Within minutes the team of shard searchers were on their feet, Kagome clinging to InuYasha as he ran, with her firmly on his back, in the direction of the demons that the villager pointed out. Miroku and Sango were close behind on Kirara. Apparently a group of giant toad demons were attacking a village close to their camp, slaughtering those who were too weak to get away. Once they reached the village they saw the bloody corpses and remains of the victims, mainly victims and children covered in a green goo. The place spelled like eggs that had been sat out in the sun for months then eaten then thrown up.

Kagome was the first to see the demons squinting into the distance she released a purifying arrow, watching it zip and speed toward the large amphibious beast destroying it on contact and making it explode into a rain of green liquid that stuck to the Earth in a foul pool. InuYasha could barely be seen rushing beyond the puddle of goo that used to be a rampaging monster, his claws shredding another beast into strips, the matter spilling onto his hands and his front. Sango's Hiraikotsu flew threw the air cutting one more of the demonics. Catching the giant boomerang bone she rushed forward hitting them without the distance between them. That along with InuYasha's claws took care of remaining demons leaving Gaea stained a darker shade of the grass and because of their close-range attacks both the exterminator and the hanyou were drenched in unknown, but non-the-less disgusting toad remains.

After having the monk seal the liquid left behind by the toads with one of his famous and powerful sutras, the group made their way back to camp, finding it undisturbed and the same as before. With the continuous smell of death and youkai slime drifting and lingering next to the two fighters who did the most damage the silver-haired hanyou wasted no time, quickly rushing to the hot spring Sango had bathed in before. Thus leaving her to wait without. Miroku had offered to help her clean a bit. Pretending to wipe away traces of demonic flesh from Sango's black suit, the monk's with a gentle, placid smile on his face moved his hand gliding over Sango's chest and squeezed a soft mound.

A snarl left the mouth of a certain red-eyed person as he stared into his servant's mirror. How dare that perverted monk touch her? She was his... only he knew this, but it didn't change the fact that he felt that she belonged to him and only he should have the privilege of touching her softer, womanly parts. As he watched the monk grab one of her breasts an idea popped into his mind... A way to have his Sango. It's a good thing she need a bath... it was perfect.

Sango was about to beat Miroku into a bloody pulp for his wondering hands when she heard the faint trickle of water coming from the opposite direction of the familiar spring? Perhaps she over looked it earlier? Deciding it was best to bathe as the smell of the dead beast that lingered on her was about to make her hurl. The taijya ran off, before she could punished the lecher, grabbing a square of blue cloth from her traveling bag and forgetting her weapons and the others to find the source of water.

After fifteen minutes of running to the east, the exterminator found what had to have been the most relaxing looking hot spring she had ever seen. It was surrounded by smooth boulders and one with a flat upper side stuck out from the steaming water. 'Perfect...' she thought. With ease she peeled the black, newly green stained textile that acted as a slightly used second skin from her body. Expirementally she dipped her toes in, feeling the water's warmth revive the small appendages and wash away the filth of the day, before she slid into the welcoming water. She sighed in relief, becoming comforted and cleansed by the embrace of Earth's tears.

She ducked under the surface, holding her breath as she used her fingers to remove the gross bits of demon that clung to her, scrubbing her hair and flesh with vigor. Once she felt she was clean and the smell no longer clung to her covering her scent, Sango leaned against the rock the stood in the middle of the stream. Her eyes slowly closed and she felt peaceful for the moment. That is until a low rumble from beneath her got her attention and she shot from the water, wrapping the blue towel she had grabbed earlier, around her. She looked back to the spring, dust clinging to her wet feet and lower leg, water dripping from her daring dash, just in time to see the heavenly source of natural heated water sink into the Earth. 'What the..'

Whatever Sango was thinking was interrupted by thick vines, devoid of light, springing from the ground, the tips closing around her wrists and ankles pulling her down towards the seemingly solid ground. She didn't even have a chance to scream before everything went black and she passed through the layers of continental crust, dragged by the vines...

The beautiful taijya awoke surrounded by darkness, her limbs heavy and slightly numb, yet tingling. Jerking her leg she heard a soft "clink" and felt an unknown weight hold her down as something clasped her ankle. Her hands fumbled around in the dark, waving wildly as she searched around the air, afraid of what she might or not find. Her mind was hazy and her memory a bit on the cloudy side. She continued until she found a small oil lamp, which she lit with haste. Soon her eyes adjusted to the dim illumination that surrounded her and she found herself frightened and confused.

Her left ankle was shackled, with a chain that left enough room for her to stand and walk a short distance, to an end post of a bed, on which she lay, covered in dark, silk, sheets. She fell off the bed, not aware of the weakness in her legs until that moment, balancing on her hands and wobbly knees Sango stumbled about a bit searching for something----- Anything! 'Where the Hell am I...?'

From a corner of the room clad in shadow came a deep, baritone voice... "Ahhh... Slayer, you're awake."
