compromise Revised
Chapter 3 compromise
A/N: Revised chapter as promised next one will be soon maybe a week at the longest just depends on the papers I get from college. Hope you enjoy. I think its better then it was. A little OCC for both of them but hey I can’t make a women a cry baby I want anger for misdeeds and Sesshomaru is still a prick but is warming up to our little miko in his own ways.

She could not believe her ears at what she had heard. The great lord of the west had just asked her, kagome to become his mate. Shock was the only thing she could show. No thoughts ran through her head. All she could do was look at him and breath. How could he just put her on the spot like this especially after all she had been trough with inuyasha… an evil thought crept in to her mind under the over riding shock…revenge would be sweet.
‘I think we broke her’ the best said. Sesshomaru walked up to the shaken girl and came to with an inch of her face. She didn’t even blink her eyes held a different story tough. In their deep silvery depths he saw a fire of hate some how he knew who it was aimed at and surprisingly it wasn’t him. He backed off and stood with crossed arms thinking of a way to get a response. “I’ll take your silence as a yes then” he said knowing it would raise her into a fight. Those words snapped her out of the state she was in. “now you listen to me buster, I will be the one who says yes or no and you will not decide for me,” Anger rising in her voice “and as for your answer what do you take me for an idiot. Sesshomaru…”
He knew it was coming the chance to fight with her on why she was to become his mate a chance to see the fire he so wanted to feel fir him self. He prepared himself mentally. Thinking of all the ways he could coax her into doing as he wished… “It would please me very much to become your mate” his thoughts did a complete 360 ‘did he hear her right’ he thought. It was now his turn to look stunned.
She watched as his cold exterior slipped for an instant. Shock ran across his features for a moment as he registered what she had said. ‘Take that inuyasha’ kagome thought.'
“but on three conditions, you call me Kagome and I get to still search for the jewel shards and I get to see my family any time that I see fit” she held her head high waiting for the following ‘not while I’m the lord in this house miss’ act. She waited to get him into a fight… “Deal” he said. ‘He knew that was not the answer she was hoping for. He could see her anger rise a little. Red was begging to creep into her eyes from the frustration; her energy was beginning to crackle around her. The feathers on her wings were puffed up. ‘God she is sexy when she is mad’ Sesshomaru inwardly thought. But as soon as it started it ended and she reverted back to her calm Kagome self.
“a deal it is then, when the ceremony takes place I want to make sure Inuyasha is present to see what he missed out on” Kagome said while giving Sesshomaru an evil smile. ‘She is doing this to get back at the half breed brother of ours how interesting’ the beast in his head said. ‘indeed we shall see how well this decision turns out for the both of us, some how I feel we have our hands full with this miko turned demon’ Sesshomaru uttered back.
(“Ok look aren’t we supposed to be fighting by now?” Kagome said. “I believe we are” he said crossing his arms. “And why am I ok with not being with inuyasha?” Kagome said. “I believe the author is loosing her touch” Sesshomaru said.
“I take offence to that now you two listen alright; kagome is a chaos demon right” “yes” “so not knowing how to control her powers she is going to cause what?” “Chaos” “right Sesshy you can have a cookie” “woot” “so she is only doing what comes naturally. And not to mention if some one cheated on me I wouldn’t waist too many tears on them I would be mad and get even. Kagome maybe sweet and all but she has an evil side I mean no one can get that mad and not harbor some butt kicking capability gee Osh do I have to explain every thing that I do”)
“Sesshomaru I think you need to train me in my powers I don’t know exactly all the things I can do and seeing how my outburst earlier was just a taste of what I feel I can do. I feel it is important I get a handle on this before it gets to out of hand” Kagome said ‘not to mention I could vent some of my frustration on you’ she thought in her head. . “I would have to agree” he hissed back. “Your training will start at once; meet me in the dojo when you are ready. I will be sending a servant to prepare you. And get you out of those things you call clothes” he said as he turned and walked out of her room.
‘Why the nerve of some demons’ she huffed as she stalked back to the bed and sat down on it awaiting his Almighty’s servant to prepare her. ‘Oh when I get my hands on him’ she thought as red crept back in her eyes.
