Gods to the rescue

Benten bowed her head and sent a message to Aizen and Gekka she needed them with her now. It was not looking good for Sesshoumaru and Kagome and she was going to need help. With a wave of her hand she stopped all the movement in the clearing. Aizen and Gekka appeared before her.

Aizen heard Benten's urgent message and arrived at the edge of the clearing. He looked past her and saw what was so urgent. The stupid hanyou tried to destroy his brother and now Kagome was in trouble. He knew Sesshoumaru wouldn't move. He would stay and try to act as a barrier for Kagome but it wouldn't work. "What can we do?" He saw Gekka appear on the other side of Benten.

Gekka appeared and took in the scene. That hanyou had really done it this time. "Aizen will take Sesshoumaru and I will take Kagome. We need Emma-O to help with this." He closes his eyes and calls for Emma-O. It took a second for him to appear. "Hey Em would you like to help us for a little while?"

Emma-O looked at the other gods and Goddess before him then he looked at the scene in the clearing. Apparently he was needed for it was obvious that the two in front of the streaks of flame were soon to die. "You know I am not usually called until they die. Did you want me to take them early to stop the suffering they are bound to go through from that attack?"

Gekka looked at Emma-O and smiled "No I had other plans for you. I would like for you to take the other one. The one in red to your home and secure him. But be warned he can't be separated from his sword. It controls his demon blood and with out it he could do great damage. Can you do this for us?"

"How long must he stay?" Emma-O didn't like the idea but he had his orders.

"Just until we get to talk to him. Shouldn't be too long." Gekka smiled and Emma-O smiled back.

"This should be fun. Its not everyday that someone living gets to go to the underworld." Em rubbed his hands together in glee. "So what are we doing?"

Aizen stepped forward "I will transport Sesshoumaru and Gekka will transport Kagome when Benten unfreezes the clearing. When she does that you are to take Inuyasha. That will save our two and you will have yours until we come to talk to him. Hopefully we can talk some sense into him. You are to do him no harm but I would advise chains if you have them. He is no ordinary hanyou. His adventures with he miko and the others have made him quiet strong."

"I handle better than him everyday. I will be able to handle him." Emma-O turned to the clearing to study the hanyou.

"Do not under estimate him Em. For he is not one to take lightly." Benten looked at the gods by her side. "Now if you don't mind my arm is getting tired and I would like to unfreeze the clearing."

The three gods nodded to her and waited for her to release the clearing from her magic. As she lowered her hand the action in the field began once again. But three people were missing from it now.

Kagome heard Inuyasha shout and looked around Sesshoumaru and gasped. She saw the wind scar headed for them. She could hear her friends holler at her to move but she seemed frozen. She couldn't make herself move. Why would he use the wind scar against her. Had he totally lost his mind.

Sesshoumaru heard his brother shout and turned his head to see him unleash the wind scar on him and Kagome. Did the fool forget she was there? He knew she wouldn't have time to escape before the blast hit them. He would use his body as a shield to protect her. He drew Tensaiga and pulled Kagome to his side. Maybe the sword would save them. It had saved him from his brothers attack once before. He just hoped that it saved both of them.

Inuyasha heard his friends shouts and saw the fire leaping closer to Kagome.
He hadn't meant to harm her just his brother. But he had been so jealous that he wasn't thinking straight. As he watched the flames licked at Sesshoumaru and Kagome. He saw a bright light but couldn't tell where it was coming from. He tried to look around but he couldn't see anything then all of the sudden everything went black.

Miroku saw Inuyasha swing Tetsusaiga and the wind scar heading to Kagome and Sesshoumaru. There was nothing he could do to stop the flames from reaching them. His wind tunnel wouldn't work on the wind scar. He had never felt so helpless before. He saw something starting to run by him and saw Shippou running for Kagome. He grabbed him by his tail and stopped him. He for one didn't want to be haunted by Kagome if he let something happen to Shippou.

Sango watched Miroku stop Shippou and turned to jump on Kirara. Maybe just maybe she would be fast enough to reach Kagome and save her. She had almost reached them when the field was lit up with bright lights. She turned her head to protect her eyes. When she looked back Sesshoumaru and Kagome were gone. The only thing left where they had been standing was the flames of the wind scar. He had killed her sister. Nothing was going to protect him from her wrath. She turned to find Inuyasha he was no were in sight. So he couldn't face us after he killed Kagome. The coward, she would hunt him down and revenge Kagome's death. She would find him no matter where he went.

Shippou saw his mother being attacked by Inuyasha. Why would he attack his okaa-san. She didn't do nothing to him. Well besides choose his brother. But if he were Kagome and had to choose between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru he would choose the lord over the hanyou. That would be the smart choice and Kagome was smart. I won't let him hurt okaa-san. He ran at Inuyasha but was pulled back by Miroku grabbing his tail. "Let me go monk I won't let him hurt Kagome." He stopped struggling when the field was lit up with bright lights. Was this a new attack of the Tetsusaiga that no one knew about. The lights grew brighter and he had to close his eyes. When he opened them again the field in front of him was empty. No Kagome, No Sesshoumaru, and no Inuyasha. "What happened to them?"

Sango landed Kirara and ran up to Miroku and Shippou. "He killed my sister. Just because he couldn't handle his jealousy he killed Kagome. Then the bastard ran off before I could get my hands on him. I will hunt him down and take revenge for Kagome." Sango fell to the ground crying.

Kirara watched Sango get off her and shout about the hanyou. Then she saw her collapse on the ground. She changed into her smaller form and climbed onto Sango's lap "Mew" I will rub her face with my nose that always makes her feel better. She felt Sango gather her up in her arms and hug her too her chest tight. Ok maybe this wasn't a good idea. I can't breath. "MEW" Uhhh at least she released me a little. This is much better.

Miroku watched Sango fall on the ground in front of him and kneeled down and took her into his arms. Making sure not to hurt Kirara. He rubbed her back. No hand keep away from there. I can't do that to Sango when she is this upset. I will restrain my self. But think on the bright side at least she is letting him hold her.
So he just held her. He stiffened he felt a great presence getting closer to them. He would not let the demon harm Sango, Shippou or Kirara. "Sango I know you enjoy being in my arms as much as I like having you in them but we are about to get company."

Sango let Miroku pull her into his arms. I swear if the monk tries to grope me at a time like this his life is mine. She was shocked when his hands stayed on her back and didn't travel lower. Then she heard what the Houshi said. The nerve of the man. She pushed herself away from him and jumped up. She grabbed her boomerang and stood by the monks side. She saw Kirara grow into the large fire cat and Shippou jumped on her back. She hoped it was a big strong demon coming their way. She needed to release some anger and what better way than beating up an evil demon. She faced the forest and saw trees falling. What ever was headed their way was going to be big all right. The trees at the edge of the clearing shattered as the demon hit them. Their were two of them and the larger ones eyes were red. It didn't look good for them. A demon in their true form with reddened eyes were very angry. And this one was way beyond that by the sound it was making. They were in so much trouble. The demons started for them.
