Chapter 3:Bumping Into Sesshomaru


Sesshomaru sat high into a tree, shielding himself from the sun's rays. The Lord was in depression. He was lonely, for as long as he could remember. He needed a mate to complete him. He didn't need just any mate, a mate that would teach Rin how to be a lady and have a warm-hearted heart He tried Youkai mates, but they didn't accept Rin for a human. He layed his head back in frustration. Finding a mate was too complicated. Suddenly he heard a voice coming from an nearby village knocking him out of his thoughts. He went to investigate. Once he was there he saw Inuyasha and his wench. Sitting in a tree to get a front row seat, Sesshomaru watched as the wench cursed out the unworthy hanyou. She said some pretty damn good curse words. Sesshomaru had to give her props for talking about the undead bitch in Inuyasha's face even though Inuyasha loved her. This girl seemed like the perfect mate he was looking for, but she was human. Humans reeked of sweat and odor which his nose couldn't stand. Sesshomaru decided to leave, he didn't want to get involved in their worthless affairs. He jumped back into the woods.

Kagome headed towards the forest with her bow and arrows. She didn't want to go home. She needed time alone before going home. As she walked through the woods, she heard a faint cry. Kagome, being as curious as she is, went to go check it out. She saw a little girl who was crying on the ground. "Whats wrong?" Kagome asked. The little girl looked up and was suddenly afraid. She took steps back. "Wait! I won't harm you." Kagome tried to calm the girl down. The girl stood still for a moment, then went towards Kagome. "What's your name?" Kagome asked. "It's R..Ri...Rin." The little girl stuttered. "Are you lost?" Kagome questioned. "Ye..ye...yes! I got separated from my lord!" Rin wailed up in tears again. "Don't cry Rin. I will help you get back to him." Kagome replied.
Rin looked up at Kagome. "Really? Oh thank you so much!" Rin replied. "Hey, no mention it!" Kagome responded with a laugh. The two females walked deeper into the forest. "Rin, how come you were afraid of me the first time?" Kagome questioned. "Because, I don't like villages that much. There are too many mean people there." Rin responded.(Fastforward)It was getting late and the Rin was wiped out. So Kagome carried Rin on her back until she found shelter. Kagome suddenly heard sounds coming from the bushes. She put Rin down and got out her bow and arrows, ready to strike any demon who come their way. The bushes kept rumbling until a tall figure came out of the bushes and was now standing in front of Kagome. This figure had long silver hair and golden amber eyes. Kagome mouth dropped open at the magnificent beauty. "SNAP OUT OF IT KAGOME! THIS IS SESSHOMARU WERE TALKING ABOUT! HE DIDN'T HAVE AN PROBLEM KILLING YOU BEFORE, HE DOESN'T HAVE A PROBLEM NOW!" Kagome stared at the Taiyoukai in fear of what he might do next. Sesshomaru just stared at the raven-haired beauty shine in the sunset. He never seen such beauty in all his years of living.

"I think you have something of mine!" Sesshomaru's voice rumbled through the forest. Looking at the small figure that layed behind Kagome. Kagome looked behind her and shook Rin. "Rin, its time to get up honey, I found your lord." Rin's eyes flopped open at the sound of Kagome's voice, then she turn to face her lord. "LORD SESSHOMARU!" Rin yelled in delight and ran to her lord's side. "I missed you so much! That pretty lady helped me find my way back!" Rin said in an excited tone. Sesshomaru looked back at Kagome for a moment. He then turn around. This Sesshomaru gives you my thanks, and allows you to travel with me to my castle. "Oh please, please Kagome!" Rin yelled jumping up and down. "Well, alright." Kagome replied. "Yay! Rin said while running around. "We will make camp here." Sesshomaru replied. "Jaken! Go collect firewood and don't come back without it!" Sesshomaru ordered. "Yes m'lord, right away." Jaken ran until he was out of sight. Sesshomaru rested against a nearby tree. Kagome sat across from him a little nervous. Rin sat next to Kagome. "Kagome, where are you from?" Rin questioned. Kagome looked at Rin in surprise. "I'm from the future 500 thousand years." Kagome responded. Rin looked in amazment. "What's it like there?" Rin replied with another question. "Oh its really fun. It looks way different from this place. Instead of huts, you have houses. Both boys and girls get to go to school, and we get to travel by a vehicle instead of walking!" Sesshomaru head popped up when he heard Kagome say school where boys and girls go to. Maybe Kagome would be a suitable teacher to teach Rin her studies and how to be a lady. He would ask her later. After all, Rin needed to know about growing up and where babies come from. He started to listen again when Rin asked another question unknown to her. "Kagome, may I ask you a personal question?" Rin asked. "Sure, why not." Kagome responed. "O.k., I really been thinking about this question since Sesshomaru-sama won't tell me. Where do babies come from?" Kagome and Sesshomaru looked at the girl in shocked. O.k. Kagome think, think, think! "Ummm, babies come from the umm, the mountain of Avatar. Yeah! The Mountain of Avatar." Kagome responded quickly.(To let y'all know, Rin is eight years old in the fanfiction) Rin looked at Kagome. "Really, thats it?" "Yeah Rin thats it." Kagome replied. Rin decided not to ask anymore questions and fell asleep beside Kagome. It wasn't long before Kagome fell asleep as well. Sesshomaru looked at the two girls across from him. He mostly stared at Kagome. She looked more beautiful and peaceful when she slept. And the way her beautiful hair sway where the wind blew.
