CHAPTER THREE — RIN AND SESSHOUMARU —

Sesshoumaru woke to rin’s terrified screams he rushed to her side to see what was wrong and noticed she was asleep. When he woke her up she hugged him tight saying” don’t let the wolves get me, please don’t let them get me”. ‘hmmm’ he thought ‘she still has nightmares about wolves even after so many years’. He let her hug him as they walked down to the town. The she saw kagome give something to sango it looked like one of those things she baught two days ago. ‘Whatever’ he thought ‘none of my business’. He finally got down to the breakfast table inuyasha built and sat down, rin sitting down next to him. Inuyasha and miroku came down an hour later after there both. Inuyasha and miroku sat down next to there respective partners.he noticed that kagome had already eaten her third bowl of rice. Inuyasha told her to slow down but she wasn’t listening. As this was happenning he noticed that sango and miroku were paying more attention to each other than there food. when he looked up again he noticed that they were gone again .knowing full well that the horny monk oviously wanted to get more acquainted with her again.
After him and rin finished there food they went into the forest to relax. When they got there they found an especially nice tree to hide from the sun with. they sat down and he decided it was time to ask her.”hey rin could I ask you a question?” “Sure why not?”she said, her blue eyes staring up at him while twirling hiir iir in her fingers.” I don’t want to sound rude, but do you want to tonight?”.

When he got there he saw miroku and inuyasha sitting and talking about kagome’s pregnancy ‘miroku must have just walked her to their hut’ he thought. “So how’s kagome?” said miroku.”she’s doing fine exept for her getting up in the middle of the night and eating somthing, I don’t know why she just doesn’t ask me to sleep near the wall instead of making me move to let her out” said inuyasha kinda disturbed. “Well you know kagome she can be just as stubborn as you sometimes” said miroku. “What I’m not stubborn!” shouted inuyasha.”yes you are “sesshoumaru cut in. “Who asked you” shouted inuyasha. “Calm down brother, I hope you don’t act this way around your children” said sesshoumaru. Inuyasha just harumphed and turned around. “See my brother your being stubborn again” said sesshoumaru. “Yeah well .....” he trailed off and said something else “ your right I’ve got to relax besides if kagome saw me like this she’d probably tell me to grow up ”. “yep” miroku and sesshoumaru said in unison.
At the hot springs the girls finished washing up and decided to relax in the water a bit.”hey guy’s “said rin “can you tell me what it’s like?”. kagome in her clueless wisdom asked “what what’s like?”. rin replied “you know it”. Sango got the picture real quick.” you mean to tell us even after all this fondleing between you to you haven’t even tried yet?”. “well I wasn’t sure I wanted to all those times so we didn’t” said rin. Just then kaede came through the bushes holding a basket of demon berries. She walked up to kagome and said to her” I want thee to eat two of these after every meal ok”. “why?” kagome replied. “Because it helps the demon infants develop better” sesshoumaru interrupted. “correct” said kaede, and with that she lthe the basket and headed back to her hut. Songo left and said she would be right back . kagome stared at the golf ball sized berries she tired to bite into it only to find out it had a very hard cover like a miniature cocoanut. She hurt her tooth and sesshoumaru just smirked “you have to open them first”he said to her. “will you help me?”saigomegome. “No have inuyasha do it for you” he said. Rin gave him a be nice look and he apologized. Before he could help inuyasha had climbed out of the tree and broke one oped for her. The inside was just as black as the outside.”yuck “ said kagome “it smells like raw meat”. “of course it dose that’s where it gets it’s name”said sessoumaru “but don’t wory it tastes alright”. Inuyahsa glared at him”how would you know” he said.”because injured demons eat them to replenish there missing limbs.”he said pointing to his arm. Inuyasha had always wondered how his arm grew back. kagome was still nervous about taking a bite but when she finally did she discovered it kinda tasted like a mix between strawberries and banana’s. “mmmm” she said “these are good”. “What did yours taste like” asked sesshoumaru. She told him and he said ”mine tasted like beef”. “ really” said kagome. “yep, it all depends on who eats them and what there favorite food is” said sesshuomaru. miroku was listening to there little chat when sango came back with a big smile on her face.”what are you so happy about?”said miroku. She whispered something in his ear and his face lifted with glee”really? are you sure?” he said. She nodded. Kagome finished her second berry and turned to face sango” whats up?”she said to sango. “well” she said her smile going wider “looks like you aren’t the only one expecting a bundle of joy this year”. They all congratulated sango and miroku and went to there homes for bed. Well everyone except rin and sesshoumaru.
They didn’t bother with a fire because the moon was so bright they could see just fine. “Well” said rin to him “I’m ready to try now”. Sesshoumaru agreed but added “if you want to stop any time we can ok”. “ok” said rin who had on the most sly grin he had ever saw. He then realized what the girls were doing all day long .
