Chapter Two: Learning

Taisei ran around Inuyasha, stopping in front of him and putting her hands on his knees.
“Uncle Inuyasha, where is my mommy? Where’d she go?”
Inuyasha smiled at her. “Mommy went to go take a bath, okay? She said for you to stay with us.”
Taisei smiled. “Okay!”
She went around, eventually wanting to see other parts of the village. They took her and showed her around, however not going into the forest. She made one friend fast. A little brown haired, blue eyed girl her age, named Michiko.
They played for a while, Inuyasha eventually telling Taisei that they had to leave.
She complained, but followed. Inuyasha realized that this girl was easily loved, because she was so nice, and wouldn’t hurt a fly knowingly.

As they bathed, the three women talked. Sakura told them about how she had always traveled, and how she nearly died once.
“It wasn’t very fun,” she said, “having ten arrows shot through my back. But I lived, thanks to who is now Taisei’s father. He and I, do not get along very well anymore, ever since…oh never mind. Where are you guys from?”
Sango and Kagome told Sakura about their histories, and Sakura was amazed, especially by where Kagome was from.
Kagome was trying to see if Sakura acted any weirdly. She did. Kagome noticed that Sakura would not show her back to them, ever. Not even when they had to dress, she walked behind them. Kagome tried letting her go first, but she wouldn’t. It was like she was trying to hide something on her back.
When they got back, Taisei was sleeping on Inuyasha’s lap, with one thumb In her mouth and the other hand clenched onto his haori. Kagome, Sango, and Sakura all laughed.
Sakura tried to wake up Taisei, but Taisei said, “I wanna sleep here.”
Sakura smiled. Inuyasha said. “I don’t mind.”
Sakura nodded and went off to another side of the hut. Kagome found it slightly funny that Sakura and Inuyasha slept in the exact same position.
‘Well they are cousins after all.’
As everyone went to sleep, Sakura thought, ‘What now? Taisei obviously has grown fond of Inuyasha. She will be devastated if he dies. But…I can’t give this plan up now. It is too late.’
She fell asleep thinking.

Sakura woke up before dawn, as she had sensed something.
She stood up, smiling at the sleeping Taisei. She was still sleeping on Inuyasha, and he had one arm around her.
‘I see he grew fond of her as well.’ Then she frowned. ‘But Inuyasha, I despise you for what you did.’
She walked out of the hut, and into the forest.
“Naraku, I know that you are there.”
Naraku jumped from a tree, to in front of her.
“Sakura, I have been watching you. You seem to like these people.” He said, narrowing his eyes.
She laughed. “I will never like Inuyasha! It is called acting Naraku. You need not watch me. I know what I am doing.”
He nodded. “I will not watch you, as much. I will still watch you. But not directly. You will see.
She watched as he left, feeling slightly confused. She walked back to the village, only to be met halfway by Inuyasha, carrying Taisei in his arms.
“Sakura why are you up?” He asked.
“No reason. I just woke up and decided to take a walk.”
He shrugged. “Just checking.”
She smiled. “I see Taisei has grown fond of you.” She said, pointing to her.
“Yeah I guess.”
“It is good, because maybe I can leave her with you, so she doesn’t have to go through what she has been through ever again.”
He was confused as she walked back into the hut.
‘What does she mean?’
The day was a relaxing day. Taisei went off to play with Michiko. Sakura talked with Sango and Kagome as they walked, and Inuyasha watched Taisei. Miroku was off somewhere, most likely being the pervert he was.
Nothing really happened until the end of the day though.
Everyone was walking toward the hut for dinner, so they weren’t really expecting it. Taisei was in Inuyasha’s arms, happy, when suddenly, her body lifted into the air.
“Huh?” She started being pulled backward, and she was caught by someone in a black cloak.
“UNCLE INUYASHA!!!” She screamed as the person sped away.
“TAISEI!!” Sakura screamed.
“Inuyasha what happened!?” Kagome asked worried. “Why didn’t you catch her?!”
Inuyasha looked at the burnt spot where the person had been standing.
“I couldn’t move. My entire body was frozen.” Then he turned angry. “But the bastard who did it will pay.”
He cracked his knuckles.
He sped off. Kagome and Sango were on Kirara (Inuyasha sped off too fast) Miroku was running slightly slower than Inuyasha, and Sakura was running faster.
‘I know who did this!’ She thought. ‘And he will pay!’


Short chapter I know. Sorry. It is like three in the morning, and I have to go somewhere later today. My last vacation before school starts, besides possibly Six Flags.
