After a good while of explaining and a lot of ear rubbing, Kagome had filled the girls in on just about everything.
“To be honest, you never did look sickly to me.” Kashi said as she tried to make
another go at Inu yasha’s ears, only to have him bat her hands away.
“That is so wild…” Mahiru put her hands behind her head and laid back into her chair.
“However Inu yasha, Kagome isn’t going back with you.”
“What the hell do you mean she isn’t going back with me?” Inu yasha snapped.
“Well now that I know the whole story, it’s so obvious, Kagome deserves this
vacation more than any of us, right girls?”
“Right!” said Sachi and Kashi together.
“Exactly my point!” said Kagome.
“That settles it.”
“This settles nothing” growled Inu yasha.
“Kagome what is the word you said you can use to sub due him?” Mahiru smirked
“Oh…” Kagome caught on “You mean sit?”
Inu yasha fell into the floor. Inu yasha glared at Mahiru.
“That’s right dog boy, how are you supposed to drag Kagome back when you can’t
even stand?” Mahiru laughed wickedly. Kagome had never seen her friend’s devious
side before, but considering it was working in her favor she liked it.
“Feh I’m not going anywhere without Kagome…”
“Then you’re going to be here for a while, so I suggest you get comfortable.” Mahiru
winked.
Kagome smiled. ‘Having Inu yasha here will certainly make things more interesting.’
“Now that that’s settled, what’s for supper?” Sachi beamed. They looked at her.
“What?” she looked at them oblivious to all.
“Well….I guess we could go into town to eat…we could pick up some groceries too.”
Kashi smiled as she looked Inu yasha over. “Kagome you’re going to have to pick up
some cloths for dog man, if he’s going to be here for a whole week, I’m sure we can
find something to cover his…Assets…”
“Oh…I’ve got a pink bandana!” Sachi smiled
“And I’ve got daddy’s credit card.” Mahiru added and waved her wallet. “So it’s
settled, now the hard part, pizza or pizza?”
“I want sushi!” squealed Sachi.
“So Anchovies for Sachi, anything else? Alright let’s go!” Mahiru jumped from the
couch.

It only took them a few minutes to get dressed up and go to town, from there they
all split up. Sachi went to pick up some pizza, Kashi went to the grocery store with
a list from all the girls. Mahiru and Kagome took Inu yasha to a clothing store. He
looked weird with his red kimono and pale pink bandana.
“I love shopping!”
“Are you sure your dad won’t get mad about us using his credit card?”
“Of course not, he won’t even notice.” Kagome had almost forgotten that Mahiru’s
dad was a big shot business man in Tokyo. Kagome smiled at her friend.
Inu yasha just stood with his hands in his fire rat robe as the girls ran around the
store grabbing everything that looked like it would fit him. In the end neither of them
could see over the piles of cloths in their arms.
“You don’t expect me to try on all of those do you?” Inu yasha’s eye twitched.
“You bet we do. And you’re going to come out and show us every one.”
“Please Inu yasha?” Kagome put her hands together in a pleading manner.
Inu yasha glared. “I ain’t trying on anything frilly or stupid.”
The girls both beamed and shoed him the changing room.

Mahiru pulled out her cd player, which was practically an extension of her body, as
she put it, and played a zz top song. Kagome immediately recognized it to be “Sharp
Dressed Man.”
With the CD player between them on a table the girls leaned back in their chairs and
waited for Inu yasha to come out. When he did he was wearing an outfit picked out
by both girls. A black tank top with shredded sleeves and a dragon on it. His pants
where camouflage and really baggy, were as his shirt was kind of tight compared to
his white under shirt he was used to wearing.
“Kagome are you sure these things are supposed to fit this way?”
Kagome was shocked to see her Inu yasha standing in front of her in modern cloths.
He looked so…normal…and hot…
“That’s the way they are supposed to fit.”
“I guess they’re alright.”
“Dog boy is looking fine!”
“Meh…whatever.” Inu yasha turned around and went back into the changing booth.
In the end they picked him out 5 shirts, 4 pairs of pants, 6 different bandanas, and
2 pairs of swim trunks. When they started looking at Jewelry, talking about how he
would look good in chains he dragged the both of them out of there. They met up
with Sachi at the car, Kashi followed soon after with a crap load of groceries.
On the way home Kagome sat in the back with Inu yasha on her right and Sachi on
her left.
‘This feels so right…’
Mahiru was playing a song in a language that Inu yasha didn’t under stand, but it
was kind of catchy.
“Hey Mahiru…what kind of music is this?”
“The only kind there is, American!” Mahiru shouted and turned it up.
“Its blink 182 feeling it” Kashi answered.
“What’s it about?”
Kashi had to think about it for a second.
“Well, the guys talking about wanting this girl having sex and about fate…Some
American music don’t make much sense.” Kashi replied.
“Oh.”
Inu yasha kind of liked this music, whatever sex was, he did understand fate.
Kagome began to sing.
“Fate fell short this time, you’re smile fades in the summer, place you’re hand in mine
I’ll leave when I want to.”
“Go Kagome!” Mahiru whistled and joined in the singing.
Inu yasha was taken back at the beauty of Kagomes voice, the song sounded even
more beautiful coming from her.
'This feels so right...' he thought.
