Chapter 3

The Invertation


“Put me down” Kagome raised her voice a little, Inu obeyed. She barely took 3 steps before she was falling, she was obviously more tried than she thought but she didn’t hit the floor. Inu caught her.
Inu put her on his bed “Kagome have a rest here”.
Kagome laid her head down and muttered before she drifted off to sleep “Have to see mum and Sess soon”

-------- 1 Hour Later---------

“ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH” Kagome screamed seeing Inu snuggled into her. Sango, Miroku and Kouga came running in.
“Must have fallen asleep” Inu muttered rubbing his eyes.
“What the hell, dog crap?” Kouga yelled.
“Inu, you naughty boy” Miroku had a smirk on his face.
“Shut your mouth Miroku or else” Inu got up
“Or else what?” Miroku just had to ask and for it got a punch in his head.
Kagome had backed up into the corner Sango was crawling on the bed to her.
“Don’t mind them Kagome, no matter what they say they won’t hurt you” Sango sat down next to her “We want to be your friend, all 4 of us”
Kagome knew what a few words mean and ‘friend’ was one of them, she wanted to have friends. Her ears stood straight, Sango knew Kagome was interested in what she was saying.
“Yeah we moved here 4 years ago, like Kouga said, every time Inu heard your singing the more determined he grew to meet you. Every weekend he said ‘today will be the day’ but of course you where too smart for us, you always had a trick or 2 up your sleeve” Kagome looked up into Sango’s eyes “So when he actually succeeded today he was really surprised. You know Inu does have a temper but he would never hurt anyone by it, we understand that you are not used to being this many people but we will wait until you are ready”
Kouga and Inu were fighting, Miroku had slipped next too Kagome.
“Kagome out of all of us Inu wanted to meet you the most, it’s like he was playing a game, he never gave up until he won. He always had a positive feeling in seeing you, Inu knew one day would come and he didn’t rest until that day came” Miroku said.
Kagome was shocked that someone who hadn’t known her would go to such extremes.
“You know Kagome you may think people judge you because you’re different. It’s what’s on the inside that counts and I can tell now that Inu doesn’t care what you look like, he just cares that he finally got to meet the girl with the singing voice of an angel” Sango stated.
Kagome stood up on the bed and ran to Inu. She leaped off the bed and Inu caught her, her fear was gone but something else replaced it, Kagome didn’t know the emotion going though her she has never felt this way about anyone other than her mum, Sess and her grandpa.
“Inuyasha” Kagome cried
“Hey!!!! Kagome are you alright? What’s wrong?” Inuyasha pleaded.
Kagome just cried, cried until she could cry no longer. Over her whole life she had cried once and that was in her mum’s arms, she always put on a brave face. Now she cried like that little girl, she cried her heart out.
Kagome needed someone to take the burden off her shoulders she needed someone to accept her. Most importantly she needed a friend.
Inu was about to move away from Kagome.
“Inuyasha can we stay like this for a while, please?” Kagome looked into Inu’s face.
“Sure thing” Inu picked Kagome up and sat on his bed. He sat cross legged and Kagome was curled up into his lap. Inu stroked Kagome’s hair.
“Hey, Kag” Inu said to get her attention.
“Yeah” Kagome looked up.
“Well you said you needed to visit your mum maybe we can take you there”
“Really” Kagome eyes were sparkling. “Kag????”
“It’s a nickname”
“Nickname???”
”Umm…..It’s a short name from your own name….Like everyone calls me Inu for short”
”Oh”

“Hey Sa-Chan” Kagome walked into the kitchen.
“Oh Kag-Chan, good afternoon” Sango was sitting at the table.
“Umm… Sa-Chan well I don’t know you very well but… Umm” Kagome didn’t know how to ask Sango, she had asked anyone in her life before.
“Would you like to come to my house tonight?” Kagome blurted out in one breath.
Sa-Chan’s eyes brightened and she looked straight into Kag’s eyes.
“Is that a yes?” Kag looked out the window the sun was about an hour before setting.
“Crap, it’s already this late” Kag rushed out the door “Sa-Chan I’ll meet you at my house ok” and the door slammed shut.
“Hey Sango what’s with the banging?” Miroku approached Sango.
“Maybe Kag-Chan’s afraid of the dark?” Sango was a bit confused.
“Hello, anyone in there” Miroku waved a hand in front of Sango’s face. “By any chance was that Kagome-sama that left”
“What’s up?” Kouga came down, Inu following.
“Where’s Kag?” Inu looked around.
“Oh… By the way I’m going out tonight” Sango stated.
“Wha…What? Where?” Miroku asked shocked.
“Well if you have to know, Kag-Chan invited me to her place tonight?”
Everyone was quiet except Sango she was singing happily to herself, she was excited to be going to Kag-Chan’s house.
“Kagome-sama likes to keep surprising us doesn’t she? I thought it would take us a while to get her to come to terms with us” Miroku said as Sango left the room.
“Yeah… Maybe cause Sango is a girl Kagome-san fells a bit comfortable” Kouga said.

---------------- Half an Hour Later ----------------------

“Right, I’ll be back tomorrow” and Sango left, skipping along the footpath to Kagome’s house.
Sango rang the doorbell “Kag-Chan it’s me Sa-Chan” she opened the door and saw Kag-Chan just coming to open the door.
“You came, I thought you wouldn’t come”
“Of course I came, how would I become your friend if we didn’t get to know you”
“I’m so glad you came” Kag-Chan grabbed Sa-Chan’s bag.
“So what have you got planned for tonight”
“Well first how about I show you round”

-------------------------10 Minutes Later---------------------------

“Where did you get this house from Kag-Chan, it’s really nice”
“I got it from my dad, he heard that I had moved out so he immediately bought me this house and I don’t have to worry about the bills either, he pays them. I tried to reason with him but he wouldn’t hear of it” Kag-Chan loved talking about her father he was such a wonderful person he would do anything if someone needed help.
“Wow, your dad must be a wonderful person” Sa-Chan said as if reading Kag-Chan’s thoughts.
“He’s the best he was in a very popular band it was named… Street Rage”
“Street Rage……. I love that band, which guy’s your dad”
“The singer”
“Really, your dad is a freaking god. The 4 of us are like the number 1 fans of Street Rage….by any chance are some of the things your dad wears real?”
“Yeah but still he loves wearing wild out of this world clothes”
“Wow”
“Every weekend I go see my dad, he is usually hanging and playing music the guys adore me and my voice so when I get there they wait like 5 minutes before they want me to sing, and it happens I’m going tomorrow”
Sa-Chan was getting more surprised by the minute
“You can come if you want?”
“WWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!?” Sa-Chan screamed.
“I mean you and the guys can come with me to see my dad and the gang”
Sa-Chan was speechless for once in her life.

---------Back at Inu’s House-------------

“You wimpy coward what are you still doin’ here” Inu yelled
“Yeah I’m going now mutt face” Kouga yelled back. Kouga was heading out the door when they heard Sango scream.
Inu didn’t hesitate he bolted out the door with Miroku and Kouga on his tail
The 3 of them burst in.
