Inu Yasha had come into the club with Kikyo in tow, looking for Kagome. His eyes scanned the crowd, and finally, it was Kikyo who spotted her. Inu Yasha growled. Kagome was on the dance floor, and moving very sensually. He let go of Kikyo’s hand and moved towards the dance floor. The music stopped, and all of a sudden they had the entire club’s attention. Inu Yasha smirked.

However, Kagome had been thought that he might just show up and start something, so she decided to play his game with him.

“If you want to talk about whores, let’s discuss the one that is hiding a few feet away from you. Seems that she will fuck anything that has a dick and wanting a cheap thrill. And speaking of cheap thrills, it seems that you were having a grand old time yesterday so don’t you dare come in here and speak to me about whoring around. The fact of the matter is…I am mated to the owner and have not touched, don’t want to touch, and will never touch another male besides him. You see, unlike you and your bitch, I don’t have a need to cheat. Now, I do believe that Kouga banned you and your whore from this club. I suggest that you leave before he has you tossed out on your hanyou ass.” Kagome said, smirking as she watched Inu Yasha’s face fall.

He was about to retort, but then he noticed that the wolf demon that had been sitting at the table, and put his arm around Kagome’s waist. He turned to the crowd and apologized for the disruption, and promised free drinks for the next hour. The crowd cheered and watched as the poor hanyou in front of them was destroyed before their eyes.

“I believe my mate spoke the truth, half-breed. And now, you are trespassing on my property.” Kouga said, his eyes narrowing.
Sesshomaru came up behind Inu Yasha. “Oh, come now Kouga. I am sure that Inu Yasha has a very good reason as to why he is here. Perhaps he is here to offer his congratulations to you and your lovely new mate. Or maybe he heard that I was going to be here and he wanted to pay his brother a visit. So, which is it, Inu Yasha?” Sesshomaru asked, slinging an arm around his half-brother’s shoulders.

Inu Yasha stiffened. Kagome had already made him look like a fool, and now, he would have his brother to answer to. He glared at the wolf demon, but Kouga never noticed him. He was too busy staring at Kagome. So, he directed his attention towards Sesshomaru.

“And why the fuck are you here? Don’t you have to go and destroy someone’s hopes and dreams, or has it been a slow day?” Inu Yasha snapped.

“Now, now. No need to be vicious. I am here to visit a dear friend and find out that you are a bigger loser than I originally thought.” Sesshomaru sneered.

Inu Yasha growled. He flexed his claws and looked back at Kagome. That stupid wolf was now whispering to Kagome, who had her eyes closed and had a smile on her face. Damn her and damn him.

“You would be wise not to take your eyes off me, mutt. You never know what I might do to you.” Sesshomaru warned.

Inu Yasha’s attention snapped back to his brother, and said, “If you are here to defend that dirty wolf and his bitch, don’t waste your time. I don’t want her anymore. If she can change partners in only a few hours, she is not worth my time.”

Sesshomaru glared at him. “That girl is worth more than you and your whore combined. All you had to do was be faithful to her, and you didn’t even do that right. You are a shame to our family name, and I will not allow you to continue making a fool of our family. Consider yourself fired, and before you think about suing me for wrongful termination, remember a few months ago, and I had you sign a piece of paper. Did you ever read it?”

Inu Yasha thought back and then slowly nodded. Then it hit him. That was Sesshomaru’s saving grace.

“Ahh, I see from the look on your face that you now know what happened. Yes, it was an agreement between us stating that I may terminate your employment without due cause. Had you been faithful to that young lady and not acted like a fool, I would have kept you around, no matter how incompetent you are. After all, you would have needed to provide for your family. However, I will not allow you to rut around with the likes of the whore that you brought here and pay you for your laziness. Come to the office on Monday, and collect your belongings.” Sesshomaru ordered. He looked over at Kouga who now had Kagome in a tight embrace. Kagome was watching the entire scene and had a small smile on her lips. Sesshomaru knew what that look was…it was satisfaction. Inu Yasha was now hurting and knew the meaning of the word betrayal.

Inu Yasha hung his head and walked past his brother, intent on leaving. Kikyo, on the other hand, had about enough of being called a whore. She stepped up and glared at Kouga.

“I want you to know that I did and still do love you. I made a mistake, but so did you. Or have you not told your precious Kagome about Ayame? Judging from the look on your face, you have not. So, I will tell her.” Kikyo said, looking at Kagome. “Ayame was his girlfriend before me. Like him, she is a wolf demon. He was engaged to her, but left her once he started to date me. Now, he leaves me for you. How long do you think it will be before he finds something else to taste while you sit on the sidelines?”

Kouga began to growl. Kikyo had not told the whole truth about Ayame. He stepped forward, but Kagome had pulled him back. Instead of letting him do the talking, Kagome was going to deal with it.

“Tell me, why are you so concerned? Telling me about this Ayame tells me that you are trying to get me angry at him and doubt him. However, looking at your neck, he has not marked you and I am betting that he never marked her. If she is the woman that Shippo was telling me about, then the reason why he left her was because she wanted to mate with another, and he allowed her out of the engagement. Unlike you, she didn’t fuck around. In fact, I was told that Kouga and Ayame are very good friends, and I don’t intend on worrying myself about his friends. It would be wise if you followed Inu Yasha’s lead and leave. Otherwise, I am going to whip your ass all around this club and not stop until I have broken every single bone in your body. If you will remember, I am the one that knocked Inu Yasha out, and you are not nearly his size, so what do you think I could do to you?” Kagome said, stepping closer to the woman.

Kikyo began to back up, but was stopped when she bumped into a body. She turned around and came face-to-face with another female with long black hair and a scowl on her face.

“So, this is the bitch that was screwing around with Inu Yasha?” She asked.

Kagome nodded. “Yep. Oh, let me introduce you, since you are probably going to become quite familiar with her. Sango, this is Kikyo. Kikyo, this is Sango, who is going to probably kick your ass now.”

Sango stepped forward and reached for Kikyo, but a hand clamped down on her wrist. She looked up and into the face of the demon Inu Yasha had called Sesshomaru.

“Do not lower yourself by touching this piece of garbage. It is below you and this bitch needs her mouth in working order. I am sure that Inu Yasha would miss her ‘talents’.” Sesshomaru told her.
The crowd laughed, and Kikyo moved away and walked towards the exit. With one glance back, she grabbed the defeated hanyou and dragged him out of the club. Suddenly, the crowd erupted in cheers and the music started up again.

Kagome found herself back in Kouga’s arms. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Let’s go upstairs. We need to talk.”

Kagome nodded, and turned to Sango and Miroku. She told them that she was probably going to call it a night, and to tell Shippo that they knew her. She said that he would treat them right. After they told her goodnight, Kagome went to Kouga, who was shaking Sesshomaru’s hand. Together, they told Sesshomaru good night as well, and went upstairs.

After locking the door behind them, Kouga turned towards Kagome.

“Are you ok, baby?” He asked.

Kagome nodded and smiled up at him. “I am fine. In fact, I feel free. I am no longer chained to him and it feels wonderful.”

Kouga smiled at her, and sat down on the couch, motioning to her to sit in his lap. Once she had settled down, he said, “I am sorry that I didn’t tell you about Ayame, but she is a dear friend and I did not see the need, but know that I did not leave her as Kikyo said.”

Kagome put a finger to his lips to silence him. “Shippo told me all about Ayame. He said that you two began talking after I started to come in and you told him about her. He explained what had happened and I honestly don’t see what the big deal is.”

“Well, the big deal is that Ayame and I were betrothed by our tribes. When I decided to come here, I left my tribe and brought my two friends with me, and Ayame stayed behind. Well, after some time, she met and fell in love with another wolf demon. She came to me and asked to be let out of the arrangement. When she explained that she was not in love with me, but another, I agreed. I don’t want the woman I am with to be miserable. But we remained friends and our tribes have flourished. But, I guess I trusted the wrong person with my secrets and she tried to hurt you with them, and for that, I am so sorry.” Kouga said, hugging Kagome to him.

“No need to apologize. I know that you would never hurt me, so let’s try to have a good time tonight and forget all about Inu Yasha and his tramp.” Kagome said.

Kouga nodded and let his eyes roam down to her breasts. He licked his lips and leaned forward to nip at her shirt. Kagome watched him with interested eyes. Sesshomaru turned and smirked at him. “You really hate the half-breed, don’t you?”

Kouga nodded. Sesshomaru sighed. “Well, we took his job, let’s take his whore next. I have a plan that I think you might find very interesting.”

Kouga’s eyes widened as Sesshomaru told him what he wanted to do. After hearing his plan, Kouga began to laugh. “I love it. That will teach both of them to keep their hands to themselves.”

It was a very sweet plan, indeed.
