Chapter 3: Family Problems

“JII-CHAN,” Kagome yelled in shock at her granher.her. He is actually trying to banish us!? Kagome’s thoughts were interrupted when someone else spoke in her and InuYasha’s defense.

“Otou-san,” Mrs. Higurashi calmly addressed her father, “this is Kagome and her boyfriend!! Kagome has simply become a ha-hanho-hanyou, that’s it, Kagome and her boyfriend are both hanyou.”

Jii-chan’s response was one of complete shock. He knew what she meant by hanyou and boy friend, they were mates!! This male hanyou had turned is innocent granddaughter into a hanyou! He corrupted his little Kagome! That was when the male hanyou spoke up, “Listen you old hack, Kagome willingly became my mate! I did not force her!” Dragging out every word with his last sentence, the male hanyou let his words skink in.

“You may have become mates, but I will not approve of it. Mark my words: I will do everything in my power to separate you two and turn Kagome into a full human!” With that said, Jii-chan left to go to his room and pout about this situation.

Mrs. Higurashi decided that she needed time to think this over, especially Kagome’s coming problems with school. “Ok you two, I’m going into town for a while, I need some time to think about everything that is going on here. There is plenty of food in the kitchen, the bathroom is all cleaned incase either of you wish to wash up. I can’t think of anything else right now-OH!!! Souta! You will need to explain everything to him. I just hope he takes this better than Jii-chan did.” With that said Mrs. Higurashi began to gather what she would need. As she was heading to the door, Mrs. Higurashi remembered something, “Kagome? Did you take your pill yesterday?”

Kagome blushed before answering, “Yes, and I was going to take the one I need to for today.”

“Good,” with that said, Mrs. Higurashi went out the door.

InuYasha looked at Kagome with a very curious expression, “What pills bitch?!”

Kagome glared at him, “My birth control pills. They keep me from getting pregnant. I started taking them when I started high school. As for calling me a bitch, MY NAME IS KAGOME!!!”

InuYasha flattened his ears, her yelling hurt! “Hey, you are a bitch, a female dog, a female inu-youkai,” InuYasha retorted.

Kagome thought about InuYasha’s words, I am a literal bitch, a female dog. “In ime ime ‘bitch’ is a word that is used in derogatory fashions. That means it is used as an insult.”

InuYasha forgot about this, “Sorry, I thought it just meant female dog.” InuYasha looked down at her eyes and remembered the morning. Kissing her and pulling her tight to his body, InuYasha made sure she could smell and feel his growing desire.

Looking up at InuYasha after the kiss, Kagome realized what he wanted, “So, you want to have sex again? Well, I’m not going to deny you this time.” Grabbing his left ear and rubbing it, Kagome led InuYasha to her bed room. Once inside she closed and locked the door. There were so many pills that she used to help cure various illnesses before he used the wish. That was when he remembered her mother’s question: ‘Did you take your pill yesterday?’ Then he realized what that pill was, her birth control pill.

“Ok InuYasha, time to show you what I can do,” Kagome said with a seductive voice and smile.

InuYasha’s body got a shiver from excitement at the possibilities. “What are you going to do to me Kagome,” he asked with slight fear.

Kagome is still taking her pills; physically she is ready to have kids, but not emotionally or psychologically. Now, what are we to do about school with the way her body has changed? Oh this is a problem indeed.

I wonder if there is a way that she can make her youkai side become hidden, Kagome did say that InuYasha was able too suppress his human half, why not the other way around? That would help when it came to Kagome being able to go to school, but didn’t Kagome also say that InuYasha was in heat right now? Oh, what am I to do. I think Kagome will be willing to leave InuYasha’s side for several hours, but InuYasha won’t be able to leave her alone.

Ok, I have to think of something to tell the school while InuYasha is in heat. Knowing animals that go through such a phase, this will be for a while. Could be for a few days, a week, or even a month! This is too much for me to think about right now. I need to eat something.

With the thought of food, Mrs. Higurashi’s stomach decided to agree with her. Pulling into the parking lot of a small restaurant, Mrs. Higurashi went in for an hour to have lunch so that she could be fully energized in order to figure out what to do with Kagome and her new ‘mate’. After the food was eaten and the bill paid for, Mrs. Higurashi decided it was time to go home. Driving home would take a while, that gave her time to ponder this situation more. Thinking back, Mrs. Higurashi remembered exactly why Kagome started taking ‘the pill’.

“Mother, I need to ask you something,” Kagome said in an uneasy voice.

Mrs. Higurashi looked up from the dishes she was cleaning, now that dinner was over, to respond, “Yes Kagome?”

“Well, I start high school soon, and I was wondering, could I start using the pill?”

This question came as a shock to the older woman. Why would she want to start taking the pill? She can have already-, ending that train of thought, Mrs. Higurashi asked quickly with concern, “You didn’t have sex did you?!”

“MOTHER! No, I did not, not yet at least,” was Kagome’s response, she knew something was coming. It was instinct, she knew she would be having sex soon, but did not know when.

Mrs. Higurashi noted the ‘yet’ and the serious look on her daughter’s face. What could be causing her to want to take the pill, Mrs. Higurashi thought. “Dear, do you have a boyfriend or something, or do you just want to have sex? Be honest.”

Kagome looked uneasy before she gave a shaky answer, “I don’t have a boyfriend and none of my girlfriends are pressuring me or anything. Also, none of the guys I have met so far have been worth more than a few words, I can’t stand some of them! The problem is my instincts. You know that they have been right when it comes to major things. I just get this feeling that when I meet the guy of my dreams that neither of us will be able to keep our hands off of each other.”

Mrs. Higurashi knew about her daughter's instincts, they were what got her to practice martial art forms, archery and basic, yet strenuous forms of exercise. All of that physical activity helped her in several ways: physical health, confidence, concentration at school, happiness and more. Kagome had a point, her instincts were right about major aspects of her own life. Sex was another major aspect.

Mrs. Higurashi looked her daughter strait in the eye, Kag Kagome, we will go to the doctor next week to get you the prescription for the pill. But, I am going to give you a fair warning: if I find out that you have been sleeping around with several different guys in a month, you will not like my punishments!” That ended the discussion.

Mrs. Higurashi pulled into the driveway that she got down on the street. Walking up the stairs to the house her family lived in, Mrs. Higurashi realized something, her daughter’s instincts about hex lix life were correct. Shaking her head, Mrs. Higurashi opened the house door and walked in.

She saw Souta watching TV like he always did after school, yet before dinner. Looking into the dining room, Mrs. Higurashi noticed Jii-chan deep in thought with a very nasty scowl on his face. Deciding to let Souta enjoy him self, Mrs. Higurashi walked over to her father and sat down across the table from him. “Otou-san, what is the matter,” Mrs. Higurashi asked.

Jii-chan looked up at his own daughter and spoke while keeping the same scowl, “From 10 till 3, I heard nothing but moans, bangs, and howls and more from Kagome’s room. They were at it again. I do not like this one bit! I searched for a way to break their mating bond, make Kagome a human and banish that incubus of a youkai for good, BUT I FOUND NONE! If I tried to kill him, she would kill me. That was all I found. They can’t be separated.”

“Otou-san, just accept it. They are in love, as unlikely as it sounds, they just met each other. But from what you just told me, they won’t be coming out of that room any time soon,” Mrs. Higurashi told her father in a soothing tone.

Looking at her daughter, Jii-chan knew something was up; he wanted to know, now! “What do you mean?” This question was calm, deliberate and gave the indication that Jii-chan wanted a full, un-edited explanation.

Mrs. Higurashi did not expect that question or the tone, but decided to answer, “When they both came in and explained everything to me, Kagome said that InuYasha was in heat when they mated. I didn’t think that it would have been just for one day. My conclusion is that he will be like that for a few days to a month. During that time they will be inseparable. I think what you heard was just the beginning. The only way that we can make this more bearable for us is for us not to hear them.”

Jii-chan looked shocked; they would be having non-stop sex all week! He had stumbled across youkai mating text. The text stated that they mating was almost exclusively done when one or both youkai was at the beginning of a heat cycle. Youkai heat cycles also lasted for only a week. They had tonight plus another 5 days before InuYasha and Kagome would stop. Jii-chan knew there was no way to stop them, but he could help his grandson, daughter and himself, “Daughter, I have sutras that will make it so that we will not be able to hear what goes on in that room. I’ll go put them up now.” With that said, Jii-chan left to go put up these sutras. They were in luck how ever, of all his sutras, the sound ones were the ones he could actually cast correctly.

InuYasha awoke to the feeling of Kagome slee sou soundly on top of him, still impaled on his member. Looking at Kagome’s peaceful face, InuYasha noted that she had changed some more, she was a few inches taller; Kagome was now just an inch shorter than him. Looking at her own cloths, Kyoto guess that the ones she had found would have been just as form fitting. Kyoto was dressed in a blue skirt, a vertical slit on each side that went up to the waist while the hem ended an inch above mid thy. Kyoto’s shirt was very form fitting, the sleeves went from shoulder to wrist, but the sleeves only connected to the shirt at the arm pit area. Then there was the fact that the lower hem ended just above her navel. The shirt even had a small collar that was just a centimeter and a half tall. Kyoto’s complete out fit was blue with purple lining.

Looking at her weapon that was a cross between a staff and a spear, Kyoto’s Naginata was a gift she loved, cherished and mastered. The wooden shaft was 5 feet long with the lower foot curved. The blade was both unique and unusual, being 8 inches long with the top half curving a total of 45º. This curve gave the double edged blade to great cutting sides; curved away, the blade was deal for slicing flesh; curved toward, the blade could chop through hard materials like bone, wood and metal with ease. But all that paled in comparison to what the blade was made of: one of her father’s fangs. Forged by Totosai, just like the Tetsusaiga and Tensaiga and given the ability to use the Wind Scar like the Tetsusaiga.

Finished with examining the area, Kyoto decided to find her brother InuYasha and his new mate. Following both scents to a well, Kyoto jumped in without thinking. Touching down, Kyoto looked around; she thought that the well would find some kind of passage. But remembering the fall, Kyoto realized the well was enchanted. Looking up, Kyoto saw that a building was built to protect the well.

Jumping up and out of the well, Kyoto followed her brother’s scent out of the small shrine and to the front door of a house. Before doing anything, Kyoto looked around, she was in a different world, What kind of world is this, mother described some of these things. She said they came from several hundred years in the future. The well might be a portal through time. At least it is night out right now.

Knocking on the door, Kyoto waited for someone to answer it. What she got was a surprise, a hanyou female and male. They were both wrapped up in a blanket and smelled of sex. In fact, the smell of sex was so great, Kyoto was barely able to detect that they were the ones at the tree; her brother InuYasha and his mate. The female took a sniff of her before her face softened and she asked Kyoto a question, “Are you related to InuYasha here?” Kagome gestured to her mate when she mentioned him.

InuYasha took a sniff of Kyoto before asking his own question, “Who are you?”

Kyoto looked at both, relaxed her weapon and body while smiling. “My name is Kyoto. I have been looking for you InuYasha, you are my half brother.”
