Kagome's unexpected love

Last Time: He kissed her again and almost sighed of relief as she started to become less tense and eventually wrap her arms around his neck as he licked her bottom lip asking for entrance. She moaned and he quickly slid his tongue in her mouth exploring it and licking the taste of honey and raspberries she was leaving on his tongue. He finally pulled away giving them both a well needed breath and she closed her eyes to speak.

“That was my first kiss” She blushed but then looked up seeing no Sesshoumaru and sighed.

Sesshoumaru had left for personal reasons and felt if he had stayed that he would have taken her as his mate right then and there. He sighed knowing that he wanted her as a mate but he didn't have the guts to tell her.

Kagome sat in the garden deep in thought about the kiss her and Sesshoumaru just had. “Why do I feel like I’m betraying Inuyasha he never kissed me that way… He didn‘t even say he cared..” Kagome started to walk around the garden and saw a pissed off Inuyasha running towards her so she made a mad dash for the door and slammed it just in time. She looked at the ground and saw the feet of the Lord youkai. ‘uh oh.’

Sesshoumaru glared at her knowing Inuyasha was behind the door since he had been watching Kagome through the window but he had decided to pester her. “Hiding something?… Like my half brother?”

Inuyasha chose that time to yell. “Kagome you bitch get out here now! We need to talk and don’t you go running to that bastard of my half brother! This is between you and me!”

Sesshoumaru jumped in front of Kagome and opened the door, Kagome standing behind him. “Is there something you want?… If not I suggest you leave immediately!”

“Sesshoumaru give me back Kagome her and I need to talk..”

“You will not talk to her Kagome is no longer you slave to do as you please”

Inuyasha growled “Kagome get you ass out here!” Sesshoumaru stood and protected Kagome.

“Kagome go up to your room and who ever comes for you shall be the one you stay with…” He watched Kagome nodded and walk to her quarters. “Now brother we shall have our duel and you will die so I can go back to Kagome”

“You’re the one who will die and I’ll go get Kagome.” Inuyasha growled.

Sesshoumaru drew Tokijin while Inuyasha drew Tentsiga. (A/N: Did I spell those right?) Sesshoumaru ran at Inuyasha slashing at his arm and drawing some blood on his sword from Inuyasha. Inuyasha quickly bounced back from Sesshoumaru’s attack and went straight for him slashing at all of his body but only making scratches. Sesshoumaru then lunged at Inuyasha quickly leaving no time for Inuyasha to react. He pushed his sword into Inuyasha’s heart and smirked as Inuyasha fell and lost his sword.

“Go back to your dead miko bitch and leave Kagome alone she is no longer a concern of yours.” Inuyasha stood up and quickly ran away afraid of losing Kagome after hearing Sesshoumaru’s words.

Sesshoumaru walked back inside and to Kagome’s quarters as she looked at him stunned. “Did you not think I would win to the half breed?” He looked aggravated.

“Yes Lord Sesshoumaru I knew you would win but what happened to Inuyasha?”

“I let him go but… next time he won’t be so lucky.”

Kagome sighs of relief but then tightens up at hearing his last words. “Lunch will be ready soon and I require your presence for now you a free to do as you please.” And with that said Sesshoumaru walked out of the quarters as Kagome followed him walking down the hall to find that his room wasn’t far from her and she found a library and sat down to read some books.

That was when she felt like she was being watched and when Sesshoumaru tapped her on the shoulder she threw the book in the air hitting his head. “I’m.. so sorry Lord Sesshoumaru…”

“It is ok..” He sighs. “You have a little kit you call your son don’t you?”

“Yes why?”

“I was thinking of letting him live here with us….”

“Really?… Please I’ll do anything as long as Shippo is here”

“Ok then it is settled.. I will have my men go get him and then you will do what ever I want that includes sleeping in my room.” He walked off.

Kagome was wide eyed and she wanted to scream. “Having Shippo here will mean that I have to sleep with Sesshoumaru.” She sighed knowing it was worth it to see her kit again. The rest of the day went by slowly with Kagome trying to stay away from Sesshoumaru which was pretty easy since Rin and Jakken had gotten back and Rin was doing her one million questions trick on Sesshoumaru.

Kagome slid into her bed liking the feel of the cool sheets against her body with her little white nightgown. She easily fell asleep thinking that seeing her kit would be only one day away. Sesshoumaru stood in her doorway and watched her as she slept happy for one of the few times in his life knowing soon enough that she would be his mate to do as he pleased to her.

Sorry to all of you fans of Inuyasha but there has to be something to make Kagome let go of him and focus on Sesshoumaru. To answer your questions yes Shippo will be coming in the next chapter. Also lemon will be coming soon so get ready for it. Remember the more reviews the faster I type and also always save your work so it doesn't get erased like mine did today! I worked on a this chapter to have it erased and have to write it all over again... So I hope you like it and sorry its so short but I haven't had time to write a long one!
