The well house

Ok, so here comes part 3 of this odd little thing...

 

“He said he would come
for me….” Ayumi looked out
the window and saw the starlit sky above. It was Sunday night and tomorrow it
was time for school again. She dreaded it and she longed to go back, wanting to
see her knight in baggy red outfit. Her knight and lover with dors ars and long
silvery white hair. “What kind of man is he? He can not be human, not with
those ears… and he has fangs and claws to go with it. It almost like he was only
half human.” She sighed and moved back from the window and closed it.
“Does itter ter to me if he is not human?” The question was not very hard to
answer – it did not matter at all, her heart told her that she loved him, more
than anything in the world. She would not back down from him, no – she would not
be ashamed of her feelings for him. She would tell Kagome about it, and she
would not be ashamed of it, he had chosen her – he had chosen Ayumi, the little
naïve and bubbling girl over the hard studying and perfect Kagome. Ayumi sighed
again, she knew she should feel terrible about it, but after a weekend of hard
thinking and soul searching she had decided not to feel any guilt, she would not
let it take over her world. She was about to crawl into bed when she heard a
tapping sound on her window. She looked and got a real shock.

Outside sat a figure with
silver white hair…

She hurried and opened up
to let him inside.

At last, he whispered and jumped inside the room. He pulled
the stunned girl into his arms and crushed her small form against him

-         

H-how did you k-know where I l-lived? she stuttered but
returned the feverish hug.

-         

I have a very good sense of smell Ayumi-chan, whispered
Inuyasha and to emphasize his point he took a deep breath, inhaling her scent,
how he had missed it.

-         

 …?

-         

I followed your scent from school, and tonight I could smell
a breeze of honey in the air and I followed it. I needed to see you again.

Inuyasha lifted her up
and carried her towards the bed and sat down with her in his lap. He caressed
her face with his right hand, trying to gather some strength to tell her.

Ayumi-chan, I also wanted to see you so I could tell you who
I am, said Inuyasha.

-         

O-ok..

-         

You have probably already guessed that I am no ordinary
human..

She nodded and wiggled to
get a more comfortable position.

-         

Only half of me is human, the other half is that of a dog
demon, he said with a low and shaky voice.

-         

D-demon?

-         

And I don’t live around here at all…

-         

You live in another country?? Ayumi’s heart sank to the
bottom of her stomach.

-         

No, I live here in this country, just not yet…

-         

Huh?

“Fuck, this is going
to make her freak out if she has not already.”
He cursed and took a deep breathe.

-         

Inside the well house where I took you the first time.. The
well there is a portal to another time.

Ayumi’s eyes widened and
she shook her head lightly. She did not want to believe it but he had
disappeared without a trace that time..

-         

A time portal, she choked.

-         

Yes, Kagome fell into the well two years ago, and she has
helped me gather the shards of a certain jewel, a jewel with enormous powers.
That is why she has not been able to be in school so often.

-         

So she has not been ill at all?

-         

No, she hasn’t.

-         

Good, I was beginning to wonder if she was imagining all
those diseases her grandfather called to school about, said Ayumi and let out a
heavy sigh.

-         

I want you to come with me Ayumi.. I want you to come back
with me, he said and looked into her dark eyes and drowned inside their depths.

-         

What about Kagome? she whispered and felt tears well up
inside her eyes.

-         

What about her? Inuyasha was confused, what did Kagome have
to do with this?

-         

Is she not your girlfriend?

-         

WHAT??!!

-         

Shh, keep it down or you wake my parents..

-         

What!! No, she is not my mate, you are.

-         

M-mate?

-         

Yes, you are my mate, and I have marked you as such, said
Inuyasha and brushed the hair from her neck and revealed the bite mark. He felt
her shudder a bit as his fingers stroked over it lightly.

-       &nbnbspnbsp;

B-but I thought you and Kagome…

-         

No, she has a mate already, and it is not me. Her mate is a
wolf demon named Kouga, she have been his mate for little over a year now. She
is a good friend, that I admit, but she is nothing else.

Ayumi let out a small cry
and she flung around his neck. “He is not her boyfriend, she is not his
girlfriend..” Her body trembled as the relief washed over her and she buried
her face into his neck.

Ayumi-chan?

-         

I was so afraid, she whispered. So afraid that I was the one
who made you the two timing bastard she have spoken of in the past, I was so
afraid she would hate me for being intimate with you.

-         

Welcome to the Inuyasha Forest my love, he whispered and
pulled her in for a deep kiss.
