A Royal Pain

Kagome could not believe the wardrobe that she was given as the maids pulled out a light pink and gold stitched kimono for her to wear. It was made of pure silk and was much more formal than the one that she received from Lord Takeda.

As the maids helped her put it on Kagome noticed that they seemed to be rather displeased to be dressing a human. Kagome now understood what Inuyasha had to suffer since she would have to suffer the harsh looks and possibly the harsh words of those demons who would have to put up with a human in their midst.

The maids then made her sit at the vanity as they took out brushes and combs along with multitudes of jewel encrusted hair pins and strings of pearls connected to mother of pearl combs that would be worn in her hair.

Pulling out the combs and beads that were currently in her hair, the maids went to work combing and putting oils into her hair to make it shine. Than the maids French braided her long hair before putting in the pins and the hair combs.

Kagome then was to choose from a large variety of jewel encrusted slippers. Picking the white ones with the pearls and diamonds on the toes the maids put these on her feet to see if they fit properly, which luckily they did.

After the maids finished they all bowed and left the room.

When Kagome came out of the room she saw Sango who was dressed similar to how Kagome was except her hair had several small braids with ribbons in it while the rest of her hair flowed about her.

“Kagome you look beautiful.”

Sango stated and Kagome had to say the same about her friend.

“Sango you really do look like a princess.”

Miroku came out of his and Sango’s room looking splendid in a dark purple silk kimono that seemed to bring out his violet eyes.

“You look like a Prince Miroku.”

Kagome stated.

Miroku smirked.

“Well, we better head to the dining area where Lord Sesshoumaru’s Mother is awaiting us.”

Banzan greeted the three humans as he came down the hall to fetch them since Lady Luna was rather impatient.

Bowing Banzan escorted the three humans to the dining hall.

Kagome was surprised to see so much food at the table. It was a banquet of different kinds of meats, pastries, fruits, vegetables, and rice.

Banzan ushered Kagome towards the head of the table where she sat to Lady Luna’s right while Rin sat to the left. Sango and Miroku were placed next to Rin.

“So, none of you know why you are here other than my son ordered it to be so. I do understand why you are here Kagome, but it does not make sense to bring a demon slayer and a monk into a castle full of demons. I certainly hope that you will not bring trouble with you.”

Luna stated as she ordered the servant behind her to bring her a plate of the raw meat and one of the small pastries.

“We are not here to cause trouble my Lady. Sango and I in truth hope that we will not be here long since our village is being rebuilt.”

Luna sighed.

“I do not understand my son some days, but it seems that you must have some sort of value to him otherwise you would not be here. I doubt he will just let you leave of your own accord.”

Rin pretty much ignored the conversation and waited for the servant to bring her food to her. Of course since Rin had been there before, the servant knew what the child most likely would eat as a plate was set before her.

Soon Kagome was asked about what she wanted. She was kind of afraid to eat since she didn’t want to get anything on her clothing. The servant politely explained the different dishes that were set out before her. Eel was definitely a no, but there were steamed vegetables, some kind of fish, sushi, and what seemed to be some kind of spice cake. She figured she would try a little bit of everything except for the uncooked meat.

Sango and Miroku both did the same as Kagome except when Kagome’s plate was brought to her it was more food than that of her friends.

“Banzan are you going to join us or stand there all night.”

Lady Luna stated to the young man who was in charge of these humans until Lord Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha returned to the castle.

“My Lady, I do not think it is right for me…………..”

Luna cut him off.

“I order you to eat since there is too much food here to let it all go to waste. Now where is that little kappa demon? Why is he not here?”

Banzan sat by Kagome and ordered himself a plate of food. It was rare when a mere servant was allowed at the royal table, but Lady Luna had been bored out of her mind with no suitable company. He would please the Lady of the Manor by submitting to her whims.

“My Lady, Jaken is attending to Ah-Un and will be arriving shortly.”

Luna huffed.

“Well I certainly will not put up with his tardiness. He knew what time dinner was served so as far as I am concerned the little demon can just eat in the kitchen with the rest of the servants.”

Luna in some ways was relieved since the kappa grated on her nerves. Why her son would pick up such an annoying creature as a vassal was very frivolous of Sesshoumaru. Her son was probably as bored as she was with the hum drums of life itself. Living for so long made demons do some rather outrageous things like taking in orphaned human girls.

“So you are the Shikon miko. How did this come about?”

Kagome explained to Luna about the jewel that she had been born with and that she was the reincarnation of the priestesses before her leaving out the information that she was from the future.

“Your lineage goes back to Midoriko. It is strange to have a monk, a priestess, and a demon slayer all in one group at this castle. How did you all come to meet my son?”

Miroku took over from there explaining how they were all connected to the jewel of four souls and about Naraku who possessed the jewel leaving out the many times Sesshoumaru tried to kill his brother and threatened his pack. He also left out the good deeds that Sesshoumaru had done since this most likely would be considered a possible insult to Sesshoumaru.

“It seems my son and the young hanyou had much more in common than I would have expected. This young half demon, what do you know of him?”

Kagome wanted to explain Inuyasha, but Miroku took over that conversation as well. Sango gave her a look that meant to let it be since it was indeed best for Miroku to explain Inuyasha.

“So this head strong pup is ill mannered and crude. It does not seem like the kind of young man that my Sesshoumaru would find attractive. However there is a saying that opposites attract. Perhaps that is why Sesshoumaru chose to mate him.”

Of course Rin piped up and said that Inuyasha was a brave warrior who was saved by Sesshoumaru on occasion.

“Rin, your idolism of my son is amusing, but one must remember that when at the table do not speak unless you are spoken to.”

Rin bowed her head.

“Yes my Lady.”

Kagome then started to eat when she realized Luna was looking at her.

“My dear are you pregnant? You smell of it.”

Kagome blushed.

“I do not know if I am or not. I was only with Inuyasha one time.”

Luna huffed again.

“It only takes one time child. Do not fret; we have an excellent healer here at the castle that can help us determine your status. You do know however my son will not allow a quarter born to live. A hanyou maybe, but a quarter breed demon is dangerous to themselves and others or so I have been told. Perhaps there is a way to remedy this, but you will first need to find out your status.”

Kagome turned white. If she was pregnant she wanted to keep the baby no matter what it was since it was hers and Inuyasha. It didn’t even matter if it ended up like Jenenji who was not attractive outside, but had a heart of gold making him beautiful to the people who knew him best.

Sango tried to keep her temper about this since it was obvious that these demons had never dealt with a quarter breed demon. She had indeed confronted one of them in her lifetime. They remained mostly human and only had one night that they were demon. It was a difficult life, but not so difficult that one could not be born into the world. These prejudice demons had better not force Kagome to lose her child if she was indeed pregnant. Sango would defy Sesshoumaru and take Kagome back to the village with her to live.

Of course most of Kagome’s problems were due to Inuyasha’s ignorance. Miroku would make sure their hanyou friend got an earful even if he had to beat him down with his staff.

“Well, everyone do eat up since we do not want to have cold food.”

Luna looked at Kagome who slid her plate aside.

“I suddenly feel ill.”

Luna patted her hand.

“You must eat if not for yourself for the child that you may be carrying. It is not my law that we are discussing, it is that of Sesshoumaru’s Father. It of course could be amended since yours is a special case, but I would not hold my breath since my son is quite cold with no sense of humor in any situation. Believe me I have tried to lighten up my brat of a son, but he just never listens to his Mother anymore.”

Kagome sighed trying her best to keep from breaking down into tears. Sesshoumaru’s Mother was right. If she was indeed pregnant she needed to think about the child in her womb.

Miroku and Sango ate quietly both of them thinking the same thing. If Inuyasha did not fight for his child’s life they would take Kagome away and help her raise the child on her own.

Inuyasha and Koga were both glad that Ginta and Hakkaku were doing well. The two brothers of course followed Koga back to his camp as Inuyasha headed for his tent, but not without grabbing a chunk of glazed boar leg eating it on the way there. He couldn’t believe he was still hungry, but he knew he would burn it all off when they got back to the castle since Inuyasha would insist on doing some training with Sesshoumaru.

When Inuyasha got into the tent he was pulled into a deep searing kiss. Sesshoumaru than licked his lips since Inuyasha’s face was covered in meat juices.

“I cannot believe you are still eating Inuyasha. Where in the seven hells are you putting all of it?”

Sesshoumaru stated as he licked Inuyasha’s face clean.

“I can’t help it Sess, I have never had a time where I didn’t have to forage something on my own just to survive. Now that we are here I get free delicious food I don’t have to hunt down myself and I just can’t get enough of it.”

Sesshoumaru noticed that all that was left of the boar leg was a well cleaned bone.

“Let me have the bone Inuyasha. I will show you a quick way to get all that meat unstuck from your teeth.”

Inuyasha handed the bone to Sesshoumaru who proceeded to chip off some slivers with his claws.

“These little shards of bone will help you pick your teeth.”

Inuyasha pulled something out of his pocket.

“I got something for that. Kagome calls this thing a tooth brush. I ran out of the paste that came with it, but I can still use this.”

Sesshoumaru grabbed the tooth brush out of Inuyasha’s hand and smelled it.

“What is this made of? Is this one of those things she brought from the future?”

Inuyasha grasped it back.

“Yes it is.”

Sesshoumaru cocked his head to the side as he looked at it.

“Perhaps we can make a replica of this tooth brush thing. I would like to have one.”

Inuyasha smiled at his mate and still took some of the bone shards so that he could clean his teeth with them since the tooth brush was only to be used at bedtime and morning.

“So why did you want me in the tent so fast? I was kind of having a good time talking to Koga, Ginta, and Hakkaku.”

Sesshoumaru smiled.

“I wanted you here because I have some things from the tribes that were for you and I as mating gifts. I also wish to make love to you again.”

Inuyasha huffed.

“So mainly I am here because you want sex not that I mind or anything.”

Sesshoumaru started to get undressed as he was in the mood and really wanted nothing more than to wrap his mate in his arms and never let him go.

It was going to be a long trip back to the castle and Sesshoumaru knew that once they returned Inuyasha most likely would be sharing his bed with his wife although Sesshoumaru would offer both of them to remain in his bedroom since he knew it would be difficult to sleep without Inuyasha next to him. For now, Sesshoumaru wanted to enjoy these moments alone with his Inuyasha before they went home.

Inuyasha started to remove his clothing only to have a gentle hand stop him only to have the hands of his lover slide into his clothing removing his armor with swift precession.

Soon Inuyasha heard the clunk of his armor as it fell off of him along with his haori and soon his hakumas fell to the ground leaving him bare except for the fundoshi which Sesshoumaru soon removed from Inuyasha’s beautiful body.

“You are so fine to look upon my mate.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he pulled Inuyasha into a long lingering kiss.

Using his tongue to part Inuyasha’s lips, Sesshoumaru soon plunged into that sweet abyss while running his fingers over Inuyasha’s back leaving small scratches with his deadly claws.

Inuyasha gripped his mate as Sesshoumaru lifted him over to the bed and laid him down amongst the furs.

Sesshoumaru’s lips left soft warm kisses all over Inuyasha’s neck and chest until he reached a pert nipple and suckled it making Inuyasha arch up for more. Sesshoumaru gladly obliged him by favoring the other nipple as he had done the first.

Than Sesshoumaru moved downwards towards Inuyasha’s slim hips going around his aching member to slide his tongue along the seams of his inner thighs.

As Sesshoumaru pushed Inuyasha’s hips down he continued his onslaught of pleasure licking the seam in between Inuyasha’s tight anus and balls causing Inuyasha to grasp the furs around them.

Sesshoumaru loved the scent of Inuyasha’s arousal as he continued to torment his little lover with that wicked tongue of his.

After what seemed like an eternity of delicious torment, Inuyasha was soon spread open as Sesshoumaru grabbed the new bottle of oil he had acquired from the otters to slick his hard shaft in preparation to take Inuyasha to new heights of passion.

There was no need to prepare Inuyasha any further as he slid deep within Inuyasha’s bowels causing Inuyasha to moan with want.

Sesshoumaru allowed Inuyasha to adjust to his girth once again before he started to plunge forward.

Inuyasha writhed on the furs as Sesshoumaru increased the speed of his thrusts.

The two brothers fell into the oblivion of pleasure as their release rocked them to the core.
