Instinct

Thank you for your reviews. I didnt mean to leave you hanging, so I stayed up all night working on this story and now its 7:30 in the morning. I am beat and going to bed. I will probably have another chapter later today or this evening. So I apologize now if there are any grammical errors. I will be happy to fix another day.


Chapter Three

Decisions


Kagome was now even more confused. “ I am now a demon, and I have their traits, not to mention they want me to become their mates and I have to sleep with these two?” She growled.

She thought about an answer and retorted back. “ I don’t know you, and what makes you think that I’m willing to sleep with the both of you to become your mates.”

She started pacing back and forth, ignoring the stings on her shoulders, and contemplating on whether to run, fight, or become their mates. The two demons were getting impatient with her. They did not want to force her, or did they.

Sensing their impatience, Kagome decided to ask the one thing that has bothered her most about this game of cat and mouse. “Why me?” She said with firmness in her voice.

“I knew I shouldn’t have gone for that walk last night.” She thought with a deep sigh followed by a soft whimper.

“It was your scent Kagome, that led us to you, and sent us into a heated rage.” Inuyasha confessed, blushing.

Sesshoumaru agreed. “ Indeed it was very intoxicating.”

“And if I refuse, then what?” She retorted. Nevertheless, she was fighting within herself and decided not to listen to her instincts, that where demanding her to go.

Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru gave each other a glare, not expecting all these questions. Not wanting too let it to far out of hand. They just wanted their bitch to submit, and go home to mate with the demon goddess before their eyes.

“If you refuse we will have to fight you.” Sesshoumaru said in a stoic voice.

Kagome heard the threat in his voice. “ If I fight and I win, let me go. But if I lose then I will go to your home and become your mates.”

The two brothers said at the same time. “Agreed.”

“Oh shit!” She thought, trying to mask her fear.

Both of the Lords decided to approach her slowly, like a lion trying to take down its prey. Kagome’s eyes never left the both of them and followed them like a hawk, anticipating on their next move. She started growling extending her claws, instincts finally kicking in and suddenly she knew how to fight. Sesshoumaru was the first to start the attack. She patiently waited for him to strike, and quickly jumped out of the way, hitting him in the back. Inuyasha thinking since her back was facing him, he would try to pounce on her. She heard the other demon coming from behind and when he was in reach she jumped in the air and did a back flip over him, when she was coming down she kicked Inuyasha and he landed on his stomach with a thud.

“Wow I did that.” She said with amusement.

She waited for them to try to attack her again, but this time she had a grin on her face.

“ I think our little bitch is enjoying this big brother.” Inuyasha said with a chuckle.

“I heard that asshole!” she growled.

“She certainly has your stubbornness Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru said with a half grin.

With her newfound cockiness, she lifted her finger in a gesturing motion for them to come and get her. “Come on boys, you can do better than that. What kind of protectors would you be for your future mate if you can’t even defeat me.” She laughed.

Both brothers let out a deep growl, and decided to both attack her at the same time. She sidestepped to the left to get out of Sesshoumaru’s way, only to be tackled by Inuyasha.

Inuyasha with a cocky look on his face straddled Kagome and pinned her arms above her head. “ I have you now mate, looks like we won.” He said in a seductive voice.

“Oh you think so do you?” she growled, with all her demon strength she was able to flip him over onto his back, lifting his arms above his head. She grinned down at him.

Kagome felt Sesshoumaru coming in fast for the kill. She quickly jumped off Inuyasha and was ready for the attack, her ears twitching for the faintest sound but she could not hear anything. She looked around for him; she could feel his presence but just did not see him. Then suddenly Sesshoumaru hoisted her in the air, while Inuyasha was just laughing.

“Put me down, you overgrown dog!” She barked at him. Kagome Desperately tried to escape, but the tight grasp on her arms, proved otherwise. She clawed, kicked and even sunk her teeth into his arm.

“Stop struggling, or you will fall.” He calmly said.

However, she was not listening to him and she finally managed to get out of his grasp. Only to feel nothing beneath her while descended to the ground at a fast rate. Waiting to feel the hard ground that would be her end, she instead felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. Inuyasha caught her while he continued on his journey carry her bridal style. Trying desperately too keep up with his brother.

“Oh this is just great.” She thought. “Now I have to live up to my end of the deal and succumb to being their mates.” She said with a low growl.

“So since I lost, can you at least give me the names of my future mates?” Giving a half grin too Inuyasha.

“My name is Inuyasha Tairo, and my brother’s name is Sesshoumaru Tairo.” quickly Responding to her answer.

The sun was setting in the west, and soon they would reach the Western borders. Kagome rushed with the days experience fell asleep in Inuyasha’s red Haori. Inuyasha looked down to see the sleeping girl, giving an enticing smile.

“Sleep my love for tonight you will be needing your rest.” He said with a big smile.


She awoke to find herself in a giant bed. Looking at her surroundings, she noticed large paintings and tapestries. On the bed, she saw a light blue formal silk Kimono, with white sakura flowers embroidered in the front continuing around the back.

“This is beautiful.” She said, not realizing she said it aloud.

A knock broke her out of her trance. Getting out of the bed she headed for the door. When she opened it, she saw a girl who was at least 18 years of age, she wore a pink Kimono and her hair was pulled into a ponytail.

“Lady Kagome, my name is Sango Mishima and I am here to give you a bath and get you ready so you can join the Lords for dinner my lady.” She said bowing.

Kagome followed Sango into the other part of the bedroom; hiding behind a tapestry was a hot spring. Sango quickly went over to Kagome, but stopped when a confused look adorned her face.

“My lady, I don’t want to sound rude, but wear did you get your attire.” Sango could not help but question.

“Sango, I don’t think you would believe me even if I told you.” Kagome said with sadden eyes.

“ I am sorry my lady, please forgive my rudeness.” Sango said with her head down.

“No Sango you’re ok, I come from 500 years from the future. Two days ago, I came across this well near my shrine. I lost my cat and went down to get him. Then a blue light surrounded me and I ended up here. I tried to go back in the well, hoping I could return. But to no avail I couldn’t.” Kagome said trying to hold back the tears that were now forming in her golden eyes.

She continued with her story. “ I found a village with an older priestess name Kaede, and she took me in. Then last night I decided to go for a walk to clear my thoughts, when suddenly was attacked by two demons. See Sango I was a human girl at the ripe age of 18 and now I am a demon.” Kagome finished. Only this time could not keep the tears from spilling down her flushed face.

“Its ok Kagome, I believe you, now lets get you in this bath and get you ready, my Lords don’t like to be kept waiting.” Sango said, rushing to finish the task at hand.
