Sango tells the
story"¦.

I still can remember the
day I woke up from my death. Or I thought I was dead. My beloved mate cried that
day, he cried of happiness after I spoke. Then I heard a thump and I looked
around and saw Kagome fall to the ground, she had fainted. Inuyasha came into
view and picked up my little sister. He looked very confused, surprised, happy,
angry, all the things you can imagine. He got it all in one face. That silly
little puppy, he is the only one who can do those faces. Anyway"¦ I was still a
bit out but D was not so he picked me up and when Kagome came around she
demanded to know everything. But I am not sure that she believed my story, our
story. I still am not sure if she believes the whole story about how I got a
vampiric husband and turned into a dunpeal myself. And poor houshi-sama, he was
devastated. During our travels it was often thought that I would end up being
the wife of a perverted monk. Kagome told me that Miroku had been totally out of
it after the Final Battle. And then I came back from the dead with a mate and a
child inside my womb. Poor Miroku, he had trouble believing me when I told him
my story.

Actually when I told my
friends that I was pregnant, they did not believe me. How could I know that I
was carrying if I only had been away two days? But thankfully, the silly little
puppy came to my rescue, telling the others that I spoke the truth. I was
pregnant and it was more than two days old.

What really confused me
was how D managed to befriend Inuyasha. D was a loner; Inuyasha was suspicious
towards any newcomers. But still, both became very good friends. Perhaps it was
because they had two kinds of blood inside their veins, both had been scorned
for being half breeds. Inuyasha even took the initiative to build us a house,
not far from old lady Kaede.

And my loyal friend,
Kirara, the fire cat demon, she sniffed me, she sniffed D and then she smiled
and cuddled up in D's lap. She liked him, she accepted him as a part of her
family. And if Kirara accepted someone, so did Shippou, the little fox demon. He
told me in a child's grown up way that he was happy that I had found a very
special someone to share my life with. He is too cute you know. I gave him a big
warm hug for that.

My pregnancy went faster
than the normally human pregnancy. Inuyasha with his good nose told me that I
probably was going to give birth within six month after the Final Battle.
Kagome, she refused to believe that I was pregnant, until I was beginning to
show a small bump onstomstomach. Then she went overboard. When she came back to
visit us she always brought clothes for the baby. How could you not love that
girl? Always so caring and giving, and she is my sister.

Six and a half month
after the Final Battle it was time. I probably would have been killed by several
women who had given birth before, if I told them that my daughter was a pure
pleasure to bring out into the world. It was hardly any pain at all and it went
fast. From the moment my water broke to the moment where I held my little girl
inside my arms, it was not more than a few hours. D was with me the whole time,
whispering words of strength and love into my ear. Perhaps it was he who made it
so painless? I can not tell for sure, but I do now that we had created a
beautiful little girl. On the top of her head she had mass of black hair; her
eyes were green with dark yellow specks. I named her Takara, treasure, because
she was our treasure and D smiled and nodded, it was a good name for our
daughter.

D asked me once, a few
hundreds year after our meeting if I am still was his and I smiled.
