Chapter Three
~*~*~Chapter Three~*~*~
“Big broder!” Sky, who was now going on three, shouted.
Inuyasha sighed and went into his sister's room. “What do ya want?”
“David come over?”
“No Sky, not today. Geeze! You ask about him every single fuckin' day!”
“Inuyasha! What have I told you?!” his father shouted. “Watch your mouth around her!”
“What does fuck mean?” Sky asked.
Inuyasha just looked at her. “Oh shit, I'm dead.”
David, who finally decided to turn into his real age and was now seven years old, burst into the room. “Hi Inuyasha!” he shouted.
“Who's dat?” Sky asked.
“That's just plain old David.”
“Hey! Now that's not funny!” David exclaimed.
“Yes it is,” Inuyasha said. “Too bad my dad put that spell on you so you couldn't go back to your other age that you've been dying to go back into again.”
David stuck his tongue out at him. “But that's not fair man!” He sat down and pouted. “Humph.”
“Me want David! Me want David!” Sky exclaimed, trying to climb out of her crib.
Inuyasha laughed as David exclaimed, “Don't you DARE let her out of that--” Inuyasha let her out. “Crib.” Inuyasha sat Sky down in front of David and she crawled up to him while he slowly backed away from her.
“Meanie! Get back here!”
“Uh-uh! I choose life!”
Sky stopped crawling, sat down and looked up at him with a face that David knew was the 'you better do as I say or I'm gonna cry' look.
He sighed in defeat and sat down and watched as she crawled over to him and sat down on his lap. “Are you comfortable?”
“Yep.”
“Well I'm not.”
“So?”
“So?! What do you mean so?!” David whined. “Man! Get her off! Get her off!”
“Nope, you're the stupid ass who came to my house and played with her when she was a baby when I warned you not to because she'd attach herself to ya, but did you believe me? Noooo! You had to see for yourself, and now look, you've got a three year old already--”
“Ye-ow!” Sky bit David.
“Attach--”
“Mine!” Sky exclaimed.
“Ahem. Attaching herself to you,” Inuyasha finished.
“Man, if I could turn back time I'd GLADLY do it!” He whined again. “Man, I wish I would've never even said the word 'hi' to her.”
Sky looked at him, tears noticeably welled up in her eyes.
“W-Wait. You're not gonna cry are you?!”
She made the face that toddlers always make before they cry and then tears poured down her cheeks and she started to cry.
“Shh! Shh! Stop crying please stop crying! Please stop! I'm begging you! Stop crying! Please!”
She only started to cry louder.
He covered his ears and started to run in circles because her loud crying hurt his ears. “Stop! Please! Please st--” BAM! He accidentally ran into a wall.
Sky immediately stopped crying and started laughing.
“Ow! Damn that hurt!” Now instead of holding his hands over his ears, he was holding his nose. He noticed that Sky was laughing. “Oh, so you think this is funny huh?”
Inuyasha was laughing too. “I guess she thinks it's funny to see you get hurt.”
David tossed him a look and said in a voice that was almost like a whiny baby voice, “But that's not funny. That hurt.” He looked over at Sky and said, “I'm gonna cry.”
She only laughed harder.
“Damn! You've got one evil sister Inuyasha!”
Inuyasha smirked and shrugged. “I know I do.” He then gave him a sly smile and said, “My dad is already thinking of making you her future husband.”
“WHAT?! But she's four years younger than me!”
“So? That's not bad.” Inuyasha suddenly busted out laughing. “I can't believe you actually believed me!”
“Why I oughta . . .”
“Sure, my dad's the king here and all, but he's not cruel enough to make people get married.”
“I'm gonna KILL YOU!”
“Oh shit!”
“Bad David!” Sky suddenly exclaimed, and she grabbed his leg and bit down hard.
“Ye-OW!” He exclaimed as he tripped and landed on his stomach. “Owww . . . .”
Sky crawled over to him, sat down next to him and patted him on the head as though he were a dog. “Good David.”
“What am I? A dog?”
Sky pulled out a rosary that her mother gave her a while ago to put on someone. She put it around his neck. “There, now you look perty.”
“Uh . . . Inuyasha? What is it?”
Inuyasha was biting his lip to keep himself from laughing.
David got up and walked towards him. “What is so god damn--”
“Down kitty!” Sky shouted and David fell to the floor.
Kagome, who happened to be floating above their heads, was watching and she busted out laughing. “Now that's funny.” She appeared in front of Inuyasha. “So you think it's funny to see your friend get hurt huh?”
Inuyasha backed away. “Yeah. Kind of.”
“Okay then. Maybe your little friend will think this is funny.” She put a rosary around his neck.
“What the--”
“SIT BOY!”
Inuyasha fell to the ground.
David laughed, but Sky was too interested in where Kagome came from.
Sky crawled up to her. “Hi. My name Sky.”
Kagome looked down at her and smiled. “Awww! You're adorable!”
“Don't you hurt her!” Inuyasha snapped as he got up off the ground.
“I'm not. Who could ever hurt an adorable little girl like her?” She picked her up.
“You pretty,” Sky said. “What's your name?”
“Kagome.”
“Why you so cold?”
“I'm a ghost.”
“Really?”
“M-hm.”
“Cool! Can you fly me places?”
“Sure. Where do you wanna go?”
“Around the castle!”
“Okay, here we go then!” The two disappeared from sight.
“Hey! Get BACK here! Where are you taking my sister?!” Inuyasha shouted.
His father appeared in the room and automatically asked, “Where's Sky?”
“That stupid ghost fuckin' took her!”
“Ghost?”
“Okay, sure, that sounds pretty fucking dumb, but I'm not kidding!”
His father just looked at him and said, “You're really not lying.”
“No shit, Sherlock! Now let's go find my sister before I decide to KILL that stupid bitch!”
“Language Inuyasha,” his father said.
Inuyasha sighed and said, “I'm 21 years old in human years dad, I can say whatever the hell I want.”
“Not in my house.” (Inuyasha let his parents come live with him since they basically bought the house.)
Inuyasha crossed his arms across his chest and pouted. “But it's kind of hard to stop once you've started!”
His father shrugged. “Oh well. Deal with it.” He looked down at David. “Hello David.”
“Hello whiny butt's dad.”
Inuyasha glared at him. “You little runt!”
“SIT BOY!!” came Kagome's voice, and his dad busted out laughing as Kagome appeared. She smirked. “You know, that's pretty pathetic when you're own father thinks that getting sat is funny as hell.” She helped Sky crawl off her back.
“That was fun!”Sky exclaimed. A yawn escaped her mouth. “I sleepy now.” She turned to look at her dad. “Daddy. Me sleepy!”
Her father chuckled and picked her up. “Alright, come on you. Let's put you to bed.”
“Thank you lord! The runt's being put to bed! Hallelujah!” David exclaimed.
Her father was about ready to tuck her in when she said, “Uh-uh, I want David to do that.”
David whined. “But I don't wanna!”
“Get your ass over here seven year old,” Inuyasha's and Sky's father said. “She wants you to tuck her in, so you're tucking her in.”
David sighed and whined. “Dammit!”
“Stop your whining Mr. Seven Year old and get your ass over here.”
David stalked over there and said, “But Inuhasha! Why do I gotta do it?!”
“Because she wants you to, and if you don't she's gonna scream and cry until you do. Do you want to deal with that?”
“Not really.”
“Then do it!'
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm doin' it, damn.” He grabbed a foot stool, put it in front of the crib, got on it so he could reach into the crib and covered her up. He stepped down off it and said, “There. I did it.”
“I wanna kiss!” Sky whined.
“Oh hell no! I ain't kissin' that thing!”
“She's a 'thing' now huh?” Inuhasha asked.
David gave a smirk and a very guilty laugh and then sighed. “Alright I'll do it.” He got back on the stool and leaned over the crib and gave her a kiss on the cheek. As soon as he got off the stool he started spitting and wiping off his mouth. “Yuck! Patooey! PBBBBBLAK!”
“Me want anoder one now!” Sky exclaimed.
“Hell no! I'm gettin' out of here!”He took of running out of the castle leaving Inuyasha, Inuhasha, and Kagome laughing.
Sky started to cry. “David no like me!”
Inuhasha picked her up out of the crib and said, “It's okay, don't worry about what he says. He's just being mean.” He kissed her on the cheek. “Now, get to sleep and your ghost friend will take you for a ride again tomorrow morning if she's up to it.”
“Otay,” she said and she allowed him to put her back down in her crib. “Night night daddy.” Moments after he put her down, she fell asleep. As she slept, she dreamed that one day when she was old enough, she would be David's wife and have his children. She dreamed that one day he would love her and she would love him. She had no clue what the dream meant, but neither did she know that one of these days, her dream would come true. But all she knew right now is that she needed to hurry up and grow so she could be with him, and maybe one day, die along with him in his death bed.
A/N: Well, I hope you liked this chapter. It may look like there are misspelled words, but those are only the words Sky's saying. And you know how babies can't pronounce words right. Well, anyways, I hope you enjoyed it.
