Chapter Twenty Six


Kagome looked out over the balcony. The soldiers trained diligently below her. They were highly skilled, the greatest soldiers in all of Japan. Yet even they could never hope to be equal to the demon lord who trained among them. A pair of strong arms wrapped around her middle and she let herself be pulled back against a hard, muscled chest. "Inuyasha."

He pressed a kissed to her ear and let his eyes rove over the courtyard. "Enjoyin the view?" he asked gruffly. She nodded beneath his chin and he smiled. "All those sweaty men." She told him. He hmpfed, "I can show you a sweaty man anytime." She chuckled at his words and then her eyes rose to the sky. The day was fading, the sky tinged with the peaches and gold of Kami's airbrush. "So I will live forever." She whispered.

Her own new immortality was still a strange feeling to her. "Well, not forever forever." Inuyasha reminded her, "When me and him go… well so do you. But that ain't happening for a very long time. At least a thousand years." She sighed… a thousand years.

A thousand years to be young as she was now. A thousand years of loving them and bearing children. Children! Kami! She could people Japan with these two! "Inuyasha," she said haltingly, and he nuzzled her, "Just how many children are we going to have?"

Inuyasha thought about it a moment, "Hmm, dunno. Why do you ask?" Kagome shrugged, "I just was curious, I mean I don't want to spend a thousand years always carrying children and changing diapers." She told him. He thought on that, and nodded. "Well, Sessh and I are pretty selfish. We give you too many pups and there won't be time for us." He teased, "We have heirs and don't need a whole brood of offspring. Maybe two or three more between us. More is fine of course, but that would be enough. We can choose now, when we want to create life. Without the conscious decision it's not gonna happen."

She pondered on his words. Well that was a relief. She was kinda happy as they were. Two beautiful children were keeping her hands full at the moment. She closed her eyes enjoying the soothing breeze and the warmth from Inuyasha's body.

She felt a slight tug and then he moved away from her. She opened her eyes to peer over her shoulder at him. "Come on." He said with that playful grin that she saw often now. With a little smile of her own, she followed him. She had a pretty good idea what he had in mind.

She had followed him to the parapet, up the high steps to look over the domain of the west. He came here often, the view and solitude comforting to him. "Inuyasha," she asked stepping out into the sunlight, "What are we doing up here?"

He turned a most feral smile on her, "Come over here Kagome. Look." She obeyed moving to the waist high wall, there below was the training she had been watching. She braced her hands on the wall and stood on her tip toes to look over. It was then that she felt his hands on her hips and she merely waited.
His hands pulled the silk up her body so that his palms rested on bare flesh. "You got a nice ass Kagome." He murmured as he pressed a kiss to the side of her neck. She let her head fall to the side to give him better access. His mouth a hot blend of silky lips and velvet tongue, pearl fangs. She moaned as he closed his teeth over the tendon of her neck and she arched against him.
One hand slid to caress her thigh, while the other plunged into the V of her robe, palming a breast. Her scent spiked and Inuyasha growled in response. Kagome repositioned her legs, parting them enough to allow him entrance. She cried out when his thumb pressed the bundle of nerves at the apex of her thighs. Liquid heat pooled in her lower body and he felt it against his fingers.

A dark chuckle fluttered against her ear, "Some one is hot for Inuyasha." She closed her eyes, let her head fall back against his shoulder. He stroked over her making her buck against his hand. "Nuh-uh Kagome." He told her and pushed her upper body forward towards the wall. She accepted her weight on her palms. "I want you to look at them. I bet they can smell you from here."

The thought made her cheeks go pink. She tried to straighten but Inuyasha had other plans, his fingers teasing her. "Inuyasha!" she cried out. He liked the idea that below him they could sense her, she was his and that was all that mattered. The fact that someone might peer up, following that sweet scent and see her passion filled features from the top of the wall. That made him hard as hell.

Kagome was willing to do anything for release at this point, his fingers sliding over hot, wet flesh. She heard the rustle of clothing behind her, felt him shift. Inuyasha knelt behind her, positioning his back against the wall, and holding her hips, he forced her core to his mouth. He growled against her, lapping at wet folds, parting the clinging flesh with an adept tongue.

She shook above him, his mastery of her pushing them both onward. "Moan for me Kagome. " he demanded as he redoubled his efforts. Her legs not wanting to hold her up any longer began to bend, but he held her in place with that strength that comforted and dominated. Her eyes locked on the soldiers below, her hand fisted in the pale hair of her lover.

Inuyasha let one hand trail lower to slip a thick finger inside of her. Her body fluttered around him and he smiled against her. "Kagome's gonna come." He sing songed to her, and she knew he was right. That hot coil dangerously tight. Her need so powerful that she felt tears prick behind her eyes. Her breath was nothing but a ghost of a pant. Small mewling sounds coming from her throat and her fingers were clutching almost convulsively in his hair.

Feeling her whole body tighen to unbearable degrees, Inuyasha growled loudly, "Come for me Kagome, scream my name." He nipped her pearl sharply, the pain/pleasure running through her like thousands of tiny explosions. Her neck arched, her face met the heavens and her voice rang out shrilly, "Inu… INUYASHA!"

Below her the demon smirked, lapping at the juices that flowed from her body. He stood, untying his hakamas enough to free his hardness. Kagome caught sight from the corner of her eye. He caught her looking, "You want me Kagome?" he asked her. She nodded, licking her lips that had gone very dry. "Answer me woman."

Kagome felt him nudge her core and let her head fall back again, "Yes!" she moaned, "Yes I want you Inuyasha!" It was all he was waiting for. With a powerful surge forward, he filled her. She heard him grunt even as she sucked in a breath. Her eyes lowered to the yard below as he began to move. Sessh peered up a moment later and she felt her cheeks heat, even as the spring wound tight again.

Inuyasha pumped hard against her, his thumb returning to her jewel. She closed her eyes and clung to the stones before her. Inuyasha's thrusts lifted her as he worked her body. She shivered all around him, her core clamping down on his with such force that he swore. "Fuck… you are so hot Kagome!"

His words sent her hurtling over the edge of passion to that mad swirl of colors. The coupling was fast and hard and intensely satisfying. Her cried rang out over the courtyard and Inuyasha followed her into orgasm with the smug happiness that the men below had been unwitting witness to the passion he bore his wife.

He held Kagome for long minutes, waiting for her legs to stop shaking. His soft growling a comfort to her as she struggled to regain control. He heard Sessh far below call a halt to the training and figured he'd be coming to the parapet any minute now. He straightened Kagome's robes and hugged her against his chest while he fixed his hakamas.

Sesshoumaru burst onto the stone a minute later. He had planned to tell Inuyasha off for taking Kagome in this place. Hell, he'd known what was going on by scent alone, let alone the sweet cries that drifted over the wall. He stopped, taking in the sight before him. Inuyasha with a small smile and Kagome relaxed against him, her cheeks flushed from lovemaking. The sun was sinking lower and cast them in gold.

He moved to press a kiss to her lips and sighed, joining them as they stared across the sky to forever.
