Tears stung your eyes, threatening to come out.
“Why are you crying?” Inuyasha asked, sounding like he really didn’t care.
“I’m not” You answered.
“I can already smell the salt water, its faint but I know its there………….your in love with Kouga, aren’t you” Inuyasha asked, seriousness in his voice.
“Well, I try not to be, its hard for me, after all this mess, after everything he did, I can’t help but have this feeling for him” You whispered while staring down at the village below you.
When Inuyasha finally landed on his feet, you notice the dead bodies piled up in the center of the village. You felt tears run down your flushed cheeks when you saw your best friend Yuri lying there in his own blood.
“KOUGA, WHERE ARE YOU?!!” You yelled out, hoping to get an answer, but none came.
You looked around and saw cat demons, and wolf demons faced down or sprawled out on there death ground.
/please don’t tell me your one of the unlucky ones/ you thought.
“KOUGA, WHERE ARE YOU?! PLEASE ANSWER ME!” You yelled out while your eyes scanned the area.
“Keep yelling little girl, I’m sure that damn wolf is around here somewhere” You heard a woman chuckle out.
You looked up at one of the huts and saw a woman with a fan looking down at you, her red eyes shone bright in the moon, and her hair was pulled back in a bun, her bangs fell freely to her face, to short to cover her eyes.
“Kagura, where’s Naraku?” you heard Inuyasha growl.
“Hmmm beats the hell out of me, I just do what he says, I don’t have a leash on him” Kagura growled back.
“__YN__?” You heard a husky voice say from behind you.
You quickly turned around and saw Kouga dragging himself out of a pile of dead bodies.
“Why did you come back, it’s too dangerous here” Kouga said while standing on his two shaky, bloody legs.
“And…w-why are you with Inuyasha” Kouga said while giving you a glare.
“Kouga your hurt, here, let me help you” You said while reaching a hand out to him, but quickly took it back when he slapped it away.
“Answer me, why are you with Inuyasha?” Kouga growled out.
“Does it really bother you this much that I’m with him? I mean, you kicked me out of the pack, WHERE ELSE WAS I SUPOUS TO GO?” You yelled.
“You could have came back, I tried to stop you, but you didn’t listen” Kouga yelled back.
“WHY SHOULD I?” You yelled in his face, you were so close you could feel his hot breath.
“Because……..you’re too weak to take care of yourself” He answered.
Furry flashed in your eyes and before you knew it, you slapped Kouga hard across the face.
“I had it Kouga, I had it with you, and the pack, always saying I’m weak, I’m useless, what I can’t believe is, HOW CAN I BE IN LOVE WITH AN IDIOT LIKE YOU” You yelled, not even thinking about what you said.
Kouga feel speechless
It then hit you; you just said your deepest darkest secret.
“Awww isn’t that cute” You heard Kagura say, you even forgot she was up there.
“But I have to be going, meaning I need to be taking what I came for” Kagura said while jumping off the roof of the now burning hut.
To your surprise she was running straight for you.
/ I don’t know what Naraku wants with this useless half breed, but frankly, I don’t really care/ Kagura thought while she snatched you off your feet, She then jumped high into the air, while removing a feather from her hair, once she tossed it into the wind, it grew large. Kagura then jumped on it and placed you roughly down on it, shaking the feather a bit.
“I hope you enjoy the ride” Kagura said sarcastically while the feather went faster, you saw Inuyasha and Kouga shrink the farther the feather went.
“Hmmm you seem pretty cocky” You laughed out.
“What do you mean?” Kagura said getting kind of confused.
“Buh bye” You said while jumping off the feather.
“NOOO” Kagura yelled while making a movement to stop you but it was too late, you were falling to the earth, fast, and the feather wouldn’t be fast enough to catch you.
/How can she be so stupid, why did she jump? Was jumping a far more better fate then what Naraku was going to do to her/ Kagura thought while watch you fall to the earth.
With on flick of your wrist your body was set ablaze, you moved your body with quick speed, making it look like you were going to dive into water. The fire that was on your body starting to move to your finger tips.
“DRAGON FLAME” You yelled out while fire shot from your fingers, and hit the ground with enormous strength, which cause you to slow down your speed in falling.
After a couple more seconds, you stopped the fire, and landed safely on your feet.
“Ha, showed her” You laughed out while running out of sight.
“Where did she go, Naraku’s going to kill me” Kagura said while scanning the ground with her red piercing eyes. After awhile she gave up and started to head back to the castle she came from
/She might have gotten away this time, but next time she won’t be so lucky, I swear to that/ Kagura said while clenching her fists.
~With Kouga~
“I’m guessing…you feel stupid at the moment” Inuyasha said.
“Shut up mutt” Kouga growled at him.
“Screw you, you mangy wolf” Inuyasha growled.
“Kouga, your ok!!” Kagome said while running up to Inuyasha and Kouga, sango and Miroku right behind her.
“So your safe I see” Inuyasha said.
“Yeah, it was a pretty big battle, I did my best to keep out of it” Miroku said while placing an arm on his cut shoulder.
/Usually seeing Kagome makes me feel better, but….now…..where is __YN__? / Kouga thought
~With you~
You ankle still hurt like crazy.
/It’s only a little wound __YN__, so ignore it/ you thought to yourself.
“I have to find shelter, I have to hide. What the hell does Naraku want from me?” You whispered while you kept on running.
Your ankle finally gave out, and you heard a snap. Agonizing pain went up your whole leg while you howled into the night.
You feel to your stomach and hit your head on a rock causing your vision to get blurry.
/oh this is old memories/ you thought while closing your eyes.
Sesshoumaru-sama, There’s something up ahead” You heard a little girl yell before everything went black.
