KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK! "Kagome, Inuyasha, time to get up!"
"Be right out mom!""*Today is going to be a good day, I can feel it. Bright sunshine, clear air, and of course Inuyasha is with me.*
"Hey Kagome, I'll be waiting downstairs."
"Alright, just don't eat everythign before I get down ther-"
"AAAHHH!" How can he get into trouble so soon?! He's only been gone 10 seconds!* Slam! *You have got to be kidding me...*
"Were you raised in a barn?! How coulc you forget to get dressed!" *I guess everyday is an adventure at least, although there goes my perfect day.*
It's not entirely my fault, you were the one who undressed me last night!" After a few tense moments he looks over at Kagome and turns a light shade of red. Kagome couldn't help but laugh at the sight. Never in her wildest dreams did she ever think Inuyasha could blush.
"So who was it?" curiosity had gotten the better of her and was quickly turning her anger into laughter.
"I don't want to talk about it." he replies, all the time turning ever darker shades of red.
"Come on, I have to know!"
"Err, can't we just change the subject?" Kagome laughs a little more. *A few more shades and he'll be as read as his hakama!!* This of course made her laugh even further at Inuyasha's expense.
"Oh, it's not that bad, I mean you didn't walk out in front of my mother right..."
"..."
"Please tell me you didn't do that." Inuyasha only turned an even darker red and lowered his head. *Maybe tomorrow will be a perfect day.*
After quickly getting dressed, some very awkward apologies, and a light breakfast, they were off to the fuedal era.
"I still can't belive you walked out in front of my mother like that!"
"Like what?" Said a very familiar, and all to interested voice.
"Miroku, Sango, what are you doing here!?"
"I'm here too Kagome!"
"Sorry Shippo. So why are you all here?"
" We were wating for you and Inuyasha of course. It's been three days since you both left so we got worried." Replied Sango.
"So as I was saying, what did Inuyasha do, eh Kagome?"
"Well, um, you see..."
"..."
"Well, he kind of stepped out undressed."
"HA, HA, HA, HA! Your mother saw Inuyasha in the nude!" *Maybe Inuyasha is more of a ladies man than I thought...*
"So Inuyasha, why were you undressed?" Miroku said quitely
"Lay off monk, I'm not in the mood for this right now." Inuyasha said coldly. In the mean time Sango was busy helping Kagome out of the well until...
"Ouch!"
"Kagome, what did you do to your shoulder? It, it almost looks like a, oh my..." Sango lowers her voice, "it looks like a demon's mark. Are you and Inuyasha, are you two," her voice drops even further, "are you two mates?" Kagome blushes slightly from her and Inuyasha being found out so easily.
"Yes, it happend three days ago when I left. Please don't tell Miroku, you know how he'll react."
"You mean like his usual lecherous self? Yes, I understand perfectly."
"Just tell me already!" Soon after saying that an all to familiar whirlwind comes up
"What the hell did you do to Kagome you worthless mutt!"
"What business is it of yours Koga? Now get out of here before I lose my temper."
"You took here didn't you mutt-face! you didn't even give her a choice probably!"
"I'm telling you for the final time leave!"
"Not until Kagome is safe with me, I guess we all know what you wanted from her, eh mutt!"
"Inuyasha may be many things Koga, but he would never, and I mean never, do anything to harm Kagome!"
"That's right Miroku! He may be a bully, overbearing, rude, and short tempered to me, but he has never harmed Kagome!"
"Thanks for the positive endorsement Shippo." Inuyasha says flatly
"Anytime."
"That's enough talk, it's time to get rid of this bothersome wolf. WINDSCAR!" And with one mighty swing of his Tetsaiga he unleased the full power of the windscar. "Ha! That'll teach that useless wolf to get in my way."
"That's what you think mutt-face, even with your fancy sword you can't even come close to hitting me! Now, let me show you how to really fight!" As he finished his sentence Koga landed a kick across Inuyasha's chest, sending him into a nearby tree. "Hmph... now to finish him once and for all."
"That's enough Koga!"
"What?! Your still protecting that creep after all he's done to you? I don't think so, I'm going to make sure he never messes with my woman once and for all!"
"FOR THE LAST TIME I'M NOT YOUR WOMAN!"
"And I'm not dead yet wolf!" With a great burst of speed Inuyasha grabs Koga by the throat and lifts him off the ground chocking him."Compared to even half the demons I've faced your nothing more than a small bump in the road to Naraku."
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
"You don't have any room to be making threats wolf, it's over." As Inuyasha was about to break the defeated Koga's neck but a tearful Kagome grabs Inuyasha's arm.
"Inuyasha, let him go."
"Why should I? He's done nothing but trouble for us in the past. I should just kill him now and take his shards of the jewel."
"But does he really have to die? Think of all the times he's helped us? When that hair demon that fell from Naraku attacked, Koga got me away so I couldn't be hurt."
"That's right mutt, you need me to cover your sorry -uugh!" Inuyasha began to tighten his grip on Koga's throat.
"I've had just about enough of you wolf. Did you forget Kagome, that he kidnapped you and took you to his den?"
"It's true, he did kidnap me, but he protected me from the birds of paradise."
"He's also the reason you needed protecting from them!"
"But we got a jewel shard because of it. Also, later he helped us defeat Jiromuru."
"He happed to show up, and you know that I could of beaten him single handedly."
Koga once again cuts in on the conversation which is already tense enough."So what is it goig to be mutt. Are you going to finish me off or what?"
Finally Inuyasha came to a decision on what he was going to do with Koga."Grrr... get out of here wolf, and if I eve see you again, I will kill you."
"Yeah right. As for you Kagome, I'll claim you when the dog is finally gone."
"I'm not your woman Koga!" But it was already too late, Koga was gone, leaving as fast as he had came.
"Thank you Inuyasha" Kagome said meekly.
"You do know that Naraku will go after his shards soon, and he will probably get them?" Inuyasha said grimly.
"Yes, I know."
"I guess that's why we're going to beat Naraku before he can get to Koga." *Did he say what I think he said?* Finally what has just happend hits her. Kagome walks over to Inuyasha and pulls him into a tight hug, at the same time tears form in her eyes.
"Thank you so much Inuyasha."
"Kagome?"
"You didn't have to let him live, and you had a perfect opportunity to kill him, so what made you change your mind?"
"You did. It is as simple as that."
"Inuyasha..."
"Come on Kagome, lets go everyone! We have a demon to slay!"
"So Inuyasha, do we even know where Naraku is yet?"
"No, but that shouldn't be a problem, he usually comes to us, and when he does, we'll finish this once and for all."

Like I said, this chapter is slightly shorter so I'm sorry for that. The next one will be longer probably. As for the date for the next one, probably sometime next week it will be out. I'm still undecided on if it is going to be a lemon though. Oh, and one more thing, REVIEW! Even if you give me a bad review, I don't mind! Well, not so much anyway, but I do like the feedback, and I will answer a few questions now just because I will get flames if I don't explain a bit.
Now we can all agree that Ses is faster than Inuyasha I would imagine. We see near the begining, and in several other episodes that Inuyasha can barely lay a hand on him. That said, please note that Inuyasha severed Ses's arm with the Tetsaiga, so he can, and has hit him. Now I would imagine that although Koga is fast, he is not as fast as Ses. With that said, it makes a fair amount of sense that Inuyasha could probably, with only minor difficulty, get ahold of Koga. So please don't send me flames, or give me a bad review because I let Inuyasha beat Koga. Thank you for your understanding. Oh, and by the way, if you do want to flame me anyway, do it at me e-mail account, it is listed. I want to keep the review area for reviews, not for arguements. Thanks again. Oh yes, I'm attempting to make the story a little more..., powerful I guess the word would be, by bolding loud things and such. Tell me how you all feel about that. Thanks.
