Moving On

Kagome knew she was going to die. It wasn't her fault that he was stuck here. She was going to have to find a way to send him back.

" Listen, maybe we can find some other way to send you back."

" Well then find it!" he screamed.

" Listen bub, don't you dare yell at me. In this time there are no youkai so if you want to live you had better be nice to me."

" This Sesshomaru will yell at who he wants."

" Well then This Sesshomaru, you need to read about women's liberation."

He looked up to see her climbing out of the well. No wonder Inuyasha always complained about her. She was a total pain in the ass. While she was climbing he could see a glimpse of her white cotton panties and groaned. He jumped up to the top. She turned to look at him and saw him smiling. She decided that she didn't want to know what he was thinking.

" Look things are a lot different here in this time. There will be new smells and sounds that you will just have to put up with ok."

She slid the door open to the well house and he took in the sights. He could see tall buildings in the distance. An airplane went by overhead and he pulled out the Tensaiga ready to attack. Kagome had to fight back a laugh.

" What was that?" he asked.

" That was an airplane. We use them to fly here. Let's just go into the house and figure out what we are going to do."

She grabbed him by the hand and lead him to the main house. She slid open the door and saw her mom sitting at the table drinking tea.

" Kagome, you're home." she looked over at the strange man. " You didn't say you were bringing home a man."

" It was an accident Mom."

She told Sesshomaru to take a seat at the table and she explained everything to her mom.

" You saved my daughter. You are welcome to stay here as long as you need to."

Kagome got up from the table, " I need a shower." and walked upstairs.

The hot water felt good. It relaxed her sore muscles. She turned the water off and opened the sliding glass door. She looked right into the face of Sesshomaru. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself.

" What are you doing in here?"

" What is this device? How does it pour water on you?"

" How do you know it pours water? How long were you standing there?"

" Long enough to see why my brother likes you so much." he said and smiled.

" Get out!"

Sesshomaru went down stairs and sat on the couch. As soon as his butt made contact with the cushion the TV came on. He jumped up and looked at the wierd object. Kagome came downstairs and saw him touching the TV with his fingers. The movie 'Scarface' was on. "Say hello to my little friend!" and Al Pacino shoot his gun. Kagome walked over to the couch and turned the TV off.

" You don't need to watch that. It might give you ideas."

Sesshomaru was still touching the black screen and Kagome felt sorry for him. This was going to be hard on him.

" Sesshomaru come and sit next to me." she said and patted on the couch.

He stood up and moved to sit next to her. She studied his features. He was very handsome. She had never noticed it before. Maybe because he was to busy trying to kill her.

" Why don't you go upstairs and take a shower why I make dinner."

" You want me to get in that device that makes water pour on me?"

" Yes. You see in this time people bath everyday. And not to be rude but you stink."

He followed her upstairs and she started the shower for him.

" Here is a towel. When you are done go to my room." she said and then headed downstairs to start dinner. She was in the middle of setting the table when she heard him scream. She ran upstairs and opened the door to see him with shampoo in his eyes. She ran over to him and told him to put his head under the water. After a minute he opened his eyes to look at her.

" What happened?"

" I was looking at that bottle and something fell in my eyes. It hurt like hell."

" That is shampoo. You use it to wash your hair."

Kagome then realized that he was naked and turned her head. She heard him turn the water off and she handed him the towel.

" You may turn around now."

She did and saw him wrapped in the towel. His chest and stomach left open. She watched as water droplets ran down his chest. She lowered her face as she felt the blush coming. He placed a finger under her chin and forced her to look into his eyes. He licked his lower lip and Kagome wondered what it tasted like. ' Don't think like that girl. This is Sesshomaru. Inuyasha's brother who tired to kill you before.'

" Um... I found some of my Dad's old clothes. Go to my room and get dressed and come down to dinner." She turned and went back downstairs.

Kagome was sitting at the table when he came in. He had put on a pair of grey jogging pants and a white t-shirt. He almost looked human. Dinner that night was really quiet due to the new houseguest. After dinner Kagome made up the couch for him. As she was getting it ready he asked an odd question.

" Am I to sleep alone?"

" Yes. Why?"

He smiled at her. " It has been a long time since I have slept alone. I always have a woman in my bed."

" Not in this house."

He pulled her to him placing his lips to hers. He licked his tongue across her lower lip and she let out a moan. She opened her mouth allowing him to enter. Their tongues danced with passion. She felt a burning sensation in her abdomen and pulled away.

" Good night Sesshomaru."

He watched her climb the stairs and go to her room. He didn't know why he had kissed her. He knew he had to find a way to go back to his own time. To get away from her before it was too late. She flopped down on her bed and sighed. ' Why did he kiss me?' She went to sleep dreaming of a youkai that now lived under the same roof. Little did she know he sat at the edge of her bed watching her sleep.

" No wonder why Inuyasha was crazy about you?" he whispered.

He wiped a strand of black hair away from her face and watched her sleep all that night.
