After another kiss to his brother, and a soft “Ai shiteru, Inuyasha”, which his sibling returned, the miko finally yawned and relaxed, drifting off to sleep in her two lover’s arms.

Sesshoumaru glanced at his younger brother for a moment, and smiled slightly and the tired, loving way the hanyou watched their new mate. The younger of the two kissed Kagome’s forehead before resting his own head and falling asleep, staying awake just long enough to murmur to his brother, “I think this was one of your better plans, Sesshoumaru.”

Said youkai merely smiled and kissed his mate’s temple, then laid his head down to regain his energy as he heard her whisper something to him he had not expected, and had only heard her say to his brother.

“Ai Shiteru, Sesshoumaru.” The sleepy voice made him nuzzle her throat momentarily before replying to both his brother and his mate in three simple words.

“As do I.”
