Eternally Yours
Who are you?
3.
Sango felt warm and cared
for and she knew she smiled and buried her face deeper into the softness that
surrounded her. “So this is how death is like?” she thought and savoured
the warmth. “It is so warm and it smells good, it smells like…. Why does
death smells like a guy?” she frowned and tried to cope with the new
information her nose told her brain. But then she felt someone touch her face
and she reacted just like she would have against the groping monk she knew. Her
hand moved by her self and connected with a loud smack against someone’s cheek.
-
Hey lady, take it easy with D, he is only trying to help
you!!!
Sango heard the sardonic
voice and she made a snorting sound. “I am dead… am I not?” She forced
her eyelids to open and she had to shade her eyes from the radiating sun. She
had used her right hand and her shoulder did not hurt her anymore. “So I must
be dead then, because if I were alive I would feel pain.” she reasoned. But
the sun was soon blocked out by a large figure and she felt her heart flutter in
fear.
-
Who are you? she asked with a raspy voice.
-
Thirsty? asked the figure with a dark voice, ignoring her
question.
She nodded and the figure
helped her raise her head and she was given a small amount of water. She closed
her eyes as the water soothed her dry throat. “I am weak and thirsty, so I
must still be alive, how odd that may seem.” She thought and lay back on the
ground again.
-
Please tell me your name, she begged weakly.
-
Sleep some more, you are still healing, came the rough
answer.
-
Don’t give me that, I am quite aware of the fact that I am
not dead, but I want to know who you are!! snarled Sango with all her strength.
-
Just call him D, because he will never tell you his real
name, said that taunting voice again.
Sango paled even more if
that was a possibility. Her dark green, almost black green eyes flickered over
the area, but she could only detect the dark figure that sat next to her.
-
Who said that?? she asked with bad disguised fear.
-
Sleep now, we talk later, said the dark figure.
-
No chance in hell that I could get you to tell me your name
is there?
He shook his head and she
closed her eyes and felt herself drift off to a much needed healing sleep.
He heard her fall asleep
and he took a deep breath and moved to rest against the tree again.
-
You like her don’t you? asked the voice.
-
Be silent.
-
She will only break your heart and you know it D, taunted the
voice.
He growled under his
breath and pushed his left palm into the dirt of the ground, effectively
silencing the questioning voice. He did not want to hear any more of it. He was
aware of his hearts desire and the young woman in his care was just the thing
his heart needed. But he refused to see it. He was a dampeal, half human, half
vampire. He was damned to live his life alone.
But a small part of his
heart ached for company, and now he had condemned another soul to the same dark
existence as himself. Once she got the knowledge she would probably hate him
and try to kill him for it. “But she will be alive.” The voice of his
dark heart shouted out the words and he took a deep breath. Yes, she will be
alive; perhaps she would kill a lot of vampires before she left the country. He
could only hope, it would make his work so much easier. Just to see her wipe out
four vampires in a very wounded state had him believe that she was the one for
him. The one to travel with him to cleanse the land from the pestilence called
blood suckers. “Like you are any different, you took her blood; you drank her
blood and enjoyed it. You made her into one too.” He knocked the back of his
head into the tree, trying to silence the guilty voice inside his head. “She
is alive, she will be able to live on.” he said in his counter attack.
-
Please forgive me… he whispered into the burning sun.

Dampeal? Is that the real title? Correct spelling? Please
notify me if I am spelling it wrong.
Does anyone knows if the face in the hand has a name?
Do I get D:s persona right?
