Aftermath
A/n: Not many warnings for this chapter, just some groping and/or fondling and Inuyasha’s and Kouga’s foul mouths. Also this is YAOI, just so we’re clear. Some OOCness perhaps in regards to Inuyasha’s treatment of his brother, but that will be explained later, when Myoga does that thing where he pops up out of nowhere to tell Yasha something about his nature that the poor kid had no clue about. I’m actually happy with how this chapter came out. Although after writing the scenes with Kouga and Inuyasha, I was tempted to add in a couple ‘urasai’s’ and a paper fan (if you get that, brownie points for you). God, those two cannot exist without bickering.
A little reminder: I think this would be considered AU. Set about five years after Naraku’s death. I haven’t seen the end of the series so pure speculation on my part. This fic centers solely on Kouga/Sessh, but I mention Miro/San and Inu/Kag. Just so there’s no confusion. Also Miroku and Sango’s daughter’s name is pronounced ‘Mo-A’ as in ‘ape.’
This story is being beta-ed, but I bring you the unbeta-ed one because I don’t know if I’ll be able to post this later and I wanted to get it out. I’ll put the edited version up as soon as possible. Thank you to Liz for being my beta. And thanks to everyone who reviewed. Individual responses are at the bottom (where they will appear from now on, providing people continue to review *big grin*).
Disclaimer: I think you can tell by this that the lovelies of Inuyasha do not belong to me. Except for Molochai and Moe, they’re mine.
Chapter Three: Aftermath
or
‘You’re my mate, damn it!’
Warmth and light filtered through his senses. The light beat against his eyelids and a disgruntled growl left him. He turned slightly into the warmth next to him. It was pleasant and his sleep muddled mind barely registered that it was strange that there should be living, breathing warmth so close to him while he slept. His mind supplied him with Rin. At times when dreams troubled her, she would curl up beside him. His nose twitched, taking in a scent that was not his Rin’s. The girl’s scent was light and delicate, reminiscent of the flowers she loved so much. But the scent that greeted him was the exact opposite, heavy with musk and earth and most definitely male.
Sesshoumaru’s amber eyes snapped open. With a soft snarl, he took in the arm draped possessively over him and the very bloody, very naked body pressed flush against his own. He shoved away the offending arm invading his personal space and pulled away from the demon. His body protested the sudden movement, a dull, burning ache manifesting in his muscles. He ignored it, choosing to keep his attention focused on the ebony-haired youkai that was just stirring awake, intent on finding out why this demon dared to touch him in such a way.
Kouga pushed his loose black hair out of his face and let out an annoyed growl at the rude awakening. “What the hell?”
Last night’s events flooded back to Sesshoumaru, making him wince internally and silencing his confusion. He remembered everything. Kouga, Molochai, the fight, losing control his instincts and…
He probed the tenderness on his neck, his eyes narrowing in annoyance at what he found. So in his heat, he had mated with the wolf. What a nuisance.
His hand connected with something smooth and soft and he looked down. It was his kimono, torn and somewhat bloody, but usable. He stood, slipping it around himself, his face an impassive mask.
Kouga pushed himself into a half sitting position, his weight resting on his arms behind him, a smug grin on his face. “Morning, lover.”
Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow. Lover? He thought not. “Your foolish delusions are not amusing, wolf. I am not your anything.”
“It’s a little late in the game to be playing hard to get,” Kouga responded. He stretched, hissing softly when the movement strained the healing claw marks on his back. “Damn it. Not that I minded you clawing the hell out of my back,” he shot Sesshoumaru a suggestive smirk, “but could you go a little easier next time? That shit stings.”
“And what, pray tell, led you to believe there would be a next time?” Sesshoumaru wrinkled his nose, his tone distracted. He was positively covered in the wolf’s stink. He’d have to remedy that.
“Didn’t hear you complaining,” Kouga muttered, just to realize that Sesshoumaru had walked away from him, not waiting for a response. “Hey, where are you going?”
Sesshoumaru’s bored monotone drifted back to him. “To wash your stench off, wolf.”
Mumbling something about arrogant dog demons under his breath, Kouga gathered up his clothes and went to catch up with the silver-haired daiyoukai. He fell in step with Sesshoumaru, occasionally glancing at his cold, expressionless face. Mentally he compared this Sesshoumaru with the wild, deadly beauty he had seen last night. Really they weren’t that different. Strip away the impassive mask, and the other was there, just waiting to come out. It was a tantalizing prospect, seeing just what it would take to bring out that side of the cold, regal inuyoukai. Kouga smirked. It would definitely be fun to try.
The daiyoukai narrowed his eyes slightly in annoyance. That obnoxious wolf’s scrutiny was beginning to become quite irritating. He couldn’t fathom why the fool hadn’t left him yet. Perhaps he should just kill him. Why he hadn’t already, he didn’t know. Something stayed his hand. The tenderness on his neck reminded him why he couldn’t just kill the wolf. The black-haired male was his mate and it went against his very nature to raise a hand against him.
So killing was out of the question. He’d just have to find another way to rid himself of the annoyance.
They came to a small pool, next to a river, the invasive sound of the rushing water taking over any other noise. Sesshoumaru dropped his tattered kimono on the rocks surrounding the pool and stepped into the cool water, mindless of the eyes on him.
He scrubbed at the dirt and blood that covered his white skin, and ran his claws through his long silver hair, loosing bits of grass and leaves from the silk strands. He heard Kouga moving about on the bank, but chose to ignore him.
Kouga leaned back against a tree; his arms folded over his chest, and watched Sesshoumaru bathe. If the inuyoukai was so intent on ignoring him, he might as well make the most of it. He hadn’t been paying that much attention to details last night, so he took the opportunity to study his new mate closely.
The water came up to flawless pale hips, effectively covering the daiyoukai’s lower half. Kouga trailed his eyes over Sesshoumaru’s alabaster skin. It was perfect, not a single scar or blemish marring its pristine perfection. Markings sloped down along his hips and wrists, their dark maroon color contrasting beautifully with his skin. He was gorgeous.
Power radiated off him with such intensity that it became an almost tangible thing, permeating the air with waves of icy energy. Sesshoumaru, with his white skin, silver hair and raw, chilling power, was a being made of moonlight and ice.
Sesshoumaru stepped out of the pool, shaking the water from his long hair. He pulled his kimono back on, still resolutely ignoring the other’s presence.
The wind drifted toward Kouga, carrying the inuyoukai’s clean scent with it. The wolf took a moment to savor the sweet smell as he pushed himself away from the tree. Then he frowned, sniffing the air again. Sesshoumaru’s scent was different somehow, and he couldn’t place just what was wrong with it.
He strode over to the daiyoukai, nose still twitching. Sesshoumaru sensed him coming and looked up just in time to see the wolf push him into a tree, pressing their bodies together as he buried his nose against the inu’s neck.
For a moment, Sesshoumaru was too shocked to do anything but stare. Never before had anyone dared to touch him without his permission, with the notable exception of Rin, and it startled him into inaction.
“What do you think you are doing? Unhand me immediately.” Sesshoumaru’s voice came out a deep growl, promising unspeakable torment if he was not obeyed.
Kouga’s warm breath fanned his neck and he forced himself not to shudder. His mind was screaming at him to push the wolf away and kill him for this disrespect, but his body wanted nothing more than to melt into Kouga’s touch. So he hung somewhere in between, his body tense and unresponsive, but he didn’t push the other away.
The wolf inhaled deeply, as if searching for something in his scent. “Your smell is different,” Kouga murmured against his neck. “There’s something wrong with it.”
Sesshoumaru’s eyes narrowed slightly. Briefly he wondered if he should be offended by that or annoyed at the other’s stupidity. He settled on the latter simply because he knew Kouga had not meant the comment to be offensive.
“Your idiocy is somewhat astounding, wolf. Are you honestly telling me you don’t know what that scent is?”
Kouga looked up at him, azure eyes wide with disbelief. His sniffed again and finally he was able to place the scent. Females of his tribe carried this scent when they were pregnant. But the fact that Sesshoumaru now carried the same scent was confusing as hell. The inuyoukai was a male. Males couldn’t get pregnant.
Sesshoumaru raised a silver brow at the wolf’s confused look. “How foolish. You mated with me not knowing what would come of it? Didn’t it strike you as somewhat odd that I was in heat?”
Kouga thought about that for a moment. The daiyoukai did have a point. Males didn’t generally go into heat either, except for a select few clans. The realization hit him and a broad grin stretched across his face. Sesshoumaru was carrying his pup.
The inuyoukai’s jibes at his intelligence also sunk in and he growled lowly. “It’s not my fault,” he defended himself. “You were kinda distracting.”
“Hn,” Sesshoumaru breathed. He made to push himself away from the tree. “Am I still distracting?” He surprised himself slightly by asking that question. He didn’t know what made him want to tease the wolf. It had just slipped out.
Kouga pushed back, pressing his body more firmly against the other. His grin took on a feral edge. “Definitely.”
Hands slipped around Sesshoumaru’s waist and lips crashed against his own. He gasped involuntarily, giving Kouga the chance he needed to slip his tongue into the other youkai’s mouth. The daiyoukai stood stock still, shocked into inaction for the second time that day.
His grip on his kimono loosed, and Kouga took the opportunity to slip his hands beneath it, caressing the smooth, pale skin. The wolf pressed his leg in between the other’s thighs, rubbing against him. Sesshoumaru forced back the moan that threatened to break from his throat. He pushed at Kouga’s arms half heartedly, once again torn between shoving him away and pulling him closer. Even though they were bound as mates, Kouga’s touch should not affect him this way. It was infuriating and wonderful all at the same time.
Kouga’s mouth moved down his jaw to his throat, warm slick tongue lapping at the sensitive flesh. Sesshoumaru swallowed another groan, his harsh panting filling his own ears. He clutched at Kouga’s arms, seeking something to hold him steady. One part of his mind still wanted to push the wolf away, but it was becoming quieter as his body took over.
A hand moved in between his legs and that made his decision for him. Sesshoumaru shoved Kouga away from him, a little harder than he’d intended because the wolf landed on his back and slid a good ten feet. At least his strength seemed to be returning.
When Sesshoumaru spoke, his voice came out a harsh growl. “Do not ever touch me without my permission again, wolf.”
Sesshoumaru was shaken. Shaken by his reaction to Kouga, shaken by his own inability to control himself, shaken by this whole situation, and that angered him. But he refused to show it outwardly. He let his face smooth back to his usual bored mask and he regarded the wolf coldly.
Kouga struggled to his feet, an angry snarl on his face. He advanced on the inuyoukai, anger and frustration radiating off him. Sesshoumaru, however, seemed completely unaffected.
“What the hell is your problem?” Kouga snarled. “You didn’t seem bothered by me touching you last night.” The wolf’s snarl turned into a smug sneer. “In fact, I remember you screaming for more.”
Sesshoumaru’s amber eyes flashed red and without thinking he crashed his fist into the other’s face, sending him sprawling to the ground once more. Kouga spat blood onto the grass. The punch had crushed his lip into his fang, tearing it.
“Speak to me like that again and I will silence you permanently.” With that, the daiyoukai calmly walked away, leaving Kouga fuming on the ground.
The wolf jumped to his feet, wiping the blood from his torn lip off his face. “Damn it, dog! Don’t you fucking walk away from me!”
Sesshoumaru made no indication that he cared or even heard; he simply continued his leisurely stride.

A long pained hiss sounded through the large, dimly lit room, soft light filtering through the papered screens. The thick metallic scent of blood filled the air. Molochai rewrapped the bandage on his shoulder, staunching the viscous crimson fluid that still seeped from the wound. The internal bleeding of his collapsed lung painted his lips as he coughed. The wound wasn’t fatal for a demon like him, but it did cause him a fair amount of pain.
Damn that wolf. The arrogant whelp would pay for this humiliation. He had been waiting centuries for the chance to claim Sesshoumaru. He would not allow anyone to take this from him.
Molochai’s cruel amber eyes bled red, and manic laughter filled the once still air.
No one would stand in his way. Not even Sesshoumaru himself.
- ~ - ~ - ~ - ~ - ~
Kouga sulked as he followed Sesshoumaru through a familiar forest, but his glares and grumbling were completely ignored by the inu. He’d given up yelling at the daiyoukai. His outbursts were met with an impassive, almost bored, expression from the silver-haired demon. And the one time he’d gone too far, he gotten another fist to the jaw for his trouble.
It was maddening. What hell was that arrogant bastard’s problem? He was acting like Kouga had taken advantage of him or something. It wasn’t like he was such a terrible choice for a mate. He was leader of the Wolf Demon tribe. Even after Naraku had driven his clan to near extinction, he’d managed to unite all the tribes in the north. He was Lord of the Northern Lands, a youkai lord in his own right, just like Sesshoumaru. And he’d be damned if he’d let that self-righteous inuyoukai treat him like he was beneath him.
A familiar scent caught his attention and he growled under his breath. Great, just what he needed. The familiar forest gave way to a familiar village. One he really didn’t want to see right now.
“Damn, why the hell are we here?” Kouga snarled.
Sesshoumaru spared him an irritated glance. “I am here to retrieve my servant and my charge. Why you insist on following me, I do not know.” Kouga opened his mouth to respond but the inuyoukai cut him off. “Nor do I care.”
Kouga growled softly, but made no further complaint. Sesshoumaru had a point. He didn’t have to go into the village with him, but an irrational protective urge forced him to follow the daiyoukai.
Sesshoumaru glanced over at Kouga. “Wolf.”
Said wolf looked up from his sulking, recognizing the only name Sesshoumaru had ever called him by. “What?”
“Inuyasha and his humans are not to know what went on between us. My brother might know that we are mated, by the scent or the mark, but beyond that he will know nothing.” The inuyoukai paused. “Am I understood?”
Kouga waved him off. “Yeah, yeah, mutt face can’t find out that I knocked you up, I got it.”
“Good.”
The humans of the village glanced nervously at them as they made their way toward where Inuyasha’s scent was the strongest. The scent of their fear made Kouga edgy, but Sesshoumaru seemed as unaffected by it as he was by everything else.
Inuyasha’s loud, abrasive voice greeted them as they neared his hut. He sounded upset, but that wasn’t unusual. The half-breed was always upset about something. When they saw exactly what it was that had Inuyasha so riled, Kouga almost burst out laughing, but managed to suppress it down to a snicker. The half-inu sat cross-legged on the ground, a scowl on his face as Rin chattered away at him, alternating between pulling his ears to get his attention and braiding his long white hair. Sesshoumaru did not smirk at the sight, he did not.
A look of pure relief crossed over Inuyasha’s face as he spotted his brother. “Sesshoumaru. Thank the gods. I never thought I’d be happy to see you, but I am.”
Sesshoumaru made no comment. Inuyasha said that every time he came to retrieve Rin. But the inuyoukai couldn’t help but feel the tiniest bit of malicious amusement at the apparent havoc his charge caused his younger brother.
The priestess Inuyasha had taken as his mate came outside just in time to hear his half-brother’s comment. And the half-breed received a smack to the back of his head for it. “Inuyasha, that’s terrible.”
Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow. It never failed to sicken and amuse him to see his brother get abused by his human companions. It seemed his father’s weakness was alive and well in Inuyasha.
The last of the half-breed’s humans joined them as well. The monk and his woman, the former demon slayer, walked toward them, seemingly amused by the goings on of their companions. The woman carried a child on her hip, the young girl’s dark brown hair swept back in a ponytail and her vivid sapphire eyes regarding everything around her with childish wonder.
“Kagome’s right Inuyasha,” the monk said in a chiding tone. “We love having Rin here.”
The demon slayer shifted the girl on her hip. “Yes, it’s always nice for Moe to have someone to play with.”
Inuyasha didn’t seem to be listening to them anymore. His nose twitched and amber eyes narrowed as they shifted from Sesshoumaru to Kouga, and back. “What the hell are you doing here, ya mangy wolf? And did you come with…Sesshoumaru?”
Kouga plastered on his cockiest smirk. “Yeah, so what if I did, mutt?”
Amber eyes narrowed even more and Inuyasha leaned forward, sniffing Sesshoumaru experimentally. A low growl left him, his eyes focusing on Kouga in an angry glare. The daiyoukai frowned slightly, wondering what would cause such a reaction from the half-breed. There was no way that Inuyasha could know what had gone on between them, Sesshoumaru had made sure he’d washed all trace of the wolf’s stench off him. Then he curse inwardly, realizing his mistake. With Kouga molesting him by that tree, he must be covered in the scent of the wolf’s arousal.
Sesshoumaru was aware that the wolf and his younger brother were not exactly close, having witnessed their spats on more than one occasion, but he was not, however, prepared for how violently Inuyasha reacted.
The half-breed hauled Kouga forward by the front of his armor until their noses almost touched and growled deep in his chest. “What the fuck did you do to my brother, you son of a bitch?”
Sesshoumaru’s eyes got a touch wider at that, indignation swelling within him. He and Inuyasha might be on speaking terms, but that did not give the half-breed the right to act as his protector. He was about to put the mongrel back in his place when Kouga growled back and shoved the half-inu away from him.
“I didn’t do anything to him, worthless mutt,” Kouga snarled. “He’s my mate.”
Inuyasha laughed derisively. “Yeah, right. You expect me to believe that? Sesshoumaru wouldn’t mate with a flea bag like you if you were the last youkai on earth.”
Kouga glared hotly at the laughing half-breed. “Believe what you want, dog shit, but its true.”
Sesshoumaru was quickly becoming annoyed by this. He was tired of egotistical alpha males fighting over him like he was a helpless female. “That is enough,” he cut in icily. “You, wolf, silence or I will rip your vile tongue from your mouth.” Kouga shut up, but continued to glare at Inuyasha. “And you, Inuyasha, my affairs are none of your concern. Do not force me to put you in your place yet again, little brother.”
Inuyasha sputtered at Sesshoumaru’s not-so-subtle reminder as to who was at the top of the food-chain in this situation. He really hated it when his older brother did that. The irrational anger and possessiveness he felt for his sibling were a little confusing. It was similar to the feelings he had toward his mate, Kagome, but different. He didn’t like it.
A smug, superior grin from Kouga snapped him out if his thoughts and he launched himself into another fight with the wolf, just for the hell of it.
“What are you smiling about, ya flea bag wolf?”
“Big brother knocked you down a few notches didn’t he, dog breath?”
Their argument tapered off into a harangue of insults and slurs, becoming louder by the second. Sesshoumaru’s eye twitched almost unnoticeably and he sighed, resisting the urge to rub at the growing pressure between his temples. Instead, he grabbed both of them by the scruff of their necks, like one would a disobedient pup, and tossed them in opposite directions of each other.
Kouga landed on his back several feet from his original position, but Inuyasha had not been so lucky. The several feet he had flown sent him directly into a tree, which was not Sesshoumaru’s original intention, but the outcome was satisfactory nonetheless.
Kagome ran to the half-breed’s side, but calmed when she realized he’d landed on his head as was therefore unharmed. Miroku bit his lip to keep from laughing and Sango placed a hand to her mouth to stifle her mirth. Seeing Sesshoumaru toss Kouga and Inuyasha aside like rag dolls was an odd, if not incredibly amusing, sight.
The youkai lord turned an icy glare on the wolf and the half-breed. “Your childish, imbecilic bickering is trying my very limited patience.”
Inuyasha growled, rubbing the spot on his head where it had connected with the tree. “Damn it, Sesshoumaru. Why the fuck are you so moody all of a sudden?”
Sesshoumaru gave his brother a narrow-eyed look but didn’t comment. He turned his back on all of them, intent on getting away from these insufferable fools. The daiyoukai heard a low snarl from Kouga but chose to ignore it. Perhaps the idiots would just kill each other off and save him the trouble.
“Show some respect, mutt.” Instinct and habit drove Kouga to defend his mate. “He’s moody because he’s preg…”
The wolf stopped there, barely managing to restrain from clapping a hand over his mouth. His panicked gaze slid over to the inuyoukai. Sesshoumaru halted mid-stride, his entire being radiating fury. Kouga knew he was in deep shit. Sesshoumaru was going to slaughter him. Then bring him back to life with that freaky sword of his and torture, maim, and kill him again.
Inuyasha cocked his head to the side. “He’s what?”
Kouga let out a forced laugh, panicked azure eyes darting between the silver-haired youkai’s rigid back and the half-breed in front of him. “He’s pre…occupied. You know, with important stuff that you wouldn’t understand, you stupid, dog-brained mutt.”
The half-breed bristled at Kouga’s insult and their bickering started up again. Still facing away from the others, Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes. Fools, he truly was surrounded by fools.
He looked over his shoulder at the group. Kouga and Inuyasha were at each others throats while the strange human priestess watched them with an exasperated expression. The monk was tickling his daughter, who squirmed and shrieked in her mother’s arms, causing the demon slayer to give him an annoyed look. His Rin was humming softly to herself as she braided some white flowers together.
“Rin,” he called, drawing the girl’s large brown eyes to him.
Flowers forgotten, a bright smile lit up her face and she ran to his side, squeezing his fingers briefly before turning back to Inuyasha’s group.
“Come on Jaken! We’re leaving!” She waved enthusiastically at the humans. “Goodbye, everyone.”
The monk, demon slayer, and priestess gave her warm smiles and returned her wave, saying their own goodbyes. Jaken joined his lord, leading Ah-Un, and grumbling something about humans that Sesshoumaru didn’t bother to catch. Kouga abandoned his argument with Inuyasha with one final jibe and ran after them, falling into step beside Sesshoumaru.
Rin peeked around Sesshoumaru as they walked, her wide brown eyes studying him curiously. “Are you coming with us, Kouga?” Anytime she’d seen the wolf, he either stayed with Inuyasha or went off on his own. He’d never come with them before. It was new, and Rin liked new things.
Kouga gave her a big grin that was so infectious she had to grin back. “You bet, little one.”
The girl giggled and glanced up at her lord, her father’s, smooth expressionless face. She liked Kouga, and maybe Sesshoumaru did too, because he didn’t seem upset by the wolf coming with them. She hoped so, because when her father was happy, she was happy too.

And so, I have completed another chapter. Thoughts?
I just couldn’t resist adding Rin’s cuteness at the end. I adore that child. She’ll make quite a few appearances as the story progresses.
Next Chapter: Inuyasha ponders his new reactions to his brother. Myoga shows up to shed some light on the situation. Sesshoumaru still wants to kill something and Kouga realizes just what he got himself into.
Review Responses:
Anon: Thank you, and one update coming up.
SasuNaru4eva: Thanks, here’s the update.
KaoruStalker30: Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the chapters and the lemon. Heat induced Sesshoumaru is a lovely image isn’t it? Actually I was a little worried about the sex. It just wasn’t cooperating the way I wanted it to, *growls* but I’m glad it worked for you. Uke!Sesshoumaru is a new addiction of mine and then I got hooked on Kouga and this just sprouted from that. Plus there just aren’t enough fics of this pairing out there, and I always (no matter what fandom) get hooked on the rare pairings. It’s a curse. But I remedy it by writing my own smut for them if no one else will. And yes Sessh fell victim to his heat, and trust me he ain’t going down without a fight next time. As for chaos, it depends on whose definition you’re using. Rest assured Kouga and Inuyasha will cause a fair amount of uproar. Sessh… Not so much, because, hell, nothing fazes that guy. Outwardly, maybe. I was watching the episode where Naraku tried to absorb Sessh’s power, and there’s no reaction, other than mild annoyance, not even a frickin’ twitch. Nothing. So, for the most part, Sessh’s chaos will be internal. But if you have any requests for reactions, I’m always open.
Sianeka: Thank you. And I strive to be as original in my writing as possible, considering this is fanfiction. I hope it stays that way. As for the lemon thing….Yeah, that didn’t work out so well. But I will at least include some yaoi goodness in every chapter.
Anon: Thank you muchly!
Olio: Thanks. I really work to keep the characters IC. I’m so happy I succeeded.
Pic’s Pixie: Thank you. I love this pairing as well. And I’ll take your request into consideration. At this point though, Sessh wants absolutely nothing to do with Kouga, let alone wanting to screw him (because he’s so far in denial, its scary). But just for you, by the end of this Sessh will get to be seme at least once. I hope. Provided he decides to cooperate.
DarkLadyNyara: Thank you for reading. I’m glad you liked it.
VenusOfHeaven: Thank you for the support. And thank you for reading. I’ll hold you to that promise.
EbOnY-LyCaN14: Thank you. This review made me grin. And thank you especially for your kindness. I’m feeling much better now. Just an obnoxious cough that won’t go away. Kouga and Sessh have to be my two favorite characters. They’re just so pretty. And together…*drools* (although I do have a strange fondness for Naraku. He’s so evil, I love it.) But yes, as I was saying, thanks for reading.
Atocha: Thank you for reading. I love this pair also. I did know about the “L” thing, my Japanese is atrocious, but I did take a year of it in high school. I assume you’re referring to my character Molochai, right? (if not, feel free to skip this) I usually don’t like to use OC’s but for this fic I kinda had to. Originally Molochai was supposed to die at the end of the second chapter, but where would the story be without him creating a little havoc? So for the sake of the plot (as well as some badgering from a friend who’s absolutely in love with him), I kept him. He has no real back story, and the name ‘Molochai’ isn’t a Japanese name. I really don’t know where it comes from, because I borrowed it from one of my favorite books and thought it suited him. So we’ll just say that either he or his parents were not originally from Japan. So if any character, for example Sessh, were to say his name, it would come out ‘Mo-ro-kai’ instead of ‘Mo-lo-kai.’ Does that help? Again, thank you for reading and I apologize if this isn’t what you meant. I just felt the need to explain myself.
Shanna: Thank you. Usually in my writing I rely a lot more on dialogue, and these chapters had barely any. I appreciated the praise. I know what you mean about plot. Although, I am, myself, very fond of the existing relationship PWP, for some pairings it just doesn’t work. For example, this one. I’m glad the fight scene worked out. I was worried it was too rushed, but hell, I was in a hurry to get to the smut. Thanks for your kind words.
Glaze: Thank you. I hope I can keep your interest.
Big noise: Here’s the update, m’dear. My fans? *blushes* This review really made my day.
Psycho Demon Witch: Hey welcome back! And thank you. You guessed it. Molochai’s sticking around a while longer. He’s not the type to give up without a fight. Plus he’s obsessed and the plot needs him.
Fan1: Thank you. Kouga/Sessh fans make my world a better place. And to answer your question: Yes and no. That was my one and only very brutal, borderline Non-con lemon. They will, for the most part, be a little on the rough side, simply because both characters are demons and they can take it. Towards the end I hope to lean more towards the WAFF side though, considering Sessh is ‘in a family way’ so to speak and Kouga will have to be gentler with him.
PurplePinstripeDevil: Thanks, m’dear. I’m glad you enjoyed the pairing. I love converting people *evil grin*. Thanks for reading.
