Chapter Three: Explanations (Part 2 of 2)


Earlier that day…

Sango had woken up early to make breakfast when Miroku woke up and told her he was going to go and take a morning walk. She had wanted to go with him, but he said, much to her surprise, that he wanted to walk alone. She nodded and watched him go off.

The rest of the day for her had pretty much been the same. A weak demon attempted to terrorize the village, but she had killed it easily. Just as she was about to go have a walk of her own with Shippo and Kirara, she saw Miroku, Kagome, an Inuyasha approaching and walked over to greet them.

As they entered the hut, Miroku was the first to speak up.

“So…did you have fun last night?” Miroku asked, a perverted grin stretching across his handsome features. Sango’s eyebrows twitched as she took out her boomerang and hit the monk on his already sore head. Kagome turned a deep shade of red and Inuyasha growled out,

“Nothing happened the way you think it did, Miroku! Fuck, Miroku, can you just keep your mind outta the gutter for once?” Everyone nodded in agreement and Miroku just replied,

“Inuyasha, my friend, there is no use hiding the fact that…” Before he could finish, Sango had already bonked him over the head ONCE again leaving him in a heap on the floor. Kagome had already stopped blushing and was trying her hardest to break the VERY uncomfortable silence the hung in the air.

“Why don’t we…um…eat?” Suggested Kagome, handing everyone bowls and chopsticks. Everyone started eating except for Miroku, who was still lying on the floor, unconscious. After everyone finished eating, Inuyasha left the hut and jumped up into his favorite tree, closing his eyes even though everyone was aware he was doing anything but sleeping.

“Come on, Sango! Let’s go take a bath.” Sango agreed and the two girls stood up and walked off with there shampoo and what not. Inuyasha opened one eye and sat there watching them leave for the nearest hot spring.

“Ahhhhhhh…” Kagome sighed out as she sank into the wonderfully soothing spring. Sango soon joined her and they started talking and chatting until Sango asked a question that made Kagome blush all over again.

“So…did you and Inuyasha really…?” Sango didn’t have to finish it, because Kagome already knew what she was going to ask. She shook her head in a ‘no’ fashion and exclaimed,

“Sango! I can’t believe you would even believe a word Miroku would say!” Sango laughed a bit and when she calmed down, she replied,

“It’s not like that! I just want to know if it’s true! You know, between girl and girl? Come on, Kagome! Just tell me what he said!” Kagome paused and after a while she explained to Sango that he had admitted he loved her but they didn’t do anything intimate last night. Sango was shocked that such a stubborn hanyou would confess his love to her out loud.

“Well, have you ever dreamed of doing anything intimate with anyone?” Sango asked. Kagome started to blush again and whispered into Sango’s ear her answer. Sango was shocked to say the least. Kagome, this innocent girl, had such an erotic fantasy! Sango giggled. This was going to be interesting indeed!

As the two of them returned to the village, they were talking (again) just to pass the time when suddenly two dark arms reached down from the trees and took hold of Kagome. Kagome screamed and Sango quickly reached for her boomerang, cutting the horrible arms off Kagome resulting Kagome falling down. Sango was about to put her boomerang back, but more arms reached down from the trees and took hold of Kagome before Sango could even register what happened. Sango ran the rest of the way back and quickly told everyone what had happened. Inuyasha growled out some simple instructions and they were all off in search of Kagome.
