Cursed Love

Kagome said goodbye to her friends at Kaede's village before she headed off to the bone eaters well to go back to her own time. She promised to be back in three days. She had wished she could say goodbye to Inuyasha temperarily, she hasn't seen him in a day and a half at least.

As Kagome made her way to the well she noticed someone standing over it looking into the well. She hid behind a tree and listened to what the man said. "I know, I am in your debt and I know what you desire. I shall give that too you. But first I need..."
Kagome watched carefully as an arm of a demon rose up from the well gripping a vile. The man laughed as he took the vile from the hand in the well. "Excellent I'll give you what you desire a sacrife." he said with a cackle.
The man stopped his laugh as he heard the creature in the well speak to him. "Yes of course, if you insist I'll start right away."
The man then turned towards the tree Kagome was hiding behind. " You're the priestess with the shikon jewel shards are you not?" the man called out to her.
Kagome then figured her cover was blown as she walked in front of the tree to face the man. "My...my...my... you certainly don't look like any priestess I've ever seen."
"Who are you? And what are you doing here?"
"My name is Ichijo and I was just talking with my employer."
"You're convulsing with demons? Are they trying to coax you into getting at the shikon shards?" Kagome said reaching for her bow and arrows just in case.
"Perhaps, but my interest lies elsewhere you and I are not so different."
"Don't try flattering yourself like that! I am nothing like you." Kagome said postioning her arrow before letting it fly right square in his chest.
Ichijo gave a small gasp. "Now that wasn't very nice. Thank you for killing me but let me return the favor."
Kagura had seen enough she decided to head back to Naraku and report. "Is he toying with Naraku?" Kagura said to herself "Just who was he talking to down in that well?"
Ichijo opened the vile and dropped some of the liquid on the ground. A white fiery light came towards Kagome before Kagome could react it hit her dead on. She fell back landing hard on her back on the ground her clothes burned, Ichijo walked over to her and grabbed for the shards. He then grabbed her by her collar. "Here as promised a temperarily sacrifice unitl I get at that widow." He then tossed the girl down the well. He gave a smug grin as he left the well.

Later that night Ren laid down in bed with both his mates, he felt uncomfortable about being in the middle all the time. He closed his eyes and went to sleep, as he began to dream he found himself in a field as he sat up he spotted Hiroshi.
Hiroshi signaled him to come forward. Ren wasn't sure about all this since he knew that Hirsoshi was dead. Nevertheless Ren followed Hiroshi through the field. Hiroshi lead Ren out of the field and into the garden near a large stream. He spotted his mother standing calmly in the garden. His mother smiled when she saw him as she handed him a rose. "My boy look how you've grown, and with child what a shame I can't see my first born grandchild."
"Mother."
"Come let us relax down by the stream. Remember the hot summers where we'd have picnics by this very stream?"
"Yes."
His mother walked into the stream. "Come in Ren the water is wonderful."
"I can't swim. You've never taught me to swim."
"You're right I haven't well come here Ren I'll give you a swimming leson." She said holding out her hand to him.
Ren wasn't sure about all this, he knew he was dreaming so how could this work once he woke up? Would he really know how to swim? He turned to where Hiroshi for advice like he use too.
He noticved that Hiroshi was fighting with himself as it were. He saw Hiroshi nod giving him the go ahead. Ren let out a sigh knowing that he would be fine since Hiroshi was still looking after him even from beyond the grave. Ren walked calmly in the cool water and joined his mother,all of a sudden the water was deeper then his mother made it look. She bit her lower lip for a moment before a smug grin came across her face.
As Ren attempted to keep his head above the water he heard laughter thoughout the garden. He began to panic as he recognize the voice of the laughter of none other then Ichijo.
