Chapter 3
** I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA NOR DO I OWN ANY OTHER CHARACTER IN THIS STORY! **
Kagome locked the door behind her after entering the house. It was dark and
quiet. She walked over to the wall and flicked on the lights, the kitchen lit up.
She was about to run upstairs and grab a robe, when something on the counter
caught her eye. It was a not from her mother.
Kagome,
Your aunt Yuka is having some pregnancy problems so your grandfather
and I have gone to visit her in Osaka. Souta is staying with a friend for the
week. Grandpa and I shouldn't be gone too long, two weeks tops. I've left you
some money and there is plenty of food. Take care of yourself and the house.

Kagome sighed. 'Aunt Yuka, I hope her and the baby are okay' She walked
over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. She lazily looked over to the
microwave clock. "2 a.m., I can still get some sleep and maybe make it to
school" She took a couple of gulps of water and put it back in the fridge before
heading upstairs to her room.
Once in her room she peeled off the towel and used it to dry her hair. She dressed
in some green boxers and a white wife beater. Grabbing her brush, she walked to
her mothers room and out onto her balcony. She brushed her hair while looking at
the city. "Still so busy for being 2 a.m." she mused.
Kagome always envied her mother for having a balcony and the best view of the
city. She lingered there a while after brushing her damp hair. She closed her eyes
as a cool breeze hit her face helping to dry her hair a bit, a tear fell. "Inuyasha"
She whispered "I'm sorry..." She closed the balcony doors and walked out of her
mothers room to get some much needed sleep.
