They stared at eachother. InuYasha smiled.
“Great, i see the two of you already met!”
“When did you meet?”
“This is the stupid girl i was talking about!”
“This is the arrogant stupid guy from the mall!”
They gave eachother a look that could kill.
“Im going home, see you at school tomorrow Kags & Sango.”
“Wha...Wait!” InuYasha said.
“Let her go...We can still have a good time...” Sesshoumaru said.
Rin froze in her steps. He seemed to know exactly how to push her buttons.He was so god damn ann...
“Fine i’ll stay, just because i can.” She stated.
Sesshoumaru became noticable annoyed. During the whole movie , wich was almost 2 hours long he stared at her. Rin felt his eyes on her during the whole movie.
‘Let him stare if he thinks its so damn funny...’ she thought.
The night seemed to go to fast, and soon it was time for everyone to go home. Afterwards when it was only Sesshoumaru and InuYasha left, InuYasha looked at him.
“You should get to know her.”
He looked at him.
“Who?”
“You know exactly who i mean. Rin”
“Pff...I don’t care about others. Its a waste of time and emotions”
“I know, thats why you dont have friends.”
His eyes tinted red, as Sesshoumaru gave InuYasha a serious look.
“I can’t afford having friends. Not now atleast...The guy...whoever beat Kaguya uncouncious at Shirakawa, knew what he was doing. And im endangering you, just by being here.”
InuYasha smiled.
“Did you know her?”
For a moment he was stunned.
“The girl?”
He nodded.
“Yes.” He said. Plane and simple.
InuYasha knew his brother well enough to know that he shouldnt push it. He had a few scars to prove it.
At School, Following Monday.
Sesshoumaru stared at the principal.
“So...Mr Takashii this is your...uhm eight school?”
“Yes.”
“Well i hope you are gonna like this class and school better.”
‘I doubt it...’ he thought.
She pushed a button and her voice echoed through the speakers of the school.
“Mrs Mayidara, could you please come to the principals office, before your lesson starts, please.”
There where a few quiet minutes before she arrived. Suddenly a knock on the door was heard.
“Come in dear.”
She opened the door. Her hair was silver tinted, and fell over her shoulders, she must have been somewhere around thirty, he guessed.
“Ah, this is the new student? Hi, and welcome! I’m Shira Mayidara, and im your new teacher.”
“Hello.”
“Come with me and ill get you settled in.”
He followed her through the quiet corridors and finally they got to their classroom.
It was then he saw her. Rin. He sighed. This girl wasnt gonna be easy to avoid.

Rin ran through the corridors. She was late! The bell had rung five minutes earlier, and she stressed her heart out not to get detension. She rounded the corner at her locker and sighed with relief. Her class was still outside, the teacher was late. Quietly she snuck up against the wall. Kagome and Sango had more classes together than she had with any of them, this one, was one of the many she had alone. After a while her teacher finally arrived, and next to her was...Ah no! Sesshoumaru!
“Good Morning Class! Gomen for being late!” she smiled.
“Id like you to meet your new classmate. Sesshoumaru Takashii”
Everyone said hello to him and he nodded. She unlocked the classroom and the pupils quietly walked in. Rin seated herself by the window like she always did. To her surprise Sesshoumaru sat down next to her. She looked at him, but as usual his face didnt reveal anything.
“What?”
“Huh?”
“You stared.”
She looked at him.
“I didnt stare i just...Ah, never mind.”
She sighed and looked at the whiteboard. This was gonna be on looooooong lesson.

Sesshoumaru looked at the sentances on the paper. They made absolutely no sence to him. Rin seemed to be on page 18 while he was stuck on the first assignment. He sighed. It had always been boring to go to school. Suddenly he heard a small whisper from his side:
“Do you want help?”
He looked at Rin, whom smiled at him.
“No.”
“Okay.”
He sat the entire lesson, just staring at his paper, and realised that after 40 minutes it still didnt make sense. He actually considered asking her for help but by the time he had made his mind up, class was over.
He met InuYasha and the rest in the corridor.
“Hey, Sesshoumaru! “
His brother smiled at him.
“How did first lesson go?”
“Fine. Considering i sat next to Ms. Know-it-all here.”
For a moment Rin felt hurt by his coment. But then she made a quick reply.
“Atleast i know how to write. Your brother didnt use a single paper today, and when the class was over i was at assignment 18 and he hadn’t even begun!”
InuYasha, Kagome & Sango laughed at him.
************************ LATER ************************
During the day Sesshoumaru kept on noticing things that didnt add up to him. And by the end of the schoolday he knew he had to get a tutor, someone to helped him study. He set course to the principals office.
He knocked on the door.
“Yes?”
He opened the door and stepped inside.
“Ah! Mr. Takashii!” She smiled.
“What can i help you with?”
Sesshoumaru looked around in the room before answering her.
“I...I think i need some help in class.”
Her eyes widened.
“A tutor?”
“Hai.”
“Hmm....okay. “
He looked at her. She probably thought he was stupid. Damn wench.
“If you stop by tomorrow evening ill give you a tutor.”
He nodded and left her office. As he opened the school door the fresh air hit him. He took a deep breath and proceeded to the parking lot to wait for his brother. He should’ve ended now aswell. He waited for half an hour before InuYasha showed up. He was accompanied by Kagome And....Rin.
“Oi, have you been waiting long?”
“Half an hour.”
“Hey Sesshoumaru...” Kagome smiled.
He nodded. Rin looked at him.
“Hey.”
No answer. She sighed.
‘Oh well i can’t be friends with everyone, certainly not arrogant assholes.’
They got in the car. Sesshoumaru and Rin got stuck with eachother in the backseat, neither one of them enjoyed the situation. They arrived at Kagomes house first.
“Im just gonna go outside and say goodbye to Kagome.”
He unbuckled his seatbelt and went outside. Rin stared out the window. She had never been able to stand silence.
“So...uhm how was your day?”
“Good.”
“How did your assignments go?”
He stared at her.
“They are going fine” he stated quite annoyed with all the questions.
“Need any help?”
He sighed.
“No, i don’t! So why don’t you stop asking me all these questions and shut the fuck up!”
Rin unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door.
“Fine! I was just trying to be nice and act like an adult, have a friendly conversation!! But obviously thats not going to happen! Atleast not when im talking to a five year old!!” She screamed and slammed the door shut.
Sesshoumaru got out of the car.
“ It would be much easier to be around you if you could ever shut it!”
She picked up an apple from Kagomes yard and threw it in his head.
“Go to hell! I’m surprised your own parents can stand you!”
With those words hanging in the air, she left his sight. He clenched his fists and gnarled.
“God damn bitch!”
He looked and InuYasha and Kagome , they where both staring at him.
“WHAT?! Can we go home now?!”
“Sure” InuYasha said.
Rin threw herself on the couch. She was exhausted. What a day! And Sesshoumaru...that...that...aaah!! Gods she hated him! But he was incredibly good looking...that made it harder to hate him. The phone rang and interupted her thoughts.
“Rin.”
“Hello Rin this is Principal Kyoro”
“Oh Hello! What can i help you with?”
“Well uhm i just wondered, if you could use some sparetime in school.”
“Uhm sure...for what?”
“There’s a student that needs a tutor and well...It seems like every tutor is busy at those hours, when help is needed. So i thought that you might be able to help out. Well if you like to that is.”
Rin twisted her hair between her fingers.
“Sure.Where do we meet?”
“Come by my office tomorrow about 15 minutes before first lesson, and ill introduce the two of you!”
“Sure.”
“Thank you Rin!”
“Anytime, Bye” She said and hung up.
She yawned and picked up the phone to make a three-call with Kagome and Sango, they had to know about this!
AT THE TAKASHII MANSION.
Sesshoumaru was still angry as he left the car.
“You know, i don’t get why you two dont get along? She’s nice and..oh yeah you’re an ass! Sesshy come on, she didn’t do anything serious, i know her, more than i know you.”
“It’s not my fault that you don’t know me! I never wanted to go to all those private schools! I hated them, still do! I wanted to be a normal kid! And she asks too many questions!! She gets on my nerves, shes an idiot!”
InuYasha laughed.
“WHATS SO GOD DAMN FUNNY?!?!”
“You...haha....you have a crush on her don’t you?!”
“Don’t be stupid Brother, it doesn’t suit you!” he said angry and walked inside.
He started to calm down when he entered his room. He threw his bag on the floor. And kicked his shoes of. Then he sat down and opened a history book.
“Hopeless...” He mumbled.
“I could never get all this. I hope the tutor is good....”
AT RINS HOUSE.
Rin woke up by her alarmclock. She shut it off and sat up in her bed. After a while she got up and put clothes on. She waited for Inuyasha and Kagome to come pick her up. Meanwhile she grabbed a cup of coffe and a toast. After 20 minutes of boredom they finally arrived. She smiled , said her hello and started talking to Kagome.
“Are you nervous?!”
“Nah, it’ll be fine. I’ve teached before so...”
“I’d be nervous if i where you...” InuYasha said smiling.
She giggled.
“I’ll be fine, just drop me off over there so i can get there quicker.”
“Ok”
“Bye and good luck! I’ll see you later!”
“Bye!”
IN THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE.
Rin hurried up and opened the door.
“Im so sorry if i’m late! These hallways are packed with people!”
The principal smiled.
“It’s okay Rin, Come in and sit down.”
She walked towards the chair but stopped when she realised that Sesshoumaru sat in the one next to hers.
“YOU?!” What are YOU doing here?!”
“You seem to know eachother! Even better! Rin may i introduce your new student! Sesshoumaru this is your new tutor!”
They looked at eachother and moaned. This couldn’t be happening!
