laws of man.

Kagura closed her eyes trying to hold back the churning feeling in her belly, she felt as if she was just on a roller coaster ride.

The feeling came to an abrupt stop when he reached the sturdy branch shifting her weight hi his arms.

Her eyes opened slowly then widened when she took in the sight of just how high they really where off the ground her body still dangling in his arms stiff in fear.

The demon lord chuckled lowly at the angel.

“Feh a bird that is afraid of heights, priceless” his voice rumbled in his chest like thunder.

He leaned back into the support of the tree’s trunk, and then slid down lazily with the girl until he sat up straight with her propped like a child on his lap.

He parted his long legs letting them dangle from both sides of the tree branch so he could take advantage of Kagura being closer to him.

Their bodies spooned together perfectly as if he were yin and she where yang.

He rested his head on her shoulder taking in her engaging scent.

“You’re very pretty . . . ” he trailed off letting his talons run through soft black curls.

“Pretty things don’t live long here in the Forest of The Dead” he continued purring in her ear like a satisfied feline.

He continued to play with a few strands of silky hair rolling it between his index and thumb before bringing it to his lips to feel its texture.

The young demon let his eyes shift lower to her breast, studying the way they would rise and fall with each breath.

They were plentiful; just begging to be released from the confinements of her gold embodied gown.

Kagura gritted her teeth in irritation trying to inch away from him but his arms only tightened more.

Kagura took in a ragged breath then averted her ruby eyes to the forest floor below.

“What do you want from me?” she asked, voice rising a bit higher then she had intended to.

“You have nothing I want wench” he replied back briskly, trailing his long fingers from her shoulder blade down to her collar bone.

His claws grazed the entrance of the valley between her breasts seeping between the soft mounds.

“You wouldn’t dear try to...try to rape me bastard” she snapped, her lips lengthening to a faint bitter smile.

Red hues flickering over his wandering hand heedfully.

“Do you honestly think you would have the power to stop me” he retorted back, lips curling up into a sick taunting smile.

He watched as she lifted her jeweled fingers brushing them hesitantly along his before getting the nerve up to pray his own from her bosom.

Anger rose up is his chest like a barn fire, adding fuel to his already foul mood he growled in her ear like a wild animal readies to attack.

Mixed emotion began to flood her senses, was it terror or hatred she was feeling both battle one another.

Her head rolled back onto his shoulder as thick lashes drift lower till everything shrank down to only a slant of light.

She let her fingers go limp falling back in place at her lap.

The young demon lord closed his eyes then opened them once again merely looking up at her immobile lips fondly.

“Calm down already, I’m not going to rape you” he grunted, leaning back till his head took comfort against the hard wood then commenced to removing his own hand from the concave of her breast.

He spoke huskily into her hair once again, but voice laced thick in annoyance.

“Feh, If I was going to fuck you I would have done it by now. You give into easily wench, he won’t like that but then again he might not like you.” He warned, smoothing out the jet black ringlets with the side of his face.

-I give in too easily, ah yes Naraku . . . you have finally broken my will, I have no fight left in this body. Do as you will with me, I don’t care anymore.

Kagura opened her eyes slowly staring up at the lifeless tree top not really giving in too much thought to what he said, but it didn’t really matter.

“I am going to leave you up here while I tend to some unfinished business think of leaving this branch and ill kill you or better yet ill rape you then kill you” he lips grazed the tip of her ear kissing it before he vanished from the branch.

Kagura fell back, her head hitting the trunk, her back slumping under.

She let out a loud “humph . . . ”trying to gather her self up without losing her balance.

Her lids shifting downwards to the handsome stranger looking up at her with a thin smile curling at the right corner of his mouth.

Her lips furled in a sneer, eyes rolling to the side averting her gaze away from his cocky stare she let out a soft groan fingering her bangs before settling back against the trunk.

The stranger shifted his gaze, golden hues glazing over in anticipation. He was about to go have a little fun with the slave traders before stealing their precious cargo.

He wasn’t worried about the angel. He had her boxed in preventing her from leaving.
And even if she did.

She would not get too far.

- I have to get down from here...shit, im scared I can’t move.

What now, that asshole knew what he was doing when he left me up here.

I close my eyes tightly; they twitch uncontrollably with fear, I don’t think I can reopen them but I must. And so I do. I began to nibble on my lower lip in agitation watching the young demon with the beautiful sliver hair unsheathe his miraculous sword.

Its stainless blade grew large in length and swooped down wide curving up at the tip.

He swung it once as if testing it out before slumping it over his right shoulder like some sort of sack.

He glances up at me once more smiling from ear to ear like a mischievous child in the act of a prank.
I wanted to slap his face till it turned black and blue for placing me up so damn high from the ground.

He let out a haughty laugh mocking me as he strode off toward the direction the slave traders came.

I wanted to go after him but there was no point in that I was jumping ahead of my self like always how could I go after him when I couldn’t even get down from this terrible tree.

He’d only ignore me like every other male specimen seems to do whenever I chose to speak.

Such degrading bastard’s they are all of them, filthy, deceiving, self-centered pricks.

I hate you all I muttered softly into the wind hoping it would carry my words to every single one of their ears, especially that pathetic excuse for a demon lord, Naraku.

I began to fumble with my hair twisting it around my index finger like always whenever in a situation I could have no control over.

Naraku was not my main problem at the moment. I had to get down from this godforsaken tree and as far away from that man and those slave traders.

The thought of flying had crossed my mind for the second time today but the more I tried to expand my wings and flap them the more pain would surge throw out my body.

They never completely healed properly after Naraku had broken them.

“Perhaps I could just glide down” my thoughts formed at my lips trailing off as I tried once more to stretch my wings.

My back arched out as I gripped at the tree branch.

The familiar feeling of pain shoots up my spine making my eyes tear up and body trembles in pain.

The painful sensation was almost unbearable but I continued to struggle, managing enough wing span to glide down.

My heart fell to the pit of my stomach as I look down fearing the worst to come of this.

But it was now or never, it was either stay in this tree and wait for that man to come back and rape me or be sold by those two horrid slave traders.

I stood up briskly balancing on the branch before closing my eyes shut and jumping.

The wind caught under my wings making my body drift down slowly to the damp soil.

I dropped to my knee recoiling my wings back up against me back panting like a wild animal in pain.

I gathered my self up stiffly as if I just had stepped into a freezing bath. My body ached, my leg burned. But this didn’t matter, I had to make my escape before anyone saw me . . .

Kagura observed the forest floor briefly before sprinting off in the opposite direction the strangers came. She drifted through the dying trees gripping onto the front of her now ripped gown tightly.

The smell of danger lay thick in the once eerie air. A thick fog was rolling over the forest like a blanket clinging to her skin like a coat of sweat.

She stumbles tripping over the hem of her grown clumsily.

Kagura let out a frustrated groan taking a hold of the hem once again she brought it up to her mouth sinking her teeth in the fabric, shredding the rest of the dress in spiral motion revealing milky white legs and gold painted toes.

She continued until the dress was shortened enough for better leg movement.

With the rest of the left over fabric she did the same thing shredding it in thin strips quickly while keeping her eyes roaming along the trees in caution.

She began to pull back the long mass of hair sweeping it up in a messy bun tied with the remainder of cloth.

The forest floor crackled like wood in a fire place. Crow like birds scattered from about the trees like roaches. Croaking loudly like high pitch pigeons.

Kagura gripped at her ears trying to block out the sound but only seemed to get louder. Other strange animals fled in the same direction as the birds as if they where all running from something.

Kagura took this sign into consideration running towards the same direction as the animals.

A strong gust of wind swept past her with such force; it knocked her forward onto her knees.

A blinding red light seeped through the soil splitting apart the earth and vaporizing all in its path.

Everything that had once graced the energy’s path was now turned to cinders.

The aftermath was just as devastating.

Plants and trees had caught aflame.

Kagura rolled over to her side her face arms, legs and wings covered in black soot, coughing uncontrollably from the black smoke.

Another strong gust of wind came from the right her causing her to roll into a tree stump.

The fire was put out as quickly as it where started.

Kagura managed to sit up propping her shaken form against the tree in hopes for some kind of support.

The silver haired man appeared before her gripping at the large sword leisurely.

He slumped eyes glaring daggers into her own.

“Didn’t I tell you to stay put woman, what are you trying to get your self fucking killed” he snapped.

Kagura “Did you honestly think I was stupid enough to stay in some tree just because you told me to. You’re sadly mistaken I don’t take orders from anyone so go to hell asshole” eyes sending daggers.

“Feh, take a good look around you lady were already living in hell”.

He leant forward into her face nose almost brushing the tip of her own, amber eyes mocking her.

Anger rose up in her chest rising to her cheeks making her blush in embarrassment.

She wasn’t going to take any more shit from another man.

She wasn’t def dumb nor blind and did not appreciate being treat like someone two years.

Without a second thought her hand came across his face laving a red mark along his cheek.

The young man sneered lips wrinkling up over sharp canines.

“You’re gonna pay for that” he spat grabbing her roughly by the wrist.

“INU-YASHA!!!”
The young man stood up straight towering over her slumped form like a statue.

“Ill deal with you later. Now get the hell out of here before you get hurt” his voice had softened from before.

Kagura nodded glancing over his shoulder at a horrid looking demon.
---------------------
It was one of the slave traitors from before, the short stocky one.

The young half demon by the name Inuyasha made my heart palpate.

His sudden display of concern toward my safety made me realize he wasn’t like Naraku.

Perhaps I was wrong for judging him so quickly.

I never experienced kindness or concern from a man.

I could not explain it I found my self praying for his safety more so then my own.

My heart ached for him and it frightened me with each beat.

The more I ran the more I thought of this Inuyasha.

Of his smell, his touch, his voice and though I had only known him briefly I longed for his company.

I wondered secretly what it would have been like if he kissed me
Would he taste of earth and spice?

I wondered what it would have been like to lie in his bed between his legs while my head rest upon his chest. Would his skin feel as soft as mine?

These thoughts were wrong but still my heart, my mind, my body yarned.

To know of him, this Inuyasha the beautiful half demon.

I came to a fork in the forest path and stopped catching my breath.

My leg wanted to buckle but I kept my footing and locked my knees in place.

I could hear them from the distance battling, blades clashing like raging thunder.

The sky lit up like a Strom was on the brink pouring.

I could smell it in the air the acid it made me sick to my stomach that smell.

I wanted to vomit, and I felt so nauseous.

I was so lost in thought that it took me moments to register the splitting path.

Right or left I tried too decided but better judgment wasn’t with me.

I ran down the left path without much consideration in it.

Just to my luck I happened to run into that larger ogre pulling along the slave girls.

I darted behind another tree hiding before he could see me.

The creature stopped gazing around the forest as he gripped harder at a large mallet.

He tugs at the chain hard making the slave girls stagger toward him.

“Stay” he muttered.

The human girls whimpered in discomfort but did as told.

“Fee! Fie! Foe! Fum!
I smell the blood of an Angelic One.Be he 'live, or be he dead,
I'll grind his bones to make my bread.”

The demon swung the mallet into the tree.

I ran out from under the collapsing tree.

The ogre had managed to slice the tree in half with just one thrust of his mighty weapon.

His beady eyes narrowed down to slits focusing on me.

“Curly Locks, Curly Locks,
Will you be mine?
You shall not wash dishes,
Nor feed the swine,
But sit on a cushion
And sew a fine seam,
And sup upon strawberries,
Sugar, and cream.”

He grinned as if he were satisfied with the verse.

I stepped back slowly as he stepped forward.

He swung the mallet cone agin this time only inches from coming in contact with my ribs.

The pressure from the weapon almost hitting knocked me back hard on to my rear end.

To be continued.
