chapter 3
It all started with a Nameless Beauty
~~~^~~~^~~~ Author’s Note: Thank you guys for all of the reviews, I wanted more… but I can settle for this. Keep them coming! If you have any ideas for me I am willing to put them in here. Hopefully, I won’t get writer’s block, but if I do I need your guys’ help! So please, review, tell me what you think and what you want. ^_^ Thanks! ~~~^~~~^~~~ And by the way, I won’t be updating everyday. It just so happens that it was Saturday and Sunday when I did chapter 1 and 2, and I’m sick today, so I’m home writing more and updating more often, don’t expect quick updates! I’m going to run out ideas soon, so give me some time and I’ll TRY to do the best I can. ~~~^~~~^~~~ Another thing: I didn’t like my second chapter… there was some bad grammar and stuff in there, so I have revised it, you can go back and read it again, but nothing changed that much. ~~~^~~~^~~~ Back to the story:

One particular demon fox kept watch over her, watching her gentleness with everyone in the village. He tried to forget her last night, but she continued to haunt him, in the day and in his sleep. He finally gave in and retraced his steps to find her scent. He then came upon the small village where she stayed. He liked watching her. It gave him an exhilarating feeling of a predator watching its prey. That is until something or someone disturbs your peace of mind.

Chapter 3 (want a title?)
Kagome sensed another powerful youkai coming along, and immediately left the village to ensure the safety of the residents living there. She waited until the youkai came into view to take a course of action, that is, until she realized it was a familiar inu.
Sesshoumaru floated on his cloud, with his tail wrapped around him, and came closer to Kagome. Sesshoumaru didn’t recognize the female ahead if him, but as soon as he took a whiff of the air, he realized that this was his human that traveled along side his half-brother. ‘But she was hanyou now!’ “Inuyasha’s bitch, what a pleasant surprise,” he said, with the stench of sarcasm clinging on.
“I am no one’s bitch, dog. Now, what are you doing here?”
“I have come for the half-breed. Oh wait, I mean Inuyasha, not to be mistaken with you.” He replied with a faint smile on his lips.
Kagome snarled, and let her aura flare. Sesshoumaru eyed the Miko carefully, feeling the power she was emanating. Surprised to feel so much power from her, he said, “Do not worry, I am not here to fight you, you aren’t worth my time.” “Scared to fight a girl, are you? Alright, I understand,” she continued to provoke him. She wasn’t just some pushover; she would put up a fight if he tried anything. Sesshoumaru quickly rammed into her and into a tree, knocking the breath out of her. “Trust me, Miko. I can take down any opponent.”
Youko watched from the trees and listened on, ‘so this girl is a Miko, no wonder she’s so powerful.’ He finally came to a conclusion to not interfere. He wanted to see what his future mate was capable of, and if anything drastic happened, he would step in and give her a hand.
Right after Sesshoumaru finished his sentence, Kagome was pinned to a tree by Sesshoumaru's body and it seemed like her life was about to end. But Kagome would not show fear. She would stand up for herself. “Go ahead. Kill me like you do everyone else! What are you going to gain? Absolutely NOTHING!”
‘What was this girl doing?’ Sesshoumaru thought ‘She was asking him to kill her!’ He had never met anyone so brave, especially a woman. Sesshoumaru stepped back and looked her up and down. She wasn’t bad looking either.
“Come,” he said.
“What?” she responded extremely confused.
“I will not repeat myself. For your life, you will follow me wherever I go as a debt. You will be mine.”
In truth, he was testing her to see if she was worthy of being his mate in the first place. She had a fire in her that refused to go out, and he liked a challenge. “Like hell I will!” she yelled back.
Sesshoumaru turned around and faced her. He walked towards her, taking his time with every step. Putting one foot in front of another at an agonizing pace, he was prolonging what was to come and to make her mind go haywire. Kagome’s eyes showed her emotions. Nothing was hidden from the taiyoukai. Anger, curiosity, and fear flashed in her irises.
He finally reached her, and placed one hand out under her chin and the other around her waist, and forcefully pressed his lips upon hers. Kagome struggled against his hold and pushed with all her might against his chest, but he would NOT budge. The only option left was to use her Miko powers. She concentrated on her hands and Sesshoumaru, collecting her power in her arms; she finally gave him one final shove. The surprised youkai was thrown 10 feet away without a scratch; he got away just in time. “Alright then, if you do not wish to come now, I will be back for you later. Remember that.” And with those words, he disappeared. Kagome’s knees gave out, and she collapsed. ‘How dare he! He stole my first kiss!’ With Kagome near tears, she didn’t realize someone approaching her from.
Kagome froze as she felt arms around her. She didn’t dare look in the figures face. “Don’t cry, mate. I won’t let anyone else touch you from now on,” the same voice from last night spoke. Kagome put her hands on his chest and tried to push him away, but her attempt was futile, she was out of energy. Youko took her into his arms and held on tight. He rubbed her back while saying soothing words in her ear.
Here she was, in the middle of an open area, in the arms of another she barely, crying. She continued to pull away, ‘why is this happening to me? 2 youkais? And Kouga? That makes three! And the one I want I can’t have.’ ***Ah, the irony***
Finally, Youko let his arms loosen and looked her in the eye. “Are you ok?” he asked with concern. Kagome simply nodded and sniffled.
“I should go now.” She said and stood up. “Please just leave me alone.”
“I’m sorry, but I won’t. Not with you being chased by that dog.” He stated.
“I’m sorry.”
“Sorry for what?”
“For this.”
Kagome used the remaining energy she collected during the length of time they had embraced and blasted him into another tree. She dashed towards the direction of the well, in hopes of leaving this crazy world.
