A promise is to be kept always

"What!!" He threw his cup at the armless troll demon standing in front of him. "How dare that scum! I am Lord here!" He glared at the scout who had not only lost his charming red butterfly, but came back with a threat from the one who kidnapped her! "Everyone get out!" After everyone left he looked around the room and smiled as his plan unfolded in his mind. " Yasu! Get down here!" He called out. "Yes my master?" He asked as he melted from the shadows to kneel in front of Triton. "I want you to get my butterfly back! As you do this, make sure to leave clues for her 'friend' to follow!" He demanded fiercly. "As you wish my lord!" He said standing and bowing before melting into the shadows on the ground.

"Good morning Sesshomaru!" She said as she woke up. He looked over at her and thought he saw somthing shimmer behind her, as he stared at it, it disappeared. He decided it was nothing and wnet back to sharpening his sword. because of the trolls tough flesh the blade was a bit dull. "I need to go for a swim.....and get some breakfast..." She added as her stomach growled. She streched and looked at Sesshomaru sharpening his sword and sighed, he hadn't heard her no doubt. "Ummm, Sesshomaru?" She asked walking up behind him and tapping him on the shoulder.he was thinking hard and didn't notice anything around him not even his sword. He still hadn't taken notice, so she decided to do somthing rash. She walked in front of him took away the sword and sharpeing stone and sat right in his lap. "Did you hear what I said?" She asked sweetly as his eyes grew wide. She giggled and it sounded so lovely to Sesshomaru's ears. "I'm going to get breakfast and take a bath, okay?" He heard what she said but was having a little problem....She was so beautiful and perfectly fit his lap. He couldn't help but smell her hair, it smelled like lilies and salty springs. "I have to come with you though....Last night some demons tried to well.....eat you, I had to dispose of them...." he said not meaning to scare her.
"Alright then Sesshomaru, can we go know?" She asked trying to give him a puppy-dog face. "Hand me my sword and we can go..." Said Sesshomaru wondering how she did things like that too him. She was still in his lap when she handed him his sword, he put it through his belt and picked her up with him as he stood up. "Hey! Put me down Sesshomaru!!" She said surprised as he picked her up. "Hold on tight, we're going to go very fast!" He said as she put her arms around his neck.
They landed at a hot springs that had blackberries and strawberries growing nearby.
"This is wonderful! I'll go bathe and you can sharpen your sword!" She ran off toward the spring as Sesshomaru sat down to sharpen his sword. He heard her scream only slightly so he quickly ran over to the bushes in front of the spring. Then he heard.......laughter? He parted the bushes and looked in toward the spring, there she was standing in her birthday suit her long hair trailing down. She was beautiful in the light that shone down through the trees. She let something crawl onto her hand and picked it up slowly. It was a fox squirrel! They where very rare and usually vicious. It chittered at her then jumped up and ran away. She giggled and settled back down to her bath. Sesshomaru sat there thinking what he was going to do, if she was around during mating season then he would surely take her willingly, or not! He sat there pondering on this as a shadow, that seemed to move by itself, slowly slid through the tree above Amaya.
"Hello, looks like I caught a Butterfly in my net!" He said before he grabbed her.
" Yasu! What in Kami?" She was startled and about to call for Sesshomaru, but he put his hand over her mouth.
"His majesty want's his prized possession back!" He stated as he lifted her out of the water. She was now in a death like sleep, she would only wake up if a certain incense was used.
"Amaya? Amaya?!" Sesshomaru heard an intruder, so he ran through the bushes in time to see the man slowly melt into the shadows. Behind him he left a note. It said "If you want to see her alive! Come down to the village graveyard!" Damn he knew it was a trap.....but he had to save Amaya!
