Arrival
Chapter 3: Arrival

A/N: I want to thank everybody for the great reviews; I really enjoyed them all so much. Well here goes chapter three! Now something that you have to understand about my story is that even though Naraku is dead, he didn’t exactly die. He turned back into a human. It’s very hard to explain but there will be an explanation about that in a later chapter.
Inuyasha arrived at Sango’s house much earlier than he expected to get there. He tapped lightly on the doorframe of the hut “Come in” he heard Sango say softly. Inuyasha figured that the baby must have been sleeping because she was talking very low. Inuyasha stepped into the hut and smiled at the little toddler that was laying sound asleep on a pallet. “It’s been so long since I’d seen her last” Inuyasha said blissfully. Sango smiled “Something must have happened. You only come to see us when something happened. What’s up” she asked in the same soft voice. “So…how’s Naraku?” he asked lazily as he sat down next to Yume. (A/N: Bet you weren’t expecting Sango to be with Naraku after all the hell he put her through). Sango pointed behind her and Inuyasha finally noticed that Naraku was sleeping behind her “He hasn’t been feeling well” she explained and Inuyasha nodded in understanding.
“Sango there’s something I have to tell you, something important about my love life” he said calmly. Sango scooted closer to him “What is it?” she asked, her mind bubbling with curiosity. “My father has arranged for Sesshomaru and me to be mates” he said softly. Sango squealed “Inuyasha I’m so happy for you!” and she woke up Naraku and Yume. “Hello Inuyasha” Naraku said cheerfully “Go back to sleep dear, you need to rest” Sango said sternly. Naraku laughed and rolled over to go back to sleep. Yume yawned and stretched, she crawled over to Inuyasha “Yasha” she said with a two tooth grin. Inuyasha smiled at the little girl but turned his attention back on Sango. “How should I tell Kagome?” he said quietly. Sango sighed how to deal with Kagome was a very good question, one that she didn’t have the answer to. “I’m not sure Inuyasha; it was hard for me to tell her that I was in love with Naraku. You’ll just have to tell her the best way that you can. Just try it, it may not be the best approach but it’s a lot better then just saying ‘Hey Kagome, I about to me mated for the rest of my life’” she said trying to imitate Inuyasha. He nodded in understanding “Thanks Sango but I really need to get going. Come and visit us sometimes” he said as he got up. “Buh-Bye Yasha” said Yume in a small baby voice “Bye Yume” he said in the same type of voice. Sango laughed “Good-bye Inuyasha” she said kissing him on the cheek.
It was a long way home, much longer than it had seemed the first go around. Something didn’t feel right he felt a strange amount of power and he was heading straight towards it. He kept his hand gripped tightly to the hilt of his sword. “Welcome to Madame Alexandria’s three question fortune shop” said a soft yet eerie voice. “Who’s that?” Inuyasha asked his grip was still tight on his sword hilt. “I am Madame Alexandria and I have sensed that a tragic event has just happened. A secret revealed a secret untold, a secret about a father and son but unburied by the father but reburied by the mother” she said wisely. Inuyasha didn’t like where this conversation was headed but he had to admit he was interested. ‘Three questions? Maybe I could finally figure out who put that sleep spell on Sesshomaru and why’ he thought carefully.
“Ahh… you seek the truth about the sleep spell on your brother. Is that what you wish to know? Or would you like to make your question more complex, if you make it simple you may not know the whole truth” She said softly. Inuyasha said “This is all one question. I want to know who placed the spell on my brother but if someone was told to do it I want to know who told them to do it and why they wanted a sleeping spell and if the person who cast the spell gave them anything else” he said in a rushed breath. Madame Alexandria nodded and directed him to sit down because what she had to say would shock him. Inuyasha sat on the ground and waited “Long ago when Sesshomaru was a teenage your father, the lord of the west had a witch named Yuki place a sleep spell on Sesshomaru. He wanted this spell cast on Sesshomaru so that he could have his way with him, Yuki also gave your father another potion when she cast this spell, but she did not do it out of kindness she gave your father the virginity potion out of guilt.” She paused and looked sorrowfully at Inuyasha’s heartbroken face.
“When Sesshomaru would fall asleep someone would always place him in his room. This is where your father found him every night and every night your father raped his semi-conscious body” she said sadly but that made Inuyasha realize something. “Semi-conscious?” he asked helplessly and the young gypsy nodded. “Your brother was still madly in love with you even back then. When your father was raping him, Sesshomaru thought that you were making love to him. That is the true reason why you two are about to become mates because your father knew that he couldn’t claim a love that he never had” she ended softly. Inuyasha felt rage fill his body, he thought deeply about what she had said in the very beginning.
“How did my mother find out about this and what happened to the source of her information?” he asked. Alexandria sighed “Your father got drunk and wrote a letter to your mother, he knew that only while he was drunk that he would realize that he needed to tell her and then leave to get help. She read the letter and she was so overrun with grief that she locked it away in the top left-hand corner drawer of your father’s desk study” she said as she sat down next to him.
“And now for your last question I will answer it with out you having to speak the horrible words. No, Sesshomaru is not pregnant and he did use the viginity potion. Your father wanted to Sesshomaru to know you as his first, his last , and his only” she said and as the last words flowed from her mouth everything disappeared. Her words were nothing but a soft echo on the wind, he was right in front of the palace. It was all fake but the answers to his questions were real.
